Is is it GB? ICS? Mabey even a taste of JB?
So what are you currently running? And why?
Me? Well I'm running CM 7.2 Kang 6/19, but I will probably change depending on this fourm.....

I am running CM7.2 nightlies and aeroevan v10.5 kernel with incredicontrol bumping the clock to 1.4 and dropping the volts by a bit.
Very stable and all functionality intact.
I would love to jump onto a jb ROM, but they all seem to have issues with features and functionality. I will be patient, though, and I know that I will try out jb at some point in the future.
-CM7 on DInc2
IC Tazz sense 3.6 is my choice of roms. I love sense and this is a nice mix of ICS and Sense and its smooth. No complaints with this one.
Running Kangdemnation ICS can't really do things right now for jb cuz of kernel issues since I'm s-on
But loving the rom I'm using now

I've been running aokp (ICS) since before cs released his kangdemnation ROM. I like it for the tweaks that aokp has but have been having some problems lately such as my phone rebooting when I get calls. It only happens every once in a while but its getting annoying. I will probably try something else soon.

I dont use any Sense widgets anyway...but like knowing the Sense quality camera is there if I need it.
AOSP ports always give me issues with in call volume and screen on. Im one of those guys who plants the phone against my face and the screen turns on. Darn!
I really liked UKB but the radio turning off when connecting to wifi bugs me - I use my phone to talk quite a bit.

I'm in kangdemnation .4, but I must admit you guys are right about functionality & reliability. ICS runs great. Can't wait till all the bugs are squashed.
Not a huge sense fan (used to be). It feels sort of heavy to me. TSM UKB rocks, tho.
PA is way cool, but haven't really gotten over the learning curve yet.
I'll probably go back to CM7 at some point. The Reverend mentioned CCM7 1.5 with aero's .8 was a good build.
The nice thing about flashing constantly is that you learn about options that you never knew existed & often can find ways to make them work on other roms. The downside is that your wife gets pissed cause you're on the phone too much! :banghead:

All i really care about is a working camera and i don't really use fcc. So i'm on 07/30 aero jb ROM. Battery life is phenomenal and i haven't had any issues. I realize that camcorder & fcc doesn't work, but i'm fine with that. Aero's cm9 build worked great too, so i would recommend that for camcorder and FCC. I tried the latest sense based ICS roms and didn't care for them , but that just my opinion.
I loaded up a "final rom flash",even though I've said that a hundred times, I'm running cm9 with aeros .12 kernal without the adreno drivers cooked in. Instead I flashed the ics adreno 200 drivers, along with Google now, agps patch, and its probably my daily until jb gets a little more stable.this combo is solid on my phone. Although any of the ics roms are equal in my eyes in different respects , there all great lol
I've been using Skyraider Zeus for many months now and it has been great! Long battery life and really smooth. I used CM7.2 by CondemnedSoul before Skyraider and that rom is excellent as well
I tried ICS roms but I couldn't live with bugs. I like complete functionality

I didn't know if the adreno drivers that got put into aeros kernel were the same as the ics adreno 200, I really don't know what the difference was and that's what I wanted to see since I thought the other drivers were for jelly bean, I figured the ics ones would be better for ics, but I rarely have graphics issues. I'm pretty sure i asked that same question in one of the inc2 threads lol

I though I would start a thread to get peoples options on there favorite sense 3.5 Rom.
I think the most common Sense 3.5 ROMs are Magnolia, Incredible 2 HD, and Runnydroid. I will add more if you use somthing else as your daily driver.
Edit: Virtuous affinity,Mikrunny
My favorite Sense 3.5 ROM is incredible 2 HD. It has a lot of added tweaks and is fully functional.
So what's your favorite Sense 3.5

I've been running the Mikrunny ROM for a couple weeks now. I have no complaints at all.
Personally, I find all Sense 3.5 ROMs to be somewhat slow and laggy. For that reason I only run Sense 3.0 and lower and AOSP ROMs. In my experience they are far smoother than Sense 3.5. My personal recommendations are TSM Trinity and Bullet.

Yeah best way to describe it. I can't run ICS along with what appears to be several others. Nobody can figure it out either. Ive ran all ICS Roms up untill about 2 weeks ago. Tried ICS again. Everytime I turn my screen off goes black and when I try to turn screen back on only the bottom lights come up also Rom runs horrible extremely lagged, never had this problem in the past. Wiped everything even sd card. Only thing I haven't tried is rerooting. May be only hope. Wish I could fix it. Drives me crazy. Oh by the way can run cyanogenmod 7 just fine. Not to smash your hopes, but I unrooted, s-off and factory stock (rom and recovery) and it didn't help. As I mentioned before, I'm not sure it is necessary ICS related as this started happing earlier this past summer with a paticular MIUI build. Maybe its the way these ICS roms install.
Well, with the latest and greatest roms from some very talented and dedicated devs for the Dinc 2, I officially see no reason to reason to use CM7 or MIUI Gingerbread anymore. I was running both of these earlier in the week and in short order found my way back to ICS roms in very short order.
I can't wait till source fixes the few things that are left to fix, but I can live with what I have for now.
Thanks to the Dinc 2 Devs out there!!!
On gingerbread miui... I like it so much I don't see the point to switching. Everything is exactly how I want it... Plus not sure what is so much better about ics

I can't wait for Opensense4 to be as functional as AOKP and CM9. I use my camera on a daily basis, so I haven't made the transition yet to an ICS ROM as my DD (from SRZeus). But it is nice to see all the hard work being put into ROMs for a phone that doesn't have all the leaks yet.

Hi all,
After 2 years with the my beloved DINC (actually my 4th replacement) I am now getting a DINC2 from Asurion. I hadn't flashed anything since last year when I moved from CM7 to MIUI until a few weeks ago when I flashed to Abduction ICS. I love that ROM! It is well laid out, good looking, andruns great. It was like getting a new phone for me. Unfortunately my audio jacked borked so bye bye dinc.
I have looked around a bit in development here. I saw the sticky about not flashing the Chinese RUUs and not downgrading the bootloader. Can anyone suggest a ROM I might like? I'm hoping just to find a good one, get everything configured and not mess around flashing for awhile.
Thanks
For ICS roms, CM9 and AOKP are the two big ones. AOKP has more options and customization, but aeroevan's cm9 is modded specifically for our phone so it runs smoother. If you do use aokp, use aero's kernel with it. Personally, I switch between the two as new features come out.
If you're looking for a sense rom, nitsuj's TSM UltimateKangBang is very nice, I personally can't stand sense but I did flash that for a day and it was pretty smooth.

totally agree with you. I've had a droidx for a few years and have stuck with the gb roms the whole way. I've tried all the ics ones, but they all have their issues, even if it's just battery life. every once in awhile I even flash a froyo rom and love it...

MROM
Incredicontrol overclocked to 1.3GHz
Zeppelinrox's V6 Supercharger and Kick Ass Kernelizer scripts
Flawless functionality, battery life, and stability.
Theme it however you want.
Good luck with the phone! It's a good one that is overlooked.

I have run this rom with and without the scripts, I don't see much if any difference. You don't have to use those if you don't want to. And you don't need an app to overclock, it has that in settings. But you can use that to undervolt and change I/o's. As phonetool stated, this rom runs really well on this phone. Give it a shot.

I had been using DKStunna's Global 10.1 JB ROM build 3 as my DD for a few months and it was mostly stable. It would lag out once in a while I was managing apps, but it was pretty fast with the built-in Nova Launcher. I got tired of not having a working camcorder and since DKStunna broke his Vivow and ceased development I decided to switch to ChillyBean's ParanoidAndroid/PAC 2.19 ROM. So far it's been awesome! It has "inverted" GAPPS, Facebook, and some other core system apps, which I'm not a fan of, but it's supposedly something you can change. I have a working camcorder again (after a few tweaks), which is what I was looking for. It looks like ChillyBean broke his Vivow also so I don't know how much more development he'll be able to do, which is very sad. Anyway, I highly recommend the latest ParanoidAndroid.

You don't have to change anything for the inverted gapps. Just flash the normal ones instead. Then you never have the inverted ones to begin with.
