Is it possible to play an entire song as a ringtone, or is the phone limited to playing the first few seconds of the song and then repeating?
I suppose it depends how long the song is. I'd imagine that with a song longer than 10-20 secs, you'd get cut off by your provider with a "can't connect" message.
In my case, my ringtone is 45 secs, but I only get about halfway before it stops.

Mine plays the first 10 seconds of the song and then loops. Wondering how to get it to play the whole song. The carrier can adjust how many rings before it goes to voice mail.

When getting a message the notification sound is very brief. Is there a way to extend or loop? I even added a mp3 and it only plays literally 3 secs of it.

Is there a ringtone time limit on the Arc? My custom ringtones seem to be cutting off at a certain time. If so, is there any way to bypass the limit?
after a certain time ?? how much time ??
my is fine .. i just use a beep sound for notification .. but i will try a full mp3 to see if there is a limit !
I believe it cuts off at either 15 or 20 seconds. Any other help is appreciated...
Not sure bout time limit but ringdroid will let u cut a section of a mp3 to set as ring tone so ya can cut the intro music and just start in the middle.
Hope that helps

It depends on your network, most networks support up to 30 seconds. If you are with O2 I can get you the code to extend the ringtime before it diverts to voicemail.
Hey all.
This is a rather odd question, I've encountered this problem a few times after the 4.1.1 update.
My music sometimes randomly pauses when I pressed home or switched to another app for the Play Music app. For example, if a friend sent me a text and I opened the text app, it pauses.
More often it pauses when I press the home key, I don't know what can be the cause of the problem, I don't have the time or the resources to reflash.
Anyone can offer solutions? Thanks
So its not really a huge issue but I would appreciate it if its fixed, so I am checking if anyone else is experiencing this.
There is a pop sound that is pretty clear (higher than the keyboard tap sound) everytime I do anything that will produce voice, like for example typing on the keyboard.
It pops up and everything is sounding good and then when I don't do anything that has to do with sound for about 5 seconds another pop sounds happen but is lower.. And then, first key tap brings up the pop sound again.
Its more like the speaker is activated so it pops in and then deactivated when not used so it pops out.. Like when you plug headphones to the computer for example, it is that sound.
It became annoying after a while so I had to disable the keyboard tap sound at least not to get that everytime I start writing something and especially annoying in chats where you get to pause between writing so you get to have the pop every other line.
If anyone is experiencing this, please cool my heart off cause that might mean its a software thing.
Thank you

So recently everytime I get the annoying orange highlight bar around text on these apps, there's a loud beeping noise. I don't know how to disable it and it does it even in silent mode. Also it disrupts and cuts off music playback. Sometimes it'll do it on the browser as well. Anybody know what it is?
