Voice commands - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Anyone able to successfully use the voice commands?
Particularly answer the phone by saying "answer" or "reject"

Nope..

Hmmm. Wonder why these commands don't work

I tried them with music playback and it worked pretty well.

The voice command "shoot" in the camera app works beautifully. It's really convenient when I'm holding the camera in a weird position for that perfect shot and I can't maneuver my fingers over to the shoot button.

I can get some of them to work. But I can never get the answer or reject voice command for phone calls to work.

Message while answering a call

So every time I receive a call I hit answer but then a very nice computer woman tells me "incoming call from ______ press 1 to accept". Which is very annoying. This problem had stayed with me across multiple ROMs so I'm assuming it isn't ROM related. It first started on goodness, and I have had it with me through anakonda, cm9, nocturnal venum, and now aokp. Anyone have this?

Go to Svoice click menu>settings>control apps. Either completely turn it off or just turn off incoming calls

At&t visual voicemail!

I cant seem to get past the password screen I know its correct password and yes I even reset it! Anyone else get it working ?

Got mine working... I kept trying to use the password for my account... then I was trying to use my passcode... then I remembered my voicemail password from 5 years ago was completely different...
Had same problem. Worked for me when I disabled wifi and set up att visual voice mail using my cellular data connection. Try cleaning app data in app manager and open att visual app using only cellular connection. Should work then.

Also, if you use the stock AT&T Messages app it integrates visual voicemail but you loose the ability to save voicemails as .amr audio files.
Instead you have to go to https://messages.att.net/ to save your voicemails as audio files.
Using the website is like Google Voice so you can see all your voicemails including text and incoming/outgoing call logs.
Thanks for this post. I didn't even know visual voicemail was supported!
I wasnt talking about att messages app- just to be clear it is visual voicemail app in play store that att crap sucks

The only way that I know of to deactivate googke voice is through the website and not the app.

I don't see any options in AT&T Visual Voice that allows you to same messages as .amr files.
Ugh, it was there a month ago. Maybe they removed that feature?

That's the one I downloaded. It looks and operates just like AT&T Messages. You might want to avoid downloading the newer copy.

Tmobile S3 question

I have a sprint S3, my buddy just got a s3 and is on Tmobile while showing him some stuff on his phone I noticed they have a setting for wifi calling in there settings.. It allows him to use his data connection to receive and make calls when he has low cellular signal. I can't find this anywhere on the sprint version. This would be extremely helpful at work when I have no signal.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
That is only natively available on T-mobile phones. I wish it was available for us too, that would be cool.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Would it be possible to port it? Or is there an app that would do the same thing?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
I've never done it, but there's a way to do it with a combination of Google Voice and a VOIP app.
As far as porting it, I'm not a device so I wouldn't know. I think it has more to do with how t-mobile handles it rather than something that's actually on the phone.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
I actually do have Google voice integrated what voip app would I need?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
Any ideas?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
Only app I know of that would be useful here is groove ip. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.snrblabs.grooveip&hl=en
Ok if i have the sprint integration of Google voice on my phone? and i download Groove i should be able to use my cell number over wifi?
*on a side note what is the advantages of google voice with sprint integration?
I feel like I saw that feature on ICS and then it went away in JB.

As soon as you dial a number and the phone connects, you should be able to see an icon that looks like a spectrum eq on the top left.
You can touch it and it will give you an option to choose the HD voice you want.
But if you turn the speaker-phone on, it will turn that feature off.
The bottom icon on can also be touched and it will activate voice filter.
