Okay...I still can't post in the ROM's thread, so I'm having to post here again...I'm trying to restore from my Titanium backup..and it starts..does about 4 apps..then pops back to the PA boot screen. I don't know how to view the logs, so someone would have to tell me how to do that to see what's going on...but it's strange. The only good part is that the apps DO seem to be coming back, but I'm going to have to basically perform something like 25 restore/reboot loops to get my stuff back. It's an odd problem, so if someone can help me log it, maybe they can post for me in the dev thread so the guys can actually see it.
It looks like it happens every time after the 6th app is restored...it goes 6/84(or whatever number...starts 7/84, then quickly reverts back to 6 then reboots. But's it's an incredibly fast reboot--almost like a "respring" on iPhone, if you will.
You have a kernel panic most likely. Are you restoring user apps only, or system apps too?

Also, I restored 85 user apps with no problem in PA.

Interesting, I'm only restoring user apps as well, but it happened every single time. I finally got them all moved, but just thought it was strange.
These posts should really be in the Q&A section
Thank you for the hint, but did you read the first part of the post? I'll post it there as soon as I can, now that stating the obvious has put me over the limit to post there.

The one where you said you couldn't post in the DEV section?
Nobody told you to do that. It was suggested you post in the Q&A section where this thread belongs.
You don't need a minimum amount of posts to post in the Q&A sub-forum here.

See the new user guide in my sig, the best place to 'collect' your 10 posts is by answering questions in your device's Q&A section. You shouldn't find that difficult at all if you have something to post in a dev forum. Any 10 post spam will almost always get reported so there's no point trying to make useless OT posts just to get there.

Is it just me, or am I seeing more and more ROM's that are CM9/10 and AOKP/AOSP based being put in the development section instead of the original section where they belong?
Would asking a MOD to move them to the proper section be asking for trouble? I am just curious because it is cluttering up section and making it hard to find things...

The way I see it, they are technically Android Development, as are all the ROMs in the original section. And, they are technically not original projects since they are heavily based on someone else's work. Ideally we would have a sub section for Stock and a sub section for AOSP/CM based ROMS, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
I do feel your pain though. The Android section is getting to be quite a mess.

Well that's the thing, original development is for the AOKP/AOSP and CM9/10 ROMS and Android Development is for the TW based ROM's be they stock or otherwise. It is so confusing...
I personally believe that all AOSP based ROMs should go in Original Development and all TouchWiz based ROMs should go in Android Development.

Please don't get me wrong. I love any dev that is putting new stuff out. But.... When they are putting stuff in the wrong section, it is confusing and bothersome.
Only original development IMO is CyanogenMod and AOKP everything else is based or a copy of those two.
I'm referring to ROMs not tools or kennels.

NO. Original development is for Original work. Just taking CM source and compiling it is not original work. The Official CM ROMs and first AOKP ROMs ONLY go in Original Development. Everything else goes in regular development. There is a sticky in Original Development explaining more.

We can't start breaking down ROMs by aosp, tw, etc. Mopar, that's just too much for the admins. *Most* of the time, they are labeled and if not, users will just have to read for themselves (like they need to be doing anyway). If you guys feel like something is out of place, then you can pm any one of us in this section, and we'll go over it.

I have an idea to make sure noobs read the OP. Instead of a capcha to access the DL there should be a randomly inserted question based on the OP to get the DL link. If you answer the question wrong you can't retry for 10 mins, answer it wrong more then 3x can't DL for 24hrs so they have time to re read
I like to break stuff!

We definitely need to do something about the new guys and everyone else not following rules and posting in the wrong sections. Just in the past week, I have seen probably 30 posts get moved from General to QA. As well as new members trying to be internet gangsters when the get called out on their crap. I personally feel like punishments should be a bit more strict not just as a punishment for the person with the infraction but to save other users from having to deal with the crap that is getting dished out. I see a potential for a ton of good things in the future and I have a ton of ideas for structuring how things are handled. It is obvious that we have a lot more average users than we do admins/mods, maybe having a few more would benefit everyone and setting up a sort of system to make it easier for those mods and admins to keep things organized. I personally have had people tell me that I should look into being a mod because i don't take crap from anyone and I normally don't act like a flipping idiot when responding to the top tier morons that want to act stupid for attention. If a mod wants to contact me about my ideas and such, please feel free to do so.

You can put all the suggestions and questions you have all right here:

I agree with the advantage of having more Mods and Admins, but you need to be careful about having too many. I've seen too many other communities die because of admin bickering and the admins getting really egotistic.
Also, I knew where you were going gray, before you finished the fourth sentence. Maybe a bit more subtle with your plugs, eh?

Something kind of along these lines was implemented into the JusTunBean inverted apps thread ages ago.
He was getting fed up with all the members who weren't reading the OP and continued to ask stupid questions so he asked other RCs what we could do.
An idea was suggested to hide a password in the OP somewhere. Once the password had been found, the member had to enter the password into an app which would then provide them with a download link.
The password was broken down into three parts and placed randomly in the OP but it would be clear which words were part of the password and which ones weren't.
It's just a shame that he removed the password because too many idiots were asking for it/moaning about it.
Just curious if anyone was working on AOSP?
Yes. Please read the threads that are stickied before posting something like this. It's also in the wrong section But yeah, someone is working on it, no idea about ETA, don't ask that question. Why yes I did, but all they are is people saying stop asking. I don't see any actual answers or what is missing. I am not asking for ETA's or anything like that, this isn't my first day. But it just seems like this phone is about dead on the development side. The ATT seems to have much more of a following.

We have a lot of great devs and they work really hard behind the scenes they just don't like to be bugged or asked a lot. Thanks for being mature about this thread unlike some others. Yes it's on it's way, yes our devs are working hard. All we can do is let them work
As for what's missing I'm not the best to ask but up until know I'm pretty sure we were waiting on JB source, which just dropped last week
What's not working: nfc, GPS, camera, issues with efs & screen shadowing
Can we go one day? Just one day without a thread like this.

The server sometimes takes a while to catch up - give it a few hours and if the posting restrictions haven't lifted by then PM an admin who can look into it further
Edit: Also you spammed your way to 10 posts by posting useless posts such as "thanks!" and "love it!" so your posts have been deleted and account permissions reset.
Actually also I think that it doesn't suppose to be like this... I'm a bad example but let's say I want to give my contribute to a Dev thread and i'm not interested in other stuff rather than development I just get stuck and I cannot help
