I have a Dash which I just flashed Ricky 6.1 last week. I setup the phone for tmobile 5.99 - Internet Explorer works most of the time but sometimes when I am waiting for some sites the phone will automatically shut off.
Has anyone experienced this problem? Is this a Hardware or Software related issue? Can anyone help.
it could be you battery

I second that. I had the same issue. Phone use to shutdown while browsing web, or downloading emails (basically heavy net activity). It was due to dying battery giving up when it can't keep up with system power demand.
Suggest to change your battery.
Glad you asked this question i have the same issue. thanks for the answers guys. i figured the battery on this thing was about ready to give up considdering it lasts maybe 3 hours with light inet usage.

Hey guys, I noticed in BBS that I have an alarm waking up my phone 40+ times an hour and causing battery drain. The process is "com.lge.ims.action.ALARM_NATIVE_TIMER" ...Has anyone else experienced this? If so, can it be limited using Amplify or anything along those lines? Thanks!
I have it limited by Amplify with no negative side effects. Lock that bish down asap

I kept it simple to 600 seconds. I never had major issues with it but it was still present. If I remember correctly it's usage was for wifi calling or something. Since I don't have that feature with my carrier it had no ill effect
Hi, does anyone know what this wakelock is and how can i stop it? As you can see the app does not see it as a big problem because of 16s time bit number of wakeups is worrying - more than 4000..
You hardly find anything about that on the internet
Yeah, i hardly found anything about it too. But i was hoping somebody was dealing with similiar wakelock.
What is that, German, or Russian, Maybe? This phone has the most phenomenal battery life I've ever experienced. Wish i could help. American version on sprint CDMA network.

Yes, Polish T-Mobile model I really do not know what to do this with this wakelock. Maybe it's because of some app ? (I have BBS installed nonroot with adb) But then again if I uninstall this app then i don't know if I solved the wakelock Did you tried factory reset DeeZZ_NuuZZ?

Before and after switching ROM you have this wakelock? Because i would try factory reset but I don't like it that i have to install all apps, choose all the right setting and in the end it doesn't solve the problem.

Probably not.
They are most of the time not responsible for the Wakelocks but the first thing that's happening After awakening.
Also EVERYONE has them! No kidding!
You can have a factory Reset phone without Google account and you won't get rid of them
You can see it here:

Is it safe to block them in amplify? Or should I leave then untouched?
Power Nap [Xposed Module] also blocks them. But it doesn't matter. Because they do not wake the phone, they happen when the phone gets awaken by something else.
Check this out (With Power Nap enabled and What's app excluded)
As you can see, almost no Userspace Wakelocks:
As always Google Services is the only thing you simply cannot shut up, no matter what
But yeah, the Problem is on the Kernel Level....
You see a Normal Wake due to an UserSpace Wakelock:
And one that's happening due to Kernel:
So as long as you have these Kernel wakes, the BatteryServiceUpdateStats_3 will activate at the same time. Batterylife itself is not really affected.

I started getting the BatteryServiceUpdateStats_3 wakelock a few days ago, tried different kernels and factory reset and no joy getting rid of it. It is affecting my battery life big time.
My phone stays awake and is draining at 7% per hour with the screen off. Lucky to be getting 7 hours of use out of it in a day with light usage...
So basically you are saying that an app is responsible for this?
I have this SAME EXACT wakelock and problem. I have researched it endlessly with 0 luck at all. This has been an issue regardless of running marshmallow or N, a different kernel, a different ROM, etc. This wakelock on top of the 10's horrible WiFi makes my battery life absolutely terrible. If I can't fix this within 2 months (when I reach a year paid off on my payment plan) I am selling this phone and upgrading because the battery life it so intolerable. If someone could shed any light on this wakelock that would be awesome.
I have the same problem, I couldn't fine solution. Apparently is a problem only for sense rom..

Keep your WiFi turned off on your 10 and watch how much you standby drain improves lol...It's a faulty WiFi setup in the 10. I don't think it's software related either. I heard it's the physical placement of the WiFi antennae from @LeeDroid

Hello, I am having a a big issue on my phone's battery consumption and it's "Phone Idle". For some odd reason it uses much more than it's supposed to and I have no idea what the problem is. I searched everywhere online to resolve this issue but sadly, I haven't found any solution. I am currently on AOiSP ROM on Android 8.1. I know the ROM isn't the problem because I have installed LineageOS 14.1 and stock ROM, but the drain was still present. Does anyone have a solution? Thank you in advance.

Did you notice massive battery drain in idle?
If not your "issue" isn't a problem.
And if you had no sim cards in your phone, activate airplane mode. Unless you like higher standby drain lol

You didn't answer my first question: Do you notice battery drain when your phone is in idle?
Or is it only your first consumer in battery stats?
How many battery you lose over night? Lets say in 5+ hours.
If you lost 5% or more, use for example wakelock detector app from playstore (the lite version with Android 8+ and you have to follow the explained steps in the APP to get it working properly) to identify which APP causes your wakelocks.

Oh, my apologies, I thought you meant if it's said in the battery usage... I only lose about 2%. So does it means I don't need to install any Wakelock detector apps?
And sorry for the late reply, I don't get any notifications.

my rom Cardinal-AOSP
Install BetterBatteryStats (xda version) or purchase it on google play to have better control over battery consumption. You can track what's eating your phone energy here and it will be easier for people to help you if you post some screenshots from the app.
NOTE: You need access to a computer and have adb installed because it is needed to give this app some permissions and make it work properly.
Also keep in mind that "Phone idle" battery usage in android stats will increase when you're not using your phone too much and it is running for a long time.
Can anyone tell me why Android system and Android OS is draining my battery and how to prevent this?

holy crap dude. factory reset that bish and see what you get after you set it back up
I had this problem, but it was the android system in my case not the android OS. I wiped the cache and drained my phone to 0% then charged it untill full.
The problem is gone. But still my battery life isn't great.
I think restricting background activity and putting loads all the apps to sleep should help ?
I have already putted some apps to sleep since I got the update, especially google, because it was crashing constantly.... Try it, it may help.
I put all my apps to sleep and enabled auto-brightness and here's the result (S9 Exynos)

Download GSam Battery Monitor from google play and use ADB to give it permission "adb shell pm grant com.gsamlabs.bbm android.permission.BATTERY_STATS", It should show what is draining the battery.

Android's battery usage is not showing everything that's why I told you to use gsam monitor
With gsam we could see what is exactly in the "system" causing it to drain battery.
What's app seems to use a lot of battery.
What is your screen brightness level?
