Anyone use Mobile Odin for emergency and us the bone stock T999UVALEM unrooted file, and use Mobile Odin to automatically inject root to it? If yes, did it work correctly?
As a side note, a couple days ago I was kernal swapping and lost wifi. It just wouldnt turn on. So I used MO to install Mr. Robinsons prerooted stock T999UVALEM, and after it finished, wifi still didnt work. So I did a factory reset. Still didnt work, so I used Windows Odin and used the stock unrooted T999UVALEM and that did work finally.
So I used mobile Odin to instal the bone stock unrooted T999UVALEM, and had it inject root and super SU and mobile Odin again automatically. Worked PERFECTLY! It wiped data and cache, too. Root works as it should, too.

Anyone have any ideas why I cant flash the Root version of the 2.3.6 ROM [EL13] but i can flash the stock modified one (No root) ?
I flashed in Rogue Kernel on EK02 and EK02 modem and it successfully ODIN'ed then on Reset it hangs on the Samsung Galaxy 2 logo. I then have to revert back to EG30 stock to fix it.
The non root works fine however. WTF?
i used mobile odin and had it auto root, worked fine
mobile odin says it wasnt supported on my model. I have the Epic Touch 4g. Is this not supported?
i was rooted already, i think for mobile odin to work you need to be rooted
I rooted my T-Mobile GS4 a while back (when I had a windows PC) now I have macbook and I cant use Odin on it. Is there way I can just go back to 4.2 without unrooting my phone?
Mobile Odin, flash stock Rom tar but select Everoot option too keep root.
There's a couple of threads to show how to use Odin on a Mac.

Is root all you've done? Like are you on the stock ROM still?
If so you can always just uninstall Super User.
Of course this won't restore the stock recovery or reset your flash counter. But it will remove root access.
It all depends on how much you want to unroot and what you are trying to accomplish by it.
So I was on 4.3 Virgin Mobile S3 when I decided to root it and install CM11. The root went fine, but the CM11 install failed. Then my nandroid backup didn't restore correctly, so I had to reinstall an OTA firmware through Odin, only when I did, it came back with Sprint installed instead of Virgin Mobile. And now Kies is being really screwy and I can't even turn it on anymore, but can still access Download Mode. Is there anyway I can restore it to Virgin Mobile firmware so that I can use my plan? I don't even care if it comes back without root, I probably won't ever root again after this :/ Thanks in advance if you can help.
Edit: SOLVED! Reinstalled the Sprint OTA and managed to install a stock MK5 rom from this forum. This truly is a magical place.
I had CM12 installed with root, But i took it off and installed a stock 4.1 ATT firmware so i could update it normally again, And i took root off through super su. But every time i try to update it, The 700mb file downloads and goes to install with stock recovery (i reinstalled that back on there because i though TWRP was messing with it) and when it gets to around 25-31% area, It fails and when my phone restarts, it says failed to update. Does anybody know how to fix this? Thanks in advance
What is your end goal here, completely stock? If so check this out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261153
Tutorial: How to use KIES Emergency Firmware Recovery (EFR) ....
Or get your stock firmware from sammobile.com and odin it into your phone. Done properly ypur phone will be completely stock again. <--just did this the other day with my phone and worked flawlessly. I did back up all pics and such to pc first just in case. Stock everything was flashed.
Not sure about data loss or flash counter trips. I've been out of the game for awhile.

Hello,
I needed to unroot my phone to configure android pay and went to super su and uninstalled root, now i´m stuck at the tmobile screen and cant pass that.
I went to download mode and tried to root it again but get the same result. Tried to flash stock ROM and it fails on ODIN. Looks like its soft bricked.
The fact that i`m using ODIN on Windows 10 makes any difference? I mean, i manage to flash unikernel but I cant flash the stock ROM with ODIN.
I`m running 5.1.1 stock rooted
Thanks for any help.

I did that and it worked, thanks! Funny thing though, after a couple of days running tmo stock, the phone stopped connecting to the network that I use here in Brazil. I got the data connection but can´t place calls. Any ideas?
