Hi there,
I recently tried to flash a new rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1403113
Everything went fine, untill I rebooted.
Because I keep getting the "HTC, Quietly brilliant" screen (green letters and white background).
It just stays there untill the battery is finished.
I have a good CWM backup, but I can't acces any menus anymore.
Is there anyway to fix my phone? For instance, by putting cwm on there again, so I can restore to my previous ROM?
I'm leaving on holiday next week tuesday, and I'd like to fix it by then.
I would be very gratefull if anyone could help me with it.
Thanks! Sean

Try boot into fastboot with BACK + POWER

And of course it's fixable. Flash recovery.img from fastboot (using fastboot commands or android flasher) and just restore your bacup.

Hi Guys
So, not so long ago I got my first Android phone, after i just bought nexus 7 and fell completely head over heels in love with this OS.
so when i got my HTC One V and saw the OS i was pretty disapointed, and decided to update the ROM.
i used this "w.w.w.android.gs/update-gsm-htc-one-v-aokp-jelly-bean" guide and everything went fine, until i rebooted to recovery.
Then i get this image of my phone and 2 green arrows pointing in a circle (didn't know how to say this ) and then that disappears and another screen with an image of a phone, and a red triangle and an exclamation mark inside of the triangle. and then the phone rebooted and showed the white HTC screen and red text underneath saying "this build belongs to HTC......" and then it resets but always shows the same screen.
I tried doing a Factory reset in Bootloader, but it always shows that HTC screen and red text.
i don't know what to do, i hope you guys have some answers, i certainly don't
This happened to me before too.. try to turn it on. If you made a backup like your supposed to and haven't flashed a kernal hold power until it stops blinking then hold vol down and then go into recovery and wipe data/facreset and wipe cache/dalvik and then install your backup and reboot.

I think it was because you don't have a recovery. I don't think you flashed it properly try again. That was my problem

download a cm10 primou ROM/gapps/ to your sd card then downlad the boot.IMG on your computer. Go into recovery andflash gapps and the ROM.. then hold power and when it goes off hold down and you should go into boot loader. Then select fast boot. Go onto your computer and go to the cmd prmpt and type fastboot flash boot boot.IMG and them reboot. Depending on the kernel/boot.IMG you may need to flash the zip for it too.

I was using romtoolbox to install a boot animation I found I'm the themes and apps forum. After rebooting to check it out the screen just stays black. I haven't been able to get into recovery with the button combo but can get into download mode. What are my options? Odin to stock? Kinda stuck..
Edit: used the note 2 toolbox and was able to access recovery. Forgot that trusty thing
White "Samsung" text on boot after flashing stock rom from custom cyanogen mod.
I had Cyanogen mod installed and was having a lot of glitches/freezes. I downloaded and installed the stock ATT rom (UCDLK3) and flashed it to my device following these steps.
http://androidromupdate.com/2012/08...-sgh-i747-to-original-factory-stock-firmware/
After doing so, I am stuck on bootup with white "Samsung" text.
I found this thread which had a suggested answer, but my phone won't boot into recovery mode. When I try to boot into recovery mode, i see small text at the top that says "Recovery rebooting...", but then it flashs "Samsung" quickly, then goes back to being stuck with the white "Samsung" text.
How do I boot into recovery mode to wipe/data that may be preventing me from booting properly?
Ok what phone do you have? This is the forums for the L710 Sprint phone that link you posted is for a different S3. Hopefully you haven't bricked your phone. And that second link you found is for an HTC phone. Your all over the place.
