I just picked up the Galaxy SIII today I'm coming from the Galaxy SII. I was wondering which root method everyone is using? I'm spoiled from SFHubs one clicks with the SII so before I rooted want to know the easiest available method. If this was posted already sorry for asking again.

If you are asking about the [ODIN][TAR] posts in Android Development, those rooting instructions using Odin One-Click are still good as of EL26 at least. For example, you can use the EL29 Rooted NoData to root your existing version and not lose what you already have on it. Cheers!

Thanks i will go there and look into rooting
I'm curious to hear about root methods for 4.1.2, specifically build JZ054K.I317UCAMA4.
I've asked in the root thread in original development, but have not received a response, and I'm itching to get this thing rooted and debloated, as AT&T and Samsung crapware is really eating up a lot of RAM that would otherwise be free.
Has anybody rooted 4.1.2 successfully? What method did you follow?

i'd just got my 4.3 upgrade, planning to root and flash DN3, what method should i pick to root my n7100?
Thanks
One of the easiest option to root galaxy note2 N7100 is with this app Framaroot.
Created by fellow xda member ALEPHZAIN.
You can find it here in xda of course.
Its not in Google Play store so look it up via google.Just type Framaroot and press search.
I've rooted using different ways before but the last time I rooted was with this app.Very efficient. Its just an app, open it theres 4 options, press aragon. You're rooted.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium

I was connected to WiFi at my moms and it automatically did an update to 4.3 firmware. It use to run 4.1.1 I believe. I wanna root my phone because ive seen so many cool things you can do with a rooted phone. Can my phone be rooted? Yes or no? If so, how can I do it??? Please help!!! Thanks

Hello,
I'm new to XDA and have a question. Couldn't find it that fast on the forums so made this new thread.
I own a Rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-9005 and it's on android 4.3
When I click on software update I get an error message due to the fact my phone is rooted. I'm wondering if it's possible to update to 4.4.2?
I don't care about losing my root because I will root again. Already tripped Knox to 0x1 so I'm fine with that aswell.
Thanks in advance,
Wess

There is a complete walk thru guide inside the development section. Should be good after following that.

Thanks for your fast answer. It isn't clear for me where to find the "development section". Could you give me a link? Otherwise I'll keep searching!

how are you accessing XDA? if on the phone you will have to go to devices, sm-n9005t and go to android development
if on the computer, just got to T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and you will see all of the sub sections
