As the title states lets see what is important to us. You can only pick one thing, that's the point. I know we kinda like the whole package but that's too easy.
Edit:
If the Soft Nav Buttons are your thing pick ICS Flagship.

Maybe we could put that under ICS Flagship, can't seem to edit the poll.
There's a bunch. Love the shape. Love the screen, faults and all. But for me, it's a Nexus and the flagship for the OS that puts Android--in my opinion--over the top.
GNex looks sexy
4.65 in super amoled plus HD god I just love the name of it...
My fav. Feature is ics itself. So sexy and smooth

The resolution by far.
Looking at any other phone looks silly in-comparison for the sheer lack-luster resolution alone.
being able to screen grab without needing to root the device. I guess that would be flagship ICS right?
Being able to make peoples jaw drop at seven eleven. Love NFC+google wallet.

Sounds great to me. ICS is pretty awesome, can't wait till it gets spread around some more so the rest of world can see how great Android can be.

The awesome feature of the keyboard disappearing in the middle of typing a text lol. Only kidding, I think the best feature is the looks, and the instant pics

The camera? Me thinks the camera on the SGN is very laggy and hard to use. I've have two SGNs and on both the camera makes is a classic "blurrycam."
I think my Blackberry Bold had a better camera.

Check out the Pics thread a couple slots down. People can take some amazing pictures with this camera if you know what you are doing.
It was a touch choice, but I picked ICS Flagship. I chose the Nexus because I liked that while my phone will fall behind hardware wise in a few months, the software will always stay current. After the T-Mobile/Vibrant fiasco, this was really important.
The screen is a very close second. I love AMOLED and the size of the screen. Also like the warm color tone. Reading with the Kindle app and in night mode is really easy on the eyes.

It isn't a 'plus' display. It's an HD Super AMOLED. 'Plus' displays have an RGB matrix, while our phone has a PenTile matrix.
That being said, the screen is probably my favorite feature. The sheer resolution is amazing.
Hi. I ordered a galaxy nexus for my brother from expansys and received it today. The screen on it is not nearly as good as the one on my own device. The colors are really washed out and the greys are green. It seems like the gamma is really turned up. I rooted and flashed aokp and tried adjusting the colors and gamma but if you try lowering the green gamma settings, the whole screen turns green. Is there anything I can do? If not, Does anyone have any experience doing exchanges with expansys? I'll unroot and relock the phone of course. Any help would be appreciated

I had one with a washed out screen as well. Return it, it is defective.

Thanks for the replies. I'll contact them. Did any of you buy one from expansys? Just want to know how they are with this stuff

i would definitely try to exchange it, if you can't then use a kernel with gamma control such as leankernel or glados (which i'm currently using), adjustable by editing sys/devices/platform/omapdss/manager0/gamma
mine has the washed out screen issue and editing gamma to 7 or higher makes it much better looking, but not perfect (still a lot of purple at low brightness)
Please refer to the defective screen sticky in the Q&A section, that can be found here, or one of the other threads in the General section already discussing screen defects.
I was playing with my friends gs3 today. And the colors look so much better. But after looking at specs on gsmarena.com and it shows the same screen technology. Is it just a color gamma setting that can be corrected or are they actually different screens ? I love my nexus and want to holds off until the next nexus bit the screen on that phone is amazing

It's as if the colors and the screen pops more up while ours looks great but not as popped up and more in depth and concave sort of way. As if there is a grainy screen that's all like gauss covering the screen. Why did they opt for a cheaper crappier screen on the GNex?

Natural looking colors on gnex. Think it's better.

I love the sgs3s screen better. Due to it being more vibrant and bright!

Color profile perhaps?

Ya, pentile sucks. My og dinc's screen looked better as far as colors go. But it gets the job done, which for me is displaying everything this [email protected]%&ing awesome phone can do

Yes, the SGS3's screen is also pentile, note the lack of plus at the end of Super AMOLED HD.
Different colour profile, different Q/A requirements (Have you noticed that there is very little black in touchwizz UX, maybe to avoid the low brightness blacks become purple issue).
Tweaks made to the panels and manufacturing process after doing them in blunk for the gnexus?
All of the above?
Your guess is as good as mine

You do realize this link is irrelevant to the topic at hand, right?
Anyway, I have had my phone next to my friends S3 and with the color tweaks on the GNEX I did not notice any difference. Stock GNEX screen, sure it looks horrible. My GNEX looks 10x better then any stock GNEX screen as well.
I would say quality control. Samsung took the time to perfect the S3's colors. I love my screen and it's vibrant and all that. Granted I've never compared the two.

What tweak are you using? Trinity or franco kernel with color profiles?

Trinity colors FTW!
Try it. Screen of GNex looks way better than SGS3!
SGS screens are poorly calibrated. Over saturated, over sharpened, etc.
Some people apparently like that.

Agreed.
Believe it or not there is a point where too much saturation is bad. It starts to look entirely unnatural. I'm happy where the saturation levels are at with my Nexus currently, still more vibrant than any LCD screen, but not to the point where everything looks like someone took the saturation dial and cranked it to max.

I got got my nexus 7 LTE the other day and after using my galaxy note 8.0 for months the screen on the nexus just looks dull to me.
Is there any way to adjust the contrast, color, tint to maybe make it a little more vibrant or do I just need to let my eyes adjust to the difference in the two models?
Thanks....
