Hey,
I've got my HOX for about 2 months now and it hasn't give me any problems until now. I've come to work in Brazil for two months and somehow the watch of the HOX doesn't seem to work properly.. Actually I believe the problem is in the HTC clock widget, since it's the one that is wrong.
I've tried any way that I've remember to solved this but nothing worked. I'm running a non rooted device (I haven't tried anything yet).
Any ideas how to solve this, because the alarm clock sometimes it works properly other times it doesn't and I really need an working alarm clock..
Thanks!
since you have moved to Brazil the clock widget is still configured for the country you previously lived in so you should remove the widget and put it again but now choose the city you live in in Brazil
hope i helped.

I've tried that and it didn't work, I think it assumes that the city I'm in now has different time zone and I can't change that... So it's always an hour late. (I could change the city but then the weather would be wrong..)
I have exactly the same problem. HTC Clock widget is one hour behind. Found any fix for that?

Hi all,
does anyone know why my system clock keeps resetting to default american time zone setting? I have been resetting it to my time zone for 4 days every day in a row and i have that phone only since 4 days!!
cheers
resetting clock...
Hi. When i first got my HTC P3300, it did the same every time i syncronised it, i called the sales man and he said it wat an error from Microsoft..
I think there is an update that solves it...
Hovever you can just mark the clock as "Visit" instead of "home", then the problem is solved (i´m not sure its called Visit and home because i run the Danish version of VM5)
Best regards MicTh
This is a know issue.
Set both timezones(Home and away) to the same timezone.
This should fix the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem,
I set me alarm for example at 8:30am, the silly thing rings at 7:30am.
This has happened to me for a few days now. i don't know how this problem came about, i have not installed anything or changed anything with the handset since it was working fine.
Also i have turned the alarms off and the handset still rings at the time i set before.
I tried changing the time and it still rings at the original time set.
This is bugging me as every morning my phone rings at a specific time with 3 alarms 5 minutes apart.
I have tried to replicate this problem by setting the alarm an hour ahead with 5 mins to spare (to the actual time) and the alarm does not ring :S
i am so confused with this problem and if anyone can help it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks guys n gals
I will go out on a limb here and guess that you have the timezone incorrect. Check to see that your time is set to the correct time zone, i.e. pacific/central/ eastern/ mountain here in America. Not sure of your Location. Let me know but I am pretty sure thats your problem
Hi thanks for the reply,
My timezones are set correct GMT London, and visiting time zone is correct also, i tried to solve the problem by setting this to London also. This did not work.
i am using the version of WM6 B&B.

Which version of B&B?
Activesync?
If the time changes after u sync, check to see if the time zone in ur PC is also same
B&B version 4.0
and the timezone on PC is also correct
The sync does not effect the time
thank you
Every so often the weather city resets to London, perhaps it's restart thing, a bit irritating really

PLease refine your problem. When does it reset?
It isn't like the other city's are still in there, but you have to swipe up or down to get the other cities?
Have you deleted London? and then it jumps back on?

If I set the city to Dublin where I live, it reverts occasionly to London. Deleting London didn't help, it came back again. It could be something I did, but I don't think so.
The only thing I can think of now is a hard reset. Maybe there wen't something wroing while setting up the rom and thus touchflow 3d. Weird problem though.
Hope, if it's touchflow 3d, they fix it soon.
Who knows what HTC has done in terms of automation... Perhaps the weather app is now tied in with your GPS location and until you get a GPS signal established it will keep reverting back to the default??
This is just me thinking out loud.
Mines working fine but then again i went in and deleted ALL he cities straight away coz they bug the heck out of me then started adding the places i wanted and visit... might be what causes it to work

I bet your right, doesnt the calender show the weather also. try getting a gps fix after re-deleting it
Hi,
Correct me if im wrong but doesnt the TP2 automatically add Your time zone (aka GMT -London) to weather? So if you add a couple of clocks say London and New York, Then the weather will add London and New York as well.
Does seem a bit silly if you cant stop it defaulting back to London for GMT though.
so can you set the home screen weather to be anywhere in the country??

Grrrr! It did it again, no reset, just normal use. I've deleted London, Paris, Tokyo and all the other places that are meant to make me think I'm part of some glamourous celb lifestyle thing. So we'll see what happens next!
Mine work just fine.try changin it at the home screen and weather panel and see if it still does the same

That's what I did. I thought it might be because the time zone is "London, Dublin, Edinburgh".
I really don't want to know that other people are having nicer weather than me
just erporting mine does not do this at all
Guys, I have problem... with city that is not in the base... any program that I tried that works fine for diamond doesn't work for TP2... touch flo just restarts when I add Durham to the base and go to touch flo weather pad it just restarts touch flo.... I tried many things...like disabling Touch flo and them editing the base... ect... but it just seems it is different with other phones( did anyone successfully added city that is not in the list?
see the wether app thread in the software section
pro2 keeps reseting to london because of igo8. just try it. change to your city, start igo8, exit it and voila, it reseted to london, except if you already have london.
bye
I had this problem too -London weather showing at the bottom of my calender Though not my preferred city. The fix I found requires a registry change. HKCU\\Software\HTC\Manila\Weather.CityList. There is a default list of cities there. I simply added a accuweather compatible code for my preferred city and calender has been well behaved since.
Also happening to me... resolved it by re-arranging the city and moving my base city as #1 in the list...
just move to London chaps - problem solved
Same issue also GMT London setting . I fixed problem going to Settings/personal/phone. Select the GSM/UMTS Services tab , On that tab is Time synchronization , From there select "automatic change time zone and clock".
hey guys,
My Desire HD had no problems until now..The weather widget cant display my current location's weathers information..I have no idea what to do...Can anyone help????!
Yes, the same thing has happened to me. It must be a HTC server thing.
It has happened every once in a while recently - if you google the issue, you will see that there are rushes of comments over time, linked presumably to when HTC's servers aren't running 100%
I'm encountering the same issue, I think it might be related to the last update I received to 1.84.207.2 (O2, Germany). Also Weather Bug doesn't work or Fancy Widget. It seems like there's something wrong with the location Service. I have the impression that "current location" is broken.
I'm encountering same problem The bug started yesterday.
It's an HTC problem. Everyone's weather is all over the place.
Yes,me and my friends have the same problemthats not only on the Desire HD,Wildfire,HD2 Users have the Problem too.
Mine Stopped working last night but it's resolved itself this morning.
Same issue in Paris...
it will sound stupid and i apologize but am not so unhappy about the weather widget.
i recently rooted and installed a custom rom and i thought that the weather widget had some kind of an issue.....
anyways, there are possibilities that it's not working but i just hope....
Cheers !!!
Same issue in Poland, just add manually your location in the meanwhile. Only "Current location" doesn't work
spoke too fast i guess.
it was the widget after all. a forum user sent me this patch (probabl for revolution rom? idk) installed it and voila. weather is sunny in greece.
the current location works and it actually tells my city (woah)
Cheers !!!
try revolution ROM's fix for weather update?
this really pisses me off. current and other locations don't work since the update. how come? what to do? how to fix? wtf?!
no one knows?!
[Solved] Weather Widget not working
This might not be the answer to everyones weather widget problem but I've just discovered that the Google Voice Search update was stopping mine from working. I just uninstalled it and blam, it's all good again.
i wasn´t listened anything about this issue..... in valencia (spain) flip&clock works perfect
when shows me current location, i refresh the weather and solves it. if not solves... i put the location manually.... :-S
Hi, I've noticed that after 1.1. 2013, the time on my Touch Pro 2 keeps getting messed up. For example, it's 12:27. On my phone, it's 14:27. Every time I adjust the time manually, it updates back to wrong time within an our or less. I tried changing my GMT (the correct one is GMT+1, but it changes too plus it changes time of my appointments.
I am not the only one with this problem, my friend keeps getting three hours forward instead of two like I do.
Any solutions to this problem, please?

Time on the phone should be provided over and synced to the network. Have you called your provided to see if they are having any issues with their network/servers?

I've heard some GSM provider's flat-out don't do this... So if the OP is in a small country or something with a small GSM provider... yea.
With CDMA, the network time is always provided. Whether it's always accurate or not... is another issue . I've never really had much issue with Sprint providing the right time - even when I am traveling... Phone has always shown the correct time - so long as I have service.

I bet there is an app you can get that will sync the phone to an atomic clock somewhere.
Well, I tried gTimeSync, but the thing is, I still have to update the time after restart. :-/ Well, at least I can correctly update time.
I have the same problem on the same phone, Hungarian Vodafone card..
Somtimes the clock is 1 hour out, sometimes 2... If I change the GMT+ setting, it is going back to the Hungarian one..
Windows Mobile problem I think, same problem with 2 different Vodafone cards, the cards are OK in my HTC HD2.
A registry hack maybe?
Solution!

The answer to my problem was this picture - http://www.mydigitallife.us/time zone setting.jpg from another topic here on xda forums.
Start - Settings - Personal - Phone - Time Zones - "Automatic change of time zone and clock." - unlock this option and there is our salvation.
Unfortunately, the time probably won't change automatically from summer/winter time, but it's still better than having permanently incorrect time.
Well, see you when I come up to another problem or I just happen to roam these forums.
