Do yo mean turn it off and on ,yes i did, maybe a factory reset????
You can try to pull the battery out for a few moment, put it back, reboot to Android and see if you can download the OTA 4.0.2.
If not, use the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit from mskip :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1392310
and download the stock image 4.0.2 :
http://code.google.com/android/nexus/images.html
Hope it helps.
Problem solved ,A factory reset did it , just one minute after it i got the update, now ill be testing my brand new GN thx for the help

Galaxy note 2 WONT BOOT!!!

Really need some assistance here if someone could please help. I downloaded chainfire 3d, because i read it would speed up my game lag/speed. After install, it asked for a reboot....my phone hasnt been able to boot now, it has been stuck on the logo screen. I can get into recovery mode, i did a reset and formatted everything (which i REALLY didnt want to do), but i need my phone on asap. After all that, nothing has worked after reboot. Still stuck on logo screen, someone please give me any ideas to get this back on its really upsetting Thanks a lot, really hope someone has some ideas.

Do you have a nandroid available? Otherwise I'd advise that you use Odin and go back to full stock

Follow Jed instructions above but in the future please make a backup(nandroid) in recovery so you can restore if necessary.

If you can still get into Download Mode you can always flash the stock rom back using the Odin tool on your PC. Use the procedure below to get into download mode:
Entering download mode is very simple. First you will need to turn off your device. Once it’s off, you need to press this button combination: volume down, power button and home button. Keep them pressed until the download mode shows up. Once you’re there, you will be requires to press volume up to enter the download mode or volume down to cancel and reboot the device.
Then follow these instructions:
If u have a custom recovery there's always this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2086769
And sadly yes cf3d does not work on any device with touchwiz jellybean
What I did in that situation is first download a stock deodexed rom.
Then connect your phone with your pc and open the Odin program on your computer.
(may or may not have to install Kies)
Then flash the deodexed rom to your phone.

[Q] Problem with Avatar Rom (Bootloop)

Hey guys, today I decided to root my Galaxy Nexus on Android 4.2.2, so far so good. The root is done and I wanted to install the Avatar ROM but there's a problem. After the installation my Nexus reboots and the Avatar Bootlogo appears but nothing happens (I think it was a bootloop). I waited about 15 minutes and then I decided to restore my backuped Stock ROM but it would be nice to try something new, the Avatar ROM. Can anyboby help me please? Don't know what went wrong and I really need help from you :s. Thanks a lot.
Sounds like someone didn't follow directions and do a factory reset from recovery

Ah... No, I did follow them and I got same result on KitKat Avatar.
are you sure
Hmm waiting 15 main cannot be called boot looping because if it was a boot loop then it can be easily spotted since galaxy nexus dims the brightness few seconds before completion of boot
Sometimes it takes more time then you think

[Q] Verizon galaxy nexus stuck on bootscreen

Ok so i noticed my speaker/headphone was really low. It was getting annoying so i decided to root the phone to get this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1748803 I accidently used a version for an older firmware (im on stock 4.2.2) and i flashed it onto my phone and it worked good until it got stuck on "Android is upgrading... Starting apps.". I tried to wipe the caches but that didnt work so then i tried to factory reset in cwm. Now im stuck at the boot screen with the nexus x and i dont know what to do . Can somebody please help me?
While your waiting for a response, research adv and the push commands. All you need to do is push a ROM to your internal storage for you to flash. And make a back up as soon add you get back up and running. They're a life saver

HTC M8 OTA Update failed now cant do anything

Hey guys,
So this morning I got prompted to update to 4.4.3 (i think it was that version). anyways i clicked okay to install it, so i left my phone and came back.
when i looked at it, it just was a black screen and was stuck. I reset it and now i can only go to the stock recovery mode or it just boots up to a black screen.
What can i do? if i plug it into the computer it cant install the MTP driver.
Thanks for your help!

You could have waited for a few mins before taking any action. The OTA update process clearly states that you should not disturb the device and/or use it when the updates are being installed. Looks like its software bricked. Try a reset from the stock recovery. I'm sure nothing would happen, as the OS would have been corrupted. At this point, I recommend you to get it fixed via HTC. :good:
