Download play store and framework from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639213
Then use Rom Toolbox to change your lcd density.
I've never been able to boot after using lcd modder even with darkside.

Even better, use root explorer to open build.prop. scroll until you see the density: 240. Change it from there and save, reboot. Just keep in mind your phone may not boot regardless of how small of a difference you make so always nandroid first

I used ROM toolbox and it works like charm.. I set it to 200 and also play store will display apps incompatible , to fix this use LCD density modder and click on fix market issues and install it..then u r ready to go.

All of a sudden my phone is sluggish and when I check the market a lot of the apps are showing up under my apps....I navigate to need and a yellow message at the top says this app is not compatible with your device..

It's the lcd. Change it back to 240, or downgrade to a 2.x.x market.

Yup, that's the problem. One of the few negative effects of changing lcd density along with the offset dialer

never used sensored blizzard rom, but you can either use an app called lcd density for root or change the resolution in the build.prop with root explorer...
How do I do it within the ROM using root explorer

activate root explorer and mount system writeable
go to /system/ scroll to the bottom and choose the build.prop
search for a line which looks like this:
ro.sf.lcd_density=240 ...here you can change the dpi
(example: ro.sf.lcd_density=190) save and reboot = enjoy
Changing density will make some apps not work. I've changed mine through explorer.

yes and the market thinks you have a tab (compatibility issue)...
Rom toolbox allows you to change pixel density. It has almost all the 'root' tools I use these days.
Does anyone know how to change lcd density?
I tried 2 apps (LCDdensity for root and LCD resolution for root) but it didn't work...
I'm running rooted stock 4.0.4
Rom toolbox

The initial play store screen shows only apps, magazines, and music.
Everything else seems to be fine.
I think what he means is that certain apps, in the store, will not show up as compatible for your phone based on the density you select. This is true even if your phone is actually compatible with it.
I used texdroider dpi worked good with jmt

I have tried several apps to change the screen Dpi but none stick or auto reboot to stock Dpi. Are there any tips that one can offer to change to Dpi of say 240 and have it stick? Even just some tips to change it and stick would be great. Thanks to all in advance.

I just use root explorer to locate build.prop and then open it using the default text editor and look for "320" and then change that to whatever you want. I use 200

I've installed and updated Xposed framework, and Xposed App Settings mod and the mod is enabled. Still I see no effect after applying DPI changes? Why's that?
Some DPI changes requires a restart to take effect.
Nope, nothing. I tried System UI and Awesome Note, changed to 160 DPI. Nothing - it's all the same.
Do you have the latest version of the xposed app settings module installed? Some apps wouldn't change dpi for me until I installed the latest one.

Nope. Not working either - updated and tried the method, no difference. Do you have to restart every single time with every app? It works on nothing for me, I've tried restarting a few times after applying, can't bother doing that anymore though.
If it works on nothing, are you sure you've installed the xposed framework properly? As in, you've launched the installer after installing the apk and pressed "install/update" and rebooted afterwards?
I've had no issues with the xposed app settings on either Samsung or cm based ROMs.

Yeah I know how to edit build.prop, not exactly what I'm looking for. Does it change per app DPI?
For most of the apps it changes the DPI. I am not sure whether the DPI changes for games too, cause all the games are same as before.

So I can change the DPI of apps INDIVIDUALLY? Gimme the link then.

I think he means, something like AOSPA. For instance, changing gmail to tablet UI, instead of phone UI. Not necessarily just the size.
