Did u notice all the iFans in the comments going "ZOMG big phone screen to big" ? I have to say if you think a 4+ inch screen is too big either:
A) you have some kind of baby hands, or
B) you're so attached to that iPhone you've dumped hundreds or thousands of dollars on apps for you're a flat out liar
Now I'm going with option B, since I don't think there's that many freaks of nature walking around with mutant baby hands hanging off their limp wrists, they just can't suck up the fact they got scammed by apple into buying into a totalitarian regime of dumb smartphones that can't do much of sh!t but look like a colorful happy meal toy from McDonald's

Not to mention I can actually read my texts and emails with out having to try to cybersex my eyeball with the phone to read that microscopic thing apple calls a screen. Seriously 3.5"? My last flip phone was only half an inch smaller than that. Lol, I make my friends with iPhones leave them in their car when they come to my house, its and apple free zone. I even have a big poster of the android pissing on the apple and another one of the android eating the apple on my office wall

Everything apple makes is tiny, I was screwing around with my boss' iPhone cuz everytime he'd disconnect his BT the ringer would quit working, and I felt like I needed tweezers to hold that damn thing(I'm 6'7" BTW) but damn those phones were designed with one market in mind, tweens and teens with yuppie parents that will buy sh!t just cuz its the "cool" thing to do. I always ask my boss how his vaginas doing since he got that iPhone. And if the sex change was a requirement at time of purchase or if it was optional

It's funny that everyone I know who has an iPhone says my phone's screen is too big. Watch in one month when the iPhone 5 has a 4" screen, they're gonna think it's some sort of innovation and new technology to have bigger screens lol.
I saw that article but it's not gonna matter because people will go out and buy it. All my closest friends and their significant others have iphones... Enough for them to all tease me because I don't have one. And that ladies and gentlemen is what Apple is all about. It's sad and pathetic but true.

Older Mercedes models from that era were built like tanks. I have an '89 Mercedes E-Coupe and it is a fantastic automobile even with 200,000 miles on it and my E4GT bluetoothed to the new stereo. If you have the resources (read: money) for the extra upkeep that owning any old luxury car requires then I say drive what you like.

im loving this phone so far i got the 32 gig i have had all the top sprint phone 3d , photon, and the epic touch ......only thing i miss from my epic is the screen size ... so far speed very fast. better cam better screen i will update on batter life later

That is the way I also think.....I would switch if the 4s came out with a 4.0-4.5 screen, had a 4g radio would be even better if it had SuperAmoled. Right now it would be a downgrade for me on what I want out of a phone.
if it had 4.3" screen and wimax, I would have bought one

Just got my iphone 4s in the mail today and i regret it already after 5 hours,this os is so lame and boring theres nothing to it got to spoiled on android with customizing everything,not much different from when i had the very first iphone.forgot about no flash too wtf was i thinking listening to all these paid off reviewers that always give it over rated reviews and the pics are good but not as good i dont care what anyone says.pics i have take with my epic 4g touch are cleaner,brighter,sharper and better even when compared on my desktop,even with the random minor issues my 4g touch had it is still better by far.every issue could but fix with updates that should be around the corner.iphone 4s is a mistake and waste of money unless u like no flash or sd slot or just dont like doing cool things to the appearance of your phone,very plan os.selling on ebay tonight already reconnected my epic 4g touch,now i will never leave android.

I did the opposite 4 weeks ago, went from iphone on att to epic 4g touch. Happy that I did for many of the same reasons listed above, also the screen size, camera quality, etc..

i have iphone4 and huawei u8650 and both devices are perfect for me.
iphone 4 is very good cell that manages mails, cals and few games
u8650 is here for my pleasure i always make some modifications on it test stuff etc.
so i would not tell ios is **** or android is **** every os have advantages and disadvantages.
to be honest it is simpler to browse web on iphone...

So Squaretrade (I think?) did a drop test with the iPhone 4s vs Galaxy SII (not our version but they are similar in build I would assume). Be warned, it hurts to see our phone fall but it fared VERY well compared to the iPhone 4s.

Thats cool the screen stood up to the test. The bezel can't pass my pocket test, there's already some substantial dings on mine and I baby my stuff. Way more prone to stuff like this than the Sensation was. Definitely get a case if you're questioning it........

I like to think of it this way: IPhones are more for young children, old people and those who are not technically inclined (and have no interest in being so)... Or for people who don't care about being able to customize or tweak it much on the software level, they just want it "to work".

Iphones remind me of those brightly colored toy laptops from Toys R Us. Kids see mommy & daddy with their laptops & they want one too, but they can't quite handle a real computer so they just get a toy that makes them feel important

Just to be on the record, I saw this as more of an interest in seeing what happens when our phone drops to the ground. I honestly don't care much about what happens to an iPhone, as I don't own one. I know other posters are bashing apple which is fine with me (I could care less), but I took some useful information out of this and have much less worry using this phone day to day with or without a case now with the knowledge that it can take a beating and still come out fighting strong.

Some people just don't care about all that stuff. They just want the thing their friends have, or the phone that everyone has. Ohh the Iphone has 3G, a 3 inch screen, and everytime I plug it up to my computer iTunes freaks out and a million pop ups appear. Yeah it looks great, I'll take 3 of them..... But its their lost. I love my MacBook though. The Lion OSX makes Windows OS look like ****. Well any OS makes Windows OS look like ****. Definitely just went on a 3AM rant.... Well goodnight!

My wife told someone at work she was getting a new phone and someone asked, what are you getting an iPhone. She was like no way, my husband won't let me and says they suck. Then another person who has one was like, no it doesn't everyone has one...
Yup, there you go folks that proves it all! iPhones are awesome because everyone has one! I am glad we got that settled.
Anyway, she got the HTC Rezound for Verizon. Believe it or not the screen is actually pretty beautiful on that thing. That device is what the EVO 3D should have been.
I would also be curious to see how many E4GT's sold just for Sprint.

My wife got an iPhone 4S the same time i got the samsung Epic Touch 4G and dont get me wrong. The iPhone is a nice device. But Siri sucks. I laughed at my wife yesterday. She tried using siri to navigate to walmart. It kept denying her. Lol. I opened up voice search and said the exact same thing my wife asked Siri and guess what. IT WORKED PERFECT. My wife was pissed. I told her Thats what you iSheep get. Come to find out siri is still beta testing. Lol. Thats something they fail to say on there iSuck Commerials. Lmao. God i love Android.

So i been a android user and for almost two years, my first phone was the Samsung moment on Sprint, rooted the phone still suck! Got me an evo 4g and was the best phone I ever had (came from bb and iPhone), alot people got to know the evo, but some people still asked me "is the a Droid?" verizon marketing did a lot for Android, move forward a few years anyone knows and iPhone or android, but no phone is famous at all, or at least that's what I thought, now I had my gs3 since launch day, and just in this past weeks, 5 people been able to recognize it, from walmart store, to grocery store and gas station (specially when you pay with nfc), so it looks like the galaxy s III brand is recognized and Samsung did a good job by putting the same phone on all carriers, makes me wonder has anyone else recognized your phone? And I'm not talking about tech people, just regular consumers?

Lmao funny thing I got a few friends that have iPhones and they want to trade it for my gs3,I had the 4s like it but I can't have it as my Daily driver I use for work tho, and I hate the small screen, the OS feels slow somehow, it does have more animations but it feels slow

90% of apple owners don't wanna hear about android. People buy iphones just because its an iPhone. Its like shoes, people buy nikes because they are nikes if you get a Nike and put the sketchers logo on it, no ones going to want it. Truth is gs3 kicks the iPhones asssss. For years I was a huge Nokia N series fan and bought euro unlocked phones with symbian, so I have always gotten the ”what kind of phone is that?" question... Around the time the original tmobile mytouch I switch to android and haven't looked back since. Bought a gs3 about 2 weeks ago and for the first time it's not "what phone is that" but "how do like that phone... I want one real bad". Personally I love tmo and love my gs3. Now iphone I have never liked but I get why it's huge... Great for what most people do with their phone but iphone may have been out played by the gs3 and could lose a healthy share of their market. Just my 2¢ though...

I finally ran into someone who had the exact same phone as me yesterday. We had a bit of fun with that. She said her battery life was pretty good. I disagreed, but then again I also have mine overclocked to 1.9Ghz.. So I'm happy
Just a curious..after seeing this beast in action 3 of my friends went ahead and purchased the note2. Ps these were the same ones complaining that "oh do u really need a phone that big" and so on lol.

I converted 3 people.
Is it really that good? I keep hearing good things about it. But then I heard lots of good things about SGSII. Then I found out about the fluttering phantom key presses, the cheap- plastic back cover, the poor support by developers. For a "super phone" I'm really pretty jaded with this phone. What's the real 411 on the Note 2?

Cheap plastic cover still there, but if you have a case, you can't tell. Dev support is awesome for the device, the dev teams are actually very prompt in helping and replying. People use my note 2 and fall in love with it. The screen size is great for watching videos and editing word documents. It feels good in the hands contrary to what people may think. Web surfing and researching stuff online is easier with no need to zoom in. Everyone who owns one or used one has different opinions on y they like it, but they all love em

I converted myself. For longest time I thought that Note 2 is a piece of garbage. Too big, made by Samsung, etc. Then I played around with it in store and yea, it was great.
So far, 2 iPhone users may be converting as well.
I've converted one. When I saw my 18 month old son could hold it in one hand, I tried again to convert my wife from her N4 again, but she wouldn't yield. -_-

Like you, I've had the E4GT. This phone is beyond it lol, by miles.
No phantom key presses on the N2, but as mentioned earlier..the plastic cover is still there. I'm running MIUI on my N2 right now and it truly kills anything you throw at it. Just a great overall solid phone.
I converted 4 people and they love it btw 2 were iphone lovers
I converted 2 of my partners. 1 got his on Tuesday. The other one is waiting for his tax check and he'll be getting 2 for him and his ol lady. They both had Droid Razrs. My third partner is an Apple fan. He didn't want to look at it. Maybe afraid that it might convert him. Lol
So far I've converted 6 people, 2 from blackberry, 3 from iPhone and 1 from whatever Nokia was using back in the day. I also helped a couple people make their choice when they went to a smartphone for the first time.
I found older folks really like the note 2 for the screen size and the keyboard size.
Converted 2ppl and 1 is waiting to upgrade to this phone so I guess I can say 3.

Haha this thread is awesome. Love it. Just out of curiosity how are you guys convincing iPhone users? I'm having a hard time with my friends. They're so closed minded and don't want anything that's not iPhone even after I show them the features of my note 2.

I put there iphone on top of my phone, show em how much bigger it is. They responded, "bigger isnt always better", i respond, "ask your girl what she thinks about that". Then they complain about how android doesnt have apps, then i show em every damn app they have, and how good the devs made em to fit our screens. Then they say how it cant be perfected because every android phone is different from one another and how apple phones are optimized cause theyre all the same. I tell em another historical figure wanted everything the same type....... His name was hitler... Look what happened to him. They give typical uneducated responses and eventually become quiet. Then i say "this is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill, your story ends, you wake up in ur own bed and believe whatever you wanna believe. You take the red pill, and you stay in wonderland, and ill whow you how deep the rabbit hole goes."

I've converted 4 people.
1. My girlfriend, who saw it the first day I had mine then instantly ordered hers online
2. My cousins coworker. He was #teamiphone to the fullest. He started by saying the iphone is the best phone ever invented. Fast forward a week later he pulls out a note 2 with Verizon lol.
3. My other cousin. He had a Samsung infuse 3g. Said the note 2 was too big. One day after a trip to the mall I got something to eat. When I met back up with him an hour later he had the note 2
4. My girlfriends step-mother. She too said it was too big and that she didn't like it. Lo and behold she ended up with a note 2 about 2 weeks later. I asked her why and she said she could see better on a large screen.
What I get from a lot of this is that even though people say they don't want it, deep down they are jealous inside lol

I got that same response from some of my hardcore iphone co-workers. Their iphone was like the savior of the masses... that is, until I showed them how i can have text and browse while watching videos at the same time. That's when I see their jaws drop to the ground.
The other thing that gets ooohs and aaahs is when they stop by my cube and question my nfc tag that I have by the entrance - and I tell them that with a swipe of my phone I can set up all my preferences without fiddling with the settings.
Pic of what it feels like holding those itty bitty phones. I also got a co worker who gave me the it looks your "holding a phone book to your face"..two weeks later she has a note 2. Lol.
Ps I dont see too many note 2 in the wild which I kind of like. ..makes it more a "unique club" but we'll see how long that lasts. Do any of you peps see alot of note 2's around?
