At custom roms without a problem (even now there are roms like that), but at stock it's rather unthinkable.

Which?
Can u point out that rom to me ?

If you mean, the classic android's slide to wakt, then CM9 for example. If you mean that slide the virtual buttons to wake, than that is not currently available (at least for this phone atm)

Apparently the problem is the same even if I use a Sense ROM (here I'm using Android Revolution HD)

[Q]Anyway for use Cyanogen Setting into stock rom or custom rom stock base?

Hellow.
You see, I love Cyanogenmod roms because of it special settings, and I want use it setting into a stock rom or into a custom rom with stock base.
Reason for not ussing Cyanogenmod? Because I´ve got problems with it once I install many programs using S2E for sd-ext (and I can´t use A2sd or link 2 Sd in official CyanogenMod Rom, also, I don´t like the mods of it, I preffer ussing stock roms untill there´s the final version of Official Cyanogenmod rom).
If possible I want to know if I can use the option remove one at one notifications in stock roms.
Thanks and Sorry for my English if It´s bad

There is a reason that they can only be used in Cyanogen, because they've been made by Cyanogen for Cyanogen. So, unless you're using Cyanogen, no Cyanogen settings for you.
Geez, so many Cyanogen on a single phrase

[Q] Buy now or wait for a custom ROM?

I totally intend on running CM or some other ROM once it's available. Is the stock ROM decent enough to use now and just move to a better ROM later, or should I hold off and wait till a custom ROM is available? I can hold on to my Gnex for a while longer.
Well if you dont get it then the HTC Dev unlock will be gone so there wont be a choice for custom roms.

They aren't supportive of development and they have had HTC block devices from dev unlocking in the past.

rom or wait for official?

So ive got a D851, and as most of you know, Lollipop still isnt out yet, should be out soon no doubt, but ive read that there are a lot of bugs and issues and what not with the official version of Lollipop. So my question is, would i be better off waiting for the official Lollipop or getting a L based rom?

Yes but it's only a matter of time before a fix comes out. Nothing better than running stock official firmware. Too many roms have different bugs. Unless you want try and find the one that has less.

I guess youre right. Thanks!
Either way, you're going to have bugs. Some are very well documented on any device for which Lollipop has been released.
My thought is to wait for the custom ROMs based from the D851 stock. By that time, many of the existing bugs will have been squashed or have acceptable work-arounds. You also end up with the best of both worlds, think of it as customized stock.
From what I hear, official Lollipop has a lot of bugs or rather annoying quirks, and that no had yet to find a way to unlock the bootloader, so would it be smart to wait for the official update, or root right now and get a L based rom?

I guess it really doesn't matter what you download and flash. Official lollipop has bugs and any L rom you get now has many bugs also. As for me I'm sticking with zonerom until something solid comes out.
What do u recommend I do? Wait or use a rom?

I played with a couple of the roms last week. The plus is the battery, it rocks. Couple bugs: 1. Touch sensitivity is not very good 2. Radio (noticed I lost connection in places I normally don't)

Yes, it is for that. But you've asked the question three times in the same thread and people are still answering you. Are you looking for a different answer than what was given?

Lollipop nexus style rom

Hi to everyone in this thread I want to update you on Nexus Style rom lollipop cm12.1 based for s3 neo.
The rom will have google apps and less cyanogenmod personalization, just to have a google edition lollipop rom.
I will start really soon and if you have requests or advices let me know by answering to this thread or via pm.
See you.

I wouldnt mind testing a GPE rom for our device. The more roms the better.
If you want to make this ROM, I will try, I really like stock Android, without CM customisation.
Totally give it a go. The simpler it is the faster it gets! Thanks for supporting this device

I'd prefer to have a stock ROM and mod what I need.

.... dont you understand this is useless? And theres like no cm customization in their rom. It wont be faster. And if you deny this theres something bad with you. CM is not bloated with things so no need for a clean rom... its already a clean rom.

You can't judge until you test it. And it's good to have variety of roms. Don't get harsh.
