Is SetCPU necessary with baked kernal #6?

Baked kernal #6 is havs so I'm just wondering if I should continue to use SetCPU in combination with this kernel or not?
Any opinions on the matter?
Really curious about this...wondering if it will positively or negatively affect my battery life.
Try it and find out. I'm doing the same thing.

Let me know how it goes for you, I had heard of that combinations being touted as one of the best for battery life but it only lasted me from 9AM-6:30PM with moderate usage. I was working the whole day and occasionally checking it.
What's a "kernal" doing in your phone? Did you load C64's OS on your phone?

CPUstats- Simple CPU statistics

This is simple app that I have been using since my milestone days and it works very well. It gives you information about CPU frequencies and governor.
I tried it on my rooted SGSII with a custom kernel and it works just fine. Posting it here for anyone who may be interested. More information about the app can be found in the original thread from here. It is created by amossam.
A screenshot of it running on my SGSII with KG3 and Ninphetamine-2.0.1 kernel.

Battery drain

Have tried different Rome and full wipes always but on start up I always have to force stop media in the battery section or it drains so fast. Is there a setting I am missing?

Anyone? I flashed jedimaster 10 and posted it in the thread but seems like no one cares so i just post it here
Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk 2
Try to flash another kernel or get a stock kernel, that might fix it.
POWERED by FROSTY!
Ok i got that too when i flashed a kernel. Try looking for stock kernel, or perseus kernel, wipe cache and dalvik, before and after the flash. It worked for me.
