I though I would start a thread to get peoples options on there favorite sense 3.5 Rom.
I think the most common Sense 3.5 ROMs are Magnolia, Incredible 2 HD, and Runnydroid. I will add more if you use somthing else as your daily driver.
Edit: Virtuous affinity,Mikrunny
My favorite Sense 3.5 ROM is incredible 2 HD. It has a lot of added tweaks and is fully functional.
So what's your favorite Sense 3.5
Virtuous affinity although I haven't tried the new build. I'm just not a sense kinda guy.
For sense 3. 5, without a doubt incredible 2 hd is the smoothest Rom. Looks awesome with ICS theme

Lol I actually got to help on that theme. I helped ready and junk long before it got released.
I'm hooked on mikrunny right now. Super smooth, stock kernel, stock speeds, stock theme, using the battery bar to name it minimal up top, and loving it.

It does indeed. I don't use it, but it does have it.
I've been running the Mikrunny ROM for a couple weeks now. I have no complaints at all.
Personally, I find all Sense 3.5 ROMs to be somewhat slow and laggy. For that reason I only run Sense 3.0 and lower and AOSP ROMs. In my experience they are far smoother than Sense 3.5. My personal recommendations are TSM Trinity and Bullet.

Turn off the 3d features in the rosie tweaks. It flies after that. Much faster than 3.0 ever was
Bullet 1.4 by the the best Rom I've tried. Kills ICS. Wouldn't go back ICS even if my phone would let me. LOL. Still no luck on black screen. But this Rom Bullet 1.4 is great its sense 3.0 but I like it better than mikrunny. And I'm a huge fan of newt but he's pretty much gave up incredible 2.

I don't like 3.0 that much becuase it dosnt have the alternate 1*4 weather and clock widget. It's funny though, sense 3.0 was made for dual core phones, and 3.5 was made for single core phones. To think 3.0 would run better

Yeah best way to describe it. I can't run ICS along with what appears to be several others. Nobody can figure it out either. Ive ran all ICS Roms up untill about 2 weeks ago. Tried ICS again. Everytime I turn my screen off goes black and when I try to turn screen back on only the bottom lights come up also Rom runs horrible extremely lagged, never had this problem in the past. Wiped everything even sd card. Only thing I haven't tried is rerooting. May be only hope. Wish I could fix it. Drives me crazy. Oh by the way can run cyanogenmod 7 just fine. Along with all other Roms. Weird.

Not to smash your hopes, but I unrooted, s-off and factory stock (rom and recovery) and it didn't help. As I mentioned before, I'm not sure it is necessary ICS related as this started happing earlier this past summer with a paticular MIUI build. Maybe its the way these ICS roms install.

Cool! Yeah, battery life would definently be a factor, I barely push out 3 hours on what I'm using now.
CM 7 Nightlies.
I'm using the same rom loving the 3.0 lockscreen (synergy rom latest)
My Oreo Evo 4g G-bread
Currently running Synergy RLS1 but I am thinking of taking a look at MikG. I like the Sense 3.0 lock screen and the Sense apps. I have not tried out any AOSP on my Evo but my (deactivated) Hero runs CM7. I may have to check out Deck for the battery life.
I've been looking into MIUI, not quite sure though. I like how It's more simple, and seemingly cleaner. Yet I'm not a big fan of iOS, which it strongly resembles.

Decks Rom gingerbread-evo-deck 1.3b. This is really the only ROM I've had luck with! I've tried just about everyone else's ROMS and I like the Sense ROMS but after about 2 or 3 days or so I start getting FC's for no apparent reason for my phone process, then sense, then android system, etc...
So until I figure out why I am having so much issues with Sense I'll keep using Decks ROM!!
Deck 1.2.1 with Tiamat SBC kernel.
Light, fast, and great battery life.
CyanogenMod 7.1. Like the stripped down feel of it, and seems to run smoother than 7.0.3.
Still some bugs here and there, but it IS still in development.
Synergy's starting to work pretty well, though. Just hate the lag from Sense.

for Sense 3.5, i like MikRunny 1.0.1.. non-Sense 3.5, SkyRaider Zeus 1.3. judging by all the praise these devs earned and their user's comments, imo, these are the cream of the crop and why i chose to use them. no comment on AOSP ROMs, i like my Sense like you do.
I'm also going through several trying to find what I'm the most happy with.
--I tried CM7.2. I wasn't thrilled with the performance and I missed Sense.
--I tried Energized but found too many bugs. I used it for a couple of days and the WiFi, clock, dock, and MMS had issues.
--I tried MikRunny but found it had serious lag. I don't think I ever installed any apps. I moved on to something else quickly.
--I've just installed Magnolia 2.1 Beta 4. The first thing I tried to do was OC to 1.21. It crashed. We will see what else happens.
RC Energized Blue is the best sense 3.5 rom imo. Ran SUPER smooth and battery was amazing.
I forgot about couple other things I didn't like about Energized. The battery only shows 20% blocks. That is too big for me. Also, it doesn't show the level when charging. It only shows it ad being completely dead.
Magnolia 2.1 Beta 4 is looking good so far. He says there is a new theme coming but I don't care about that.

In that same forum there was a mod for 3G and a blue stock battery, which gave 1-100%, not the 20% blocks.
My favorite ROM would be MikRunny. Runs amazing, and even better with the V6 Supercharger.

Best Rom for GSM... This's my felling...
I'm not big on Sense, but my favorite of the ones I've tried is SkyRaider Zeus. Ran very quickly and seemed to fare on the better side in regards to battery life.
IDK what ROM to use?
Cy mod 7- it has a sucky camera and it feels unstable at times
Stock ROM- it can't display all emails and is slow at times
Incredible 2 HD/3D- it is laggy and isn't smooth. I just don't like it in general.
MIUI- I DIDN'T BUY A DROID TO MAKE IT FEEL LIKE AN IPHONE!!!!!!
I really like the stock Rom but why can't I read messages sent from my dear old aunt!!!! And stock has an amazing camera. Cy mod is almost perfect but I like sense and the camera sucks. Anything made be newroot is amazing but very laggy and too much animation. It always feels artificial. MIUI is an ios for android Rom. But if I wanted ios I would have bought an iPhone.
Can anyone help me decide?

Well, if you like cm7, but want a better camera, try the MIUI camera on cm7
Or liquid smooth 3.2, it's aosp with no problems for me, not sure bout the camera but like he said I hear good things bout the miui one, the one in liquid works good for me can't tell a difference between it and sense. If u do choose liquid and want to undervolt u will have to use aeros .7 bfs test build as the stock kernel let's u overclock with the built in application but not undervolt, and if you flash any other kernel other than the one I mentioned it will break sound

i'm either sounding like a broken record, or a fanboy, but SkyRaider Zeus has your request in spades. i share some of your points and tried a few ROMS out, about a week at a time before switching, currently settling on SRZ at the moment. the more i use it, the more hesitant i am to bother trying anything else. i can't find anything to complain about. perhaps in time my opinion will change, but it's doubtful. this ROM continues to amaze. it feels stock Sense, but has all the extras i have been looking for/using in the Market.

Miui is nothing like the iPhone. Have you tried it? Give it a week and sop hating lol. And how is cm 7 not stable.
PS miui with go launcher is the bomb.

Same dilemma here. Aerovan' s cm7 kang with his. 8 kernel is a beast , but the camera (especially indoor, low light) is subpar. Hd 2 is not quite as speedy but it has a great camera and very polished interface (although I hate the 3.5 dialer).

The thing that everyone likes about MIUI the most is the ability to customize every little detail of your theme on the fly. The stock theme does look similar to iphone but it does not run like an iphone.
Try it out with different themes that people made and you'll see exactly why a lot of people like to run it.
Why don't you try a newer rom of newt's? Which version are you running on his Inc 2 HD/3D. You could always try mikrunny and if you don't like the animations, turn them off. Turn off the 3d features, it runs better that way anyway.

Dude... its the best android experince ive ever had. aside from one time when the screen did not wake, its been solid up time for me for the first week running it... more than i can say about my x2.
fwiw, i tried core but did not like it. way too much graphical wizbang... it was slow compared to cm7
What issue did you have with cm7? I just built my own for my phone and didn't have any issues. I do use aeroevan's .7 kernal instead of stock cm7, but i've never had any issues.
I've run miui for the past 6 months with no issues, but i do use aeroevan's .7 bfs kernal. For Sense, I would run Virtuous or Zeus. I recommend using a different recovery too. I really recommend 4ext recovery. It blows cwm out of the water. 4ext has a beta touch recovery that works really well.
Sense: ZEUSSS!!!!
If you're feeling a little daring, ICS.

I simply used Titanium Backup while running MIUI and backed up the camera app. Then I went into my daily driver (which is Liquid Smooth) and restored the backed up MIUI camera app (app only, no data), again using Titanium.
I was running Mikrunny for several weeks, if you're looking for Sense I think it's the best out there. But like another poster said upthread, Liquid Smooth really does live up to its name. Until we get an ICS ROM that's suitable as a daily, I'm sticking with Liquid Smooth.

Not a huge sense fan (used to be). It feels sort of heavy to me. TSM UKB rocks, tho.
PA is way cool, but haven't really gotten over the learning curve yet.
I'll probably go back to CM7 at some point. The Reverend mentioned CCM7 1.5 with aero's .8 was a good build.
The nice thing about flashing constantly is that you learn about options that you never knew existed & often can find ways to make them work on other roms. The downside is that your wife gets pissed cause you're on the phone too much! :banghead:

All i really care about is a working camera and i don't really use fcc. So i'm on 07/30 aero jb ROM. Battery life is phenomenal and i haven't had any issues. I realize that camcorder & fcc doesn't work, but i'm fine with that. Aero's cm9 build worked great too, so i would recommend that for camcorder and FCC. I tried the latest sense based ICS roms and didn't care for them , but that just my opinion.
I loaded up a "final rom flash",even though I've said that a hundred times, I'm running cm9 with aeros .12 kernal without the adreno drivers cooked in. Instead I flashed the ics adreno 200 drivers, along with Google now, agps patch, and its probably my daily until jb gets a little more stable.this combo is solid on my phone. Although any of the ics roms are equal in my eyes in different respects , there all great lol
I've been using Skyraider Zeus for many months now and it has been great! Long battery life and really smooth. I used CM7.2 by CondemnedSoul before Skyraider and that rom is excellent as well
I tried ICS roms but I couldn't live with bugs. I like complete functionality

I didn't know if the adreno drivers that got put into aeros kernel were the same as the ics adreno 200, I really don't know what the difference was and that's what I wanted to see since I thought the other drivers were for jelly bean, I figured the ics ones would be better for ics, but I rarely have graphics issues. Also, would you recommend a kernel with MIUI? I see you're the dev on that one. ; )

If you want stable but don't like stock, I would suggest cm7 (mrom) or the old gingerbread miui (though this may be harder to find unless someone still has it, try rom manager). Ics and jellybean can be iffy since we never got an official release and a proper kernel.

Miui v12.9 is stable with 0.7bfs kernel

Skyraider Zeus is also another stable rom
Condemned CM7.2

I say CM7 (even their latest nightly has a lot of customizations) or Skyraider Zeus (what I am currently running). Although ICS works really well - it has its glitches which could be frustrating for someone who doesn't want to deal with workarounds.
thanks for all the replies! I've got her on miui v4 for now. she likes the miui look and theme options. if she decides she doesn't like it, I'll probably go with cm7.

I'm currently back on Skyraider Zeus, and enjoying the stability and zippy response time, after trying various ICS Roms.
I do miss the HTC trace keyboard and the newer HTC mail app, though.

The gingerbread miui rom with aeroevans .7 kernel is nice as stated above. The only real feature missing that newer gingerbread roms have is swipe to dismiss notifications.

Good topic. After getting bored with Cm 7.2 stable, I'm using de-sensed Viper 1.3.1, but I thinking about trying MROM. This is my work phone and Viper doesn't play nice with the device administrator security settings.
I'll miss ICS, but I won't miss having to enter my password to answer a phone call!

+1 for Skyraider Zeus, got an iPhone and I gave my DI2 to my mom threw Skyraider on it because I didn't want to have to talk her through clearing data to make camera's work and I used it for two days while the new phone was in the mail and forgot why I stopped using it. One of the smoother/fast roms and the battery life is amazing. Easily double what I got on Viper's.

Agree with this. Although I've only tried CM7 because I'm all about battery life and stability. MROM does that and more. The UI is clean and everything is zippy. It really gets the most out of this phone. Who needs ICS or Jellybean when you have a kickass rom like this?

totally agree with you. I've had a droidx for a few years and have stuck with the gb roms the whole way. I've tried all the ics ones, but they all have their issues, even if it's just battery life. every once in awhile I even flash a froyo rom and love it...

MROM
Incredicontrol overclocked to 1.3GHz
Zeppelinrox's V6 Supercharger and Kick Ass Kernelizer scripts
Flawless functionality, battery life, and stability.
Theme it however you want.
Good luck with the phone! It's a good one that is overlooked.
-MROM on DInc2

I have run this rom with and without the scripts, I don't see much if any difference. You don't have to use those if you don't want to. And you don't need an app to overclock, it has that in settings. But you can use that to undervolt and change I/o's. As phonetool stated, this rom runs really well on this phone. Give it a shot.

I had been using DKStunna's Global 10.1 JB ROM build 3 as my DD for a few months and it was mostly stable. It would lag out once in a while I was managing apps, but it was pretty fast with the built-in Nova Launcher. I got tired of not having a working camcorder and since DKStunna broke his Vivow and ceased development I decided to switch to ChillyBean's ParanoidAndroid/PAC 2.19 ROM. So far it's been awesome! It has "inverted" GAPPS, Facebook, and some other core system apps, which I'm not a fan of, but it's supposedly something you can change. I have a working camcorder again (after a few tweaks), which is what I was looking for. It looks like ChillyBean broke his Vivow also so I don't know how much more development he'll be able to do, which is very sad. Anyway, I highly recommend the latest ParanoidAndroid.

You don't have to change anything for the inverted gapps. Just flash the normal ones instead. Then you never have the inverted ones to begin with.
