[Request] Pic Request [White SGS II w/ Cases]

Still deciding on either black or a white SGS II...
Can some folks please post some pics of their white SGS II's with cases...

In my opinion, white S2 goes well with light color case so black would not be for me.
I love silver/chrome case for the white S2, it just matches!

That looks really nice, one of the reasons i decided to keep my black Sgs2 one over my white one was that all the cases i had at the time just looked better on the black. But me likes the white and chrome look

Waiting for my white S2 in the mail, I was wondering what case that is I looked on ebay for awhile found some that may be it but not sure.
If you could hook me up with a link to that case that would be perfect it looks mint!

Yup me too having black sgs2. Should have wait longer

i have the white one with white cover. now the white cover looks dirty yellowish >_<

Went out for a meal tonight and there were 12 of us. Three of us have SGS2's, and one of the girls has a white one so I took some photos. I still prefer the black, but the white looks cool.

White Galaxy S2

For all the other people that have received one, does anyone notice that their menu lights have an illuminating affect around it? It doesn't look as clean as the black ones because it just doesn't glow in on the menu icons but all around it.

Yes i notice that on my friends white sgs2..light leakage perhaps?? Or the fact that its white led simply reflecting off the white colored casing of the phone?

I just got my white one too, haven't seen anything wrong with it other than the buttons glowing thing but I'm going to try that test thing for the lines and blobs. I really hope I don't have it

No lines or blobs on mine. The white looks real good and gets a lot of attention. The back has a real nice gloss to it as well.

Looks awesome! Shame that they had to place the Samsung on the bottom, always looks so cramped for you T-Mobile Users.

Looks like it is. Its a nice change from the soft black cover. I can't wait to get the white parts now!
It'll definitely be a new phone for sure. Just hope the white LED screens don't have the lines/blobs the black ones do.

Recieved mine yesterday. Love the white color. The capacitive buttons on the bottom glow slightly because of the white. I dont mind it. Has 2.3.5 and today tmobile sent a request to update the software i believe its 2.3.6. There are no headphones with the white version... Check out tje unboxing..

Yeah, Tmobile stopped putting headsets at the beginning of the month. You would think that a $600 phone would come with one. I'm glad I bought mine on release because mine came with one and they are really nice.
I'm jealous now, I want the white version!

I can make out the lines on the screenshot of the phone keypad. Really hard to notice since the sticker is in the way and the brightness isn't low enough, but it's there.

Just got mine today I notice the screen isn't as crisp as it should be I owned the Droid charge and everything just popped on this it looks kinda wash like the motorola displays nothing like the charge. It is the same display isn't it? When the screen is off I can clearly see a foggy residue under the screen.

Wish they would have released the white version with the black version so I could have gotten that one instead. I love my SGS II regardless of it's color but the white version is a real attention-grabber.

Damn, that's pretty f'n sweet..!! Not like that bull**** Droid Razr with just white on the sides. FAIL!!

Trying to get mine through Tmobile retentions but apparently they are out of stock of the black and white with no estimate on new ones coming in... Sad.

Wish I had waited. I am guessing that the material of the device is not solid enough to stop the light from shinning through. I don't think its a problem, but if it is you can contact Customer Care and they might have some idea on whats going on. Dude, you have a White SGSII which almost everyone here is pissed about not having. Be happy!

never been a fan of white myself and have always chosen black. I don't have one yet (waiting for stock) but that blue looks damn fine in my opinion. I bet the white looks awesome as well but I like the darker color.

Same here - really wanted black, but went with white because I didn't much like the fake brushed-metal pattern on the blue and its purplish home button. Nothing a case can't mostly hide, though.

The back of the white looks better.
The front is a toss up... they both look lovely... until one of the capacitive or notification LEDs lights up on the white phone.
The white version has light leak around the leds... makes it look cheap.
I would recommend blue + aftermarket back

I want the blue and voted for it but I saw a white and black case on a white model and it looked pretty darn good. I think it was a case-mate case. If they have a white one available, then I'll decide then. Either way, a case is going on it, so really, what does it matter?

Peebble blue with Samsung blue Flip case looks very professional. Im loving it.

Ordered and received Blue (read: butt ugly purple) and hated it... It's a blue'ish purple, the back cover is a different color and the button is a different color... This thing has 3 different shades of blue / purple on it... Really Samsung??
Posted an ad on Craigslist in LA for a trade and actually found someone! Woohoo.. Now I have white and am pleased..
If the blue was all one color it might look better but the 3 different shades makes it one of the ugliest looking things I have ever seen... Hope they fix it and devices manufactured later won't suffer from it..

Thanks, this helped me make up my mind. I would have preferred white but since I rater being very careful as opposed to using cases I don't want to see light leaks. :good:

really? your capacitive buttons only show the back/menu images in darkness? stand with your phone in a dark room and tell me the buttons aren't 3x brighter than the screen. they don't dim which is pretty annoying.

First off... They should have offered Black. Which is what I would have wanted. I chose white because the blue didn't appeal to me at all.. I like the non-visible buttons, doesn't show scratches or fingerprints as easily, and i've always had an easy time reselling white phones.. Either way I love the phone, and look forward to modding the hell out of it. Already had several Apple sheep admit their jealousy..

The more I use my phone in different light, the more I realize I have a purple phone. The back is the most blue part, but the sides and front are straight up purple in most light, especially natural light. I have also noticed that, in certain light, the front of the phone is the same exact color as the home button. It still looks very nice and, imo, much better than white. I would have chosen black if it was available. Imagine this thing in black chrome instead of purple chrome. Drool.

Red and black nexus 5

So I cracked my black nexus 5 32gb since I refuse to have a case because it makes the phone too bulky. For the longest I have time I have wanted the red nexus so it was time to experiment. The screen replacement cost 130 on eBay took like 10 minutes to replace. Now since I had to wait I actually found a red nexus mint for super cheap and had to make a choice. The red and white nexus is more slippery due to plastic back and I don't know if I could sell the red and black for 400 since its kinda custom. Anyway turned a negative into a positive actully made a nice profit breaking my phone.
Let me know what you think and is there like a cover that sticks to the back like the nexus 4 had.

The lack of quality makes it look better because my back gets dirty and smudges all the time and looks kinda faded. My goal was to do this to sell it but don't think it would sell for over 400. Anyway ordered a red spigen slim case for it just so I don't crack this one

Fully aware that the thread is a month old, but I just ordered a black back cover on eBay for my red Nexus to do the same thing. The red Nexus is just to slippery for my taste.
How much less slippery does the phone feel when handled?
I'm a bit worried that the red frame contributes a large part to that slippery feeling.
Just curious and eagerly waiting for my back cover to arrive ..

I have the black and ordered the red back plate just because I like the red.. going to switch between them I think depending on my mood.. when it is in I will post the result

So, I had the red Nexus 5. When I've cracked the screen, I accedently ordered the screen+frame of the white Nexus 5. In the first week it looked awesome but now I miss the red frame. I think about taking the glass out of the glossy black frame and put it in the red one. I just need a sucker tool and some glue.

More than likely, it won't work.

I liked this idea and did the same to my black N5. The only difference is the addition of a rinkge slim case. Over all I'm pretty pleased with the effect.

What Color Are You Getting?

I opted for the Coral Blue. I'm tired of black and silver phones. I saw the way it looked in MKBHD's first impressions video and thought it looked amazing. I will admit that the black (on black on black) looks really stealthy and cinematic though.

I would have chosen the coral blue as it looks great. But it's not currently being offered in Australia. I struggled to choose between the Onyx Black & Gold Platinum. In the end I went with the Gold Platinum as my Galaxy S6 edge is the same colour and I think it looks nice and a bit more premium. That being said, the Onyx Black looks sleek as hell and I would be happy with either colour.

Titanium silver.
Its one of , if not the best looking device Ive seen along with the S7.

Coral Blue if possible. But it looks like a US model only. So the Onyx Black is the next choice.
I'm generally not a fan of Black smartphones because it's so common. But this looks so sexy.

I went with the coral blue. There's no better option. I had the gold S7, platinum S7 Edge and the black looks too simple honestly.

I loved it until I went to the store and saw it in person. It's basically a mirror. Fingerprints galore and takes on the color of anything around. I was set on that color so I'm glad I went in the store first. Just a small tip!
I ended up with black because of the deepness of it and it's more of a matte color. The others are all very shiny and reflective.

Apple thought so too. The iP7 is introducing Space Black. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing for us black Note7 owners.

With a case wrapped around mine, not sure if the Titanium Silver (which is what I chose) will matter for me... All four cases I bought are some version of black or dark. Maybe I didn't 'zactly think this one through...

I generally get cases with some form of gold in it, and with all those cases the edge is black. With my typical gold color phones, I get this mash of gold and black in the front...now I'm tired of that look so I'm getting black.
Maybe the note 9 will get silver, I saw the blue in the store....it didn't call out to me as much as the pictures did online.

I went with the Titanium Silver as I've had Black Galaxy phones before and to me look dull, thought the black S-pen looks awesome. I am not a fan of the color blue, so didn't even cross my mind.. The silver will look great with this case as its shown in the picture....

Ive always liked Black Samsung phone, but that silver Samsung sign on the front is so hideous imo.

After visiting Best Buy and seeing the silver completely covered with thousands of fingerprints I'll get the black.

That's some solid advice haha, fingerprints are just the worst...

Went with the Black Onyx. Played with one at Best Buy and fell in love with the all black finish. Like a nice HD TV.

Well I'm going with the fingerprint magnet. Always had black so I thought silver would be a nice change. A case and a screen protector will help with the prints.

Went for the coral blue, last two phones were white (note 2 & 3). Probably would've went for gold if it was offered in the US but I just ordered a cherry leather case and I'm unsure on how'd it contrast with a blue phone.

I'm leaning towards the Coral Blue (since my 6P is awesome Silver), but haven't made a final decision until I check it in person...

Went with the silver titanium didn't see the blue in person but it has rose gold around the edge so I'm not interested. Black I've had my reasoning is I can have the silver if I want to change it I can put a black decal on it like a skin or a wood skin or a black case.

Ordered both the Black and Blue, I handle the phones form my company so I can play with them both and decide which one I like better... if at all as I'm not sure I'm ready to give up my Nexus 6P
