Make your Gtalk transparent...
Transparent Gtalk is only available in ICS but here is the modification to run on Gingerbread and Modified by me to work on Ace.

This mod will change your baseband,custom rom,device model name display
Requirements:
*Rooted Phone
*Root Exploler
1.Open root exploler and go to
System/
Search Build.prop
2.Open with text Editor
3.Search ur baseband and device model,custom rom
*Don't edit anything except baseband,custom rom,device model
4Edit whatever u want
5.Reboot
6.Look in setings/about/
7.Waaaaaaw...... Its change
Note:Copy ur real build.prop to sd card if u want restore to default changes before try this mod

Please Dont Play With Build Prop.
You forgot to mention to 'Mount R/W' in Root Explorer. You can't change anything when it's mounted as R/O

sometimes I edit my build.prop file just for fun. howewver build.prop is a sensitive file. in some case it will make your market didn't work but it can also ended with bootloop. have a nice fun but be carefull with it.

If you have root, just move to system/app setting permission as follows.

and then move it to system/app

Get SystemUI.apk in the zip file of your ROM. Place it on system/app with correct permissions

do you have compact carrier label ticked under cm settings-> interface -> status bar tweaks
if so untick it and see

i see it works for many ppl man...try pushing again and check if compact carrier label is ticked in status bar tweaks in cm settings

re-name it to conversations.apk
It won't work unless u use a ported version.
