I missed my foxfi...

after upgraded to ICS . Otherwise, I like my new dessert
Maybe I am dumb, but I just tried Foxfi for about 10 minutes and it worked perfectly. I just used the simple hotspot as I have used before. Can you explain what the problem is?
My phone is stock ICS, not rooted. Thanks
My tablet always got direct to tmobile sign up page for tether option.
Tablet? Either you mean phone or you are in the wrong forum dude

for some reason, my Foxfi is working now. When activate the Hotspot, it no longer turn on the Mobile Hotspot in phone setting like it did before.

4G LTE finally in Seattle area!!

I'm browsing on my phone and noticed the notification icon said 4G instead of 3G today, thinking it's just a glitch since I flashed a new rom recently, I did a speed test to make sure. Sure enough, I'm getting over 16Mbps download speed. Finally!
Seattle area users rejoice we finally have it!

How bout taking the time to read all the threads starting from the top? You do know theres a sticky about lte where folks like yourself that gets excited about lte can share it there instead of making a new thread. Imagine everyone from each state and city making a new thread about them getting lte the forum would be all cluttered up just make sure u check out the threads first before making a new one its not that hard.

Thanks for this. Did not see the sticky section on my xda app, but I see what you're talking about now. My fault. Mods please delete.

Sell lappy for gs4

Just wondering how many of you think you could live without a computer and only use a gs4.
Thats what I'm thinking of doing. I was also wondering is tmobiles prepaid $70 unlimited plan truely unlimited??
Thank you!

While I'm not sure that selling a laptop to get a S4 is the best idea, you will be losing a lot of function (at least for me) such as better browsing, gaming, writing papers for school, and much more so that might not be you, as for the unlimited data, there is no throttling and I've used about 22 gigs of data and no slowdowns

If you want to root, your going to need your laptop. And if you get the boot loop bug like I did your going to need to use Odin to get it back. So a computer is a must in my opinion.

Problem with data usage Tmobile Note 3

So I've had the note 3 for 1 week now. I have the unlimited everything plan and 2.5 gb of data. I have yet to activate my hot spot and yet when I check my usage for hot spot, its at 100 mb, and it keeps going up! Am I missing something here?

Actually I noticed what app is using my hot spot data. Team speak for android is using my hot spot data, even though my hot spot is off. Anyone know what the deal is with this?

I have the same plan and my tethering MB is also creeping up on its own. 48 MB so far and I haven't even turned it on.
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk 2
Hmm, no good. I wonder what is causing this?
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
Not seeing the same. Tethering shows 10.8MB which is when I tested it. Hasn't moved since.
It's the way T-Mobile monitors data. If you view a website in desktop mode on chrome it uses hot spot data.

my network speed is very slow
I was on the stock rooted rom and my dl speed was great but when I flashed over the jedi rom my speeds died down drastically. .. I noticed that in the rom it says it has network speed tweaks but not sure how to find them or apply them please help

Wow, thats some BS right there! Maybe something to do with people having to use chrome to use hotspot without paying for it? That's my guess.

My note 3 keeps freezing!

Hey everyone, so I jumped to the HTC m8 and I hated it! Paid the restocking fee and got the note 3 again and my phone lags really bad. I have to either restart my phone or turn the screen off and on. I have until Tuesday before my 14 days are up and was wondering if rooting it and flashing a rom would fix the lag or should I exchange it?
Edit. Sorry I meant to post this in the Q&A section.

Rooting it and installing a custom rom/kernel always helps as you can debloat whatever apps you don't use with titanium backup pro, root explorer, trickster mod etc. I don't see how even with 3gb ram this phone lags, but not every phone is the same I suppose.

When I had my first note 3 I rooted that thing as soon as I bought it! I've been holding off with this phone just in case something was wrong with it. I ended up doing a factory reset and everything seems fine now. I'm wondering if an app or game wasn't playing nice with my phone.

So I think I figured out what's wrong with my phone. I was looking online and read that some people were having the same problem I am. Turns out it was the sd card. I took my sd card out and have been playing with my phone for the past hour now with no freezing!

Glad you sorted it, what brand and class was it? I've had lower class cards make my LG G2X & E4GT lag before.

I spoke too soon.... I had the sd card out all day and when I was browsing the Web my phone became unresponsive and I had to turn the screen off and on at least 5 times until I could actually use it. looks like I'll be going to t-mobile to exchange it before my 14 days are up.
