Do it correctly sister its works for all

did not work here, I went to system / app and all scored permições, rebooted and always appears: The application was not installed.

In my fone I was editing d files for quickpanel music background.but by changing dem in two_framework and systemui didn't work..so I copied d music apk from system/app and pasted in sd for backup..den I extracted it and replaced d png files I wanted 2 change.then zipped it and den replaced d og 1 with it.then rebooted.. And on reboot my music.apk was not der only.not on screen and not in app drawer.so I deleted d edited 1 frm system/app and gone to recovery deleted cache memory,dalvik cache and rebooted. Den on reboot I copied d og file of music.apk in my system using root explorer.I hav done all this using root explorer and den again gone in recovery deleted cache memory and dalvik cache.. And rebooted but still music.apk missing...plz help.....!!!

Where did u get og file?? Did u set the permissions clearly?? U wanted to mod d color background so which picture u modded?? Did u use apktool??

Dude before editing only I copied d original music.apk and pasted in sdcard.. And I extracted it using root explorer..den just replaced d file I wanted to..den zipped dat changed music folder and renamed it from music.zip to music.apk and replaced d original

What shud I do wid these manoranjan.shud i copy music.apk and music.odex to system/app and den reboot..and do I need to set some special permissions??

I think u didnt set the permissions clearly...
I am noob to it bt i think this is what the problem was..
**rooting is new for me...and i am noob to root...**

It's simple!
Delete the apk and odex files in system folder , after download a magnific apk that I discovery:
System apps installer
Run the apk and browse the new modified system apk and just one click the system apps installer make all job for you...
The SYSTEM APPS INSTALLER install any system applications in any version, for upgrade or downgrade or just modified versions of system applications!

[REQ]Walkman for gio

I was wondering if there is a walkman music app (from sony) for our gio. A week ago i had the xperia z rom which has the walkman app (modded i guess) and it has great sound. Now i have the enhanced rom and i realky wanna have walkman back

Extract Walkman™ from that rom & paste it in /system/app of ur current rom, then change its permissions to rw-r--r-- via Root Explorer.
But remember that both the roms should have same base version.

[BOOTANIMATION] Xda Developers in the X Box startup (Video Preview added) !

Hey Guys! New Bootanimation .. Its the Xbox startup but with XDA Developers written under the xbox logo! 1280 x 720 resolution!

How to install :
Download file from Below ,
Download LInk : http://www.mediafire.com/download/fzgz0kv8r864f8z/xdainxboxvertical.zip
place it on your sd card ,
open any root explorer , rename file to bootanimation.zip , copy it,
go into system/media , check if a bootanimation.zip is already there(take a backup of that if you want) , replace it with new bootanimation.zip , and set permissions to rw-r-r . and reboot

NOTE: if you are on 4.2.2 , head over to the great anbech's thread and flash the ENABLE 4.2.1 zip file to enable bootanimations !

Just install the apk and enjoy , if you have problems with installation failed go to system>app and delete gallery2 , now install the app , this is fully working on my Incredible 2 with chillybean latest cm10.1

Does photosphere work on this one.

This apk breaks video recording for me, but the gallery is great

Look in the gnex forums for this apk and I think there was a .lib package you need too , I think they got them under s4 camera apk
