I'm just posting a direct link to the CM download link for the SGH-T989. I'm not the developer (Obviously) this is pure non-kanged CM9 AOSP goodness. Finally out of RC phase, stable and ready to go.
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=hercules&type=stable
Alright fellas, I'm not the developer. All of your questions really need to go to the Cyanogenmod team. I can only post information at my disposal. That being said this is a link to the things being merged for the Hercules.
http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#/q/s...ndroid_device_samsung_hercules+branch:ics,n,z
And whats cooking in the nightly builds
http://changelog.bbqdroid.org/#hercules/cm9/1344626800
Also, for all the "how is this working, does this do etc etc. Make a nandroid- follow classic wipe procedures IE TDJ ext wipe - flash rom - flash gapps - flash cache wipe and........ Find out for yourself.

Last I tried some weeks ago in July, all those were very low.

The transfers speeds have always been very low with CM9. I don't think it's a bug as much as they've just not increased the read/write speed for whatever reason. I believe you can adjust that with Rom Tool Box of you want. I need to try that to.
I've never really used touch to focus. Do other CM ROM's have this feature? Maybe they'll include it in CM10.

I ran through every build of jelly bean. Though its gorgeous and project butter greatly outweighs lenaro compilation in terms of performance output. In terms of stability and real world use CM9 wins for me. And with enough mods and under the hood tweaking my phone out performs the S3 in several ways. So if my year old device can beat its brand new sibling I'm a happy camper. CM10 will be fantastic once stable. Until then I need to have a phone not a toy.

Anyone running CM9 Stable care to comment on if they got 4G working? Last I tried Chop's CM9 and AOKP I couldnt get 4G, which was pretty much the reason why I'm running a non AOSP rom at the moment. Darkside is pretty badass and props to the dev but I love me straight up AOSP.
Also very minor issue but if you can check if NBA Jams is working?

Yes. HSDPA+ and HSPAP are functioning normally. At least for me they are. Never had any issues with any rom as far as that goes. Granted Stock ICS and the Darkside series gave slightly faster speeds. The difference is negligible in real world use. As far as benchmarks are concerned yes AOSP based roms are slightly slower. Keywords though, "real world usage". Fairly certain it has something to do with the bcm4330 drivers. Perhaps Samsung uses different drivers in-house as opposed to what they open source. Or perhaps they only open source parts of the driver that they have to and the rest is proprietary.
Cool, I'll give it a flash in a few moments and try it out.
On Chop's CM9 and on AOKP I couldnt get on 4g, I'd be stuck on 3G and even in areas where I would normally get 5+ Mbits I'd be getting like 1-2 so it wasnt that it was just saying 3G.

Both are in their alpha stages, so of course be cautious when using them. I've been on CM Alpha 2 for 2 weeks now and it's been silky smooth with great battery life 15-17 hours.
Now I think I'm going to get a taste of AOKP and see what's all the hype about.
Personally, you can only try them yourself. Both are AOSP 4.0.4, and AOKP has more customization such as lockscreen, status bar, and nifty things. For everything else, you have to try it out yourself!
Vs Codename

I've been using Nocturnal Venom AOKP for the past couple of days and today I tried AOKP Build 32. I love how much you can customize on it... especially with stuff like toggles, lock screen, battery bar, etc. Not really sure about CM9 because it was always "too risky" to try, but I think i'm sticking with AOKP-based ROMs.
I like AOKP! I want to use it badly....

Aokp 32 is flawless for me so far. There's only 2 bugs I've found.
SMS doesn't send when character limit is over 160 (even with split messages option turned on and gosms doesn't fix it.) And the signal bars don't accurately display my signal strength.
Everything else is working and battery is the best I've had on any rom.

I REALLY liked AOPK but I had issues with apps not saving to USB. Everything else worked great, has several more customization options than cm9. But so far cm9 has been very stable...both are still in alpha so you can play around with both and decide what you like best since app restore is simple on both.

Archidroid was the first I found....then Philly.com...then several games....dunno why it happened but it did. Had the same result with the nocturnal venum ROM last night and TCP said it was an error he was working on. Think NV is based off AOKP so it had the same issue on both. TCP said it'd be fixed tonight so not a huge issue.

I recently rooted and flashed my E4GT with CM9 alpha6: Android 4.0.4, but after trying it for a week I'm finding that this ICS rom doesn't quite seem ready for daily use. Issues: Camera error "insert an SD card", Apollo's Equalizer never worked (no change at all), after calls it has error "unfortunately DSPManager has stopped", GPS stopped working on day 2, just keeps searching for GPS, battery life is only so-so, I get about 6 hours if I'm lucky, and then there is the random force-closing of programs (stock SMS especially) and weird "ghost" Menu Button presses. WHEW!
After a quick One-Click Odin back to GB Stock pretty much everything is working again, except GPS, not sure what that's about, but I'm going to wait a while before using ICS as my daily ROM. I don't mind a little tweaking once in a while, but that was too many issues to be messing with.

ics blazer rom
im running the ics blazer rom with the ff18 modem is there a better modem and or rom... i love this rom but still wanna see if there is better ones mainly modem though
Had a breakthrough today while fooling around with some zips, and found that if you just replace the META-INF folder and Boot.blob in CM10 based roms from the TF700t with the equivalents from the new CM10 nightly(with jb bootloader support) they will boot! there is obviously issues such as dpi being set at 240 instead of 160 and I had wifi issuses with the Paranoid android Rom i ported, but this is great news for devs and our tablet as we can very easily port roms!
Edit: Got Blackbean and paranoid working with wifi, will post link when uploaded! Was extremely easy just used the instructions in this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908008, Thanks to rishabh.raj37 for his great, deadsimple guide. also thank you to nycbjrand the baked tea, for the blackbean for tf700t as well as jbob413 and the paranoid android team for the paranoid tf700t rom i used. Finally a huge thanks goes out to xplodwild for his work to bring cm10 to the jelly bean bootloader, his rom was used as a base for both of these

As I posted in the BB thread I had a number of reboots along WiFi issues. I am currently on Hydro 4.1 in a very stable situation, no reboots, no WiFi problems.
I did a full wipe install of the port twice with the same results.
To me is not the port itself but the kernel WiFi drivers as the reboots occurs immediately after a WiFi driver crash. A simple reboot does not bring the drivers back into operation. A cold reboot ( shut down - restart) is required to bring the tablet back to normal.

^^ this guy... doesn't even own an e4gt and still pulling this off!
BTW y'all, running great. Even got to flash without wiping data. Loving how you can pick what pressing clock & date does in the pulldown.
And the boot animation? Well, you'll just have to flash it yourself won't you? Lol

OK so this is my new daily lol
So I ported these animations made by Vicino for the xylon ROM on the gNex
Here's the thread

Here's a video I made

Again.. Not my creation. I just ported it. You have Vicino to thank for the work. And if he doesn't want me posting this I'll take it down.
And ... He didn't so I respect that

Nice.. I want some if this love on my phone
-TeaM VeNuM Like A Boss
-Galaxy Note II Edition
Only thing I can report after testing for an hour or so is some of the settings do not stick after reboot (status bar transparency & wifi name on notification shade). Can't really find anything else. This thing runs surprisingly well and so far everything I've tested works perfectly. Thanks so much.
Wi-Fi?
Version?

WiFi works. Not sure what version you're asking for. In the title it states it uses PA 2.55 and aokp m-1.
Do you know which cm10 version this is based off of? I ask because the 12/2 nightly blows every other nightly away in terms of performance.
If my post doesn't make sense, i apologize.

It was built off of the most recent commits. So, 12/02 files, plus anything committed since then.

What is ChameleonOS?
"Chameleon OS (or ChaOS for short) is a custom Android ROM that gives the user more control than they can experience on any other Android ROM. Starting with a CyanogenMOD base, we customize each piece to give ultimate control while maintaining the simplicity we all love about Android. The most notable feature of ChaOS is the theme engine, which can apply different pieces of themes in a true mix-and-match style. The launcher has been completely overhauled with tons of options that you'd normally need to download a third-party launcher for, such as home screen previews, folder sorting, and folder icon styles. The Messaging app has also had some UI retouches, including messaging bubbles and quick emoji button," (http://www.chameleonos.org).
Working:

Looks exciting, i'll give it a shot, what version of android are we looking at?
Thanks man, but what kernel is inside? Does it have random reboots?

3.0.72 kernel, I see no reboots, but this isn't my daily phone, so idk
looks good, I'm going to try!
Someone know if have the problem with heaset-aricular battery drain ¿ I will try this rom and later say how work
So far so good, though the Chameleon OS itself doesn't have many themes so you need to use MIUI or the other options they give. Haven't had any random reboots just some force closes. Like that it has 4.2.2 which has many awesome features so will see how that works with the themes. Good job OP in porting this to our phone, thanks.
This is looking great so far, liking it very much ...

I'm pretty sure it is kernel related... Coderz .62 and .64 kernels had a fix for the heat. I wish I knew more about it. I think the MIUI rom had the first 3.xxx kernel with the fix in it.
I believe elgin has a pretty firm grasp of the problem, but no time to find the fix and implement it:

If we flash the MIUI kernel you mentioned, will it fix the problem?

its not that simple. last i checked miui was on android version 4.1 point something. The ramdisk needs to be modified even before flashing. and even if that was changed, that's still a completely different kernel.
Don't mean to go off topic but the liquid smooth thread is closed and just wondering where to look for liquid updates if any come out.
