Wallet now supports more debit and credit cards. - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Is that service specific or app specific? If so can someone post a new version of the app?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app

there is a huge thread that is pretty much always on the front page of this forum, not quite sure how you missed it. new apk here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29644211#post29644211

I read through there but the title threw me off since it says its from last November or something. Also wasn't sure about the debit card thing as I didn't see anyone bring it up. My question was more about the new options more than a link to the app
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app

you specifically asked if someone could post a new version of the app. maybe your question would be better answered there since people are actively discussing it... or here...
anyway, here's some info, maybe it'll help: http://googlecommerce.blogspot.com/2012/08/use-any-credit-or-debit-card-with.html

Ditto that!!
A simple search will give you the answer! I'm not doing it for you. There are two other threads in the Android App forums about this. You obviously got the hacked app from one of those threads. There was no need to start another thread about this.

Really though if you are gonna waste your time telling someone to go to another thread you could have just said yes or no last time or provided a link. Thats what this community is about... helping each other and bouncing ideas. If you weren't gonna help why reply?

No genius I won't provide a link! I'm tired of doing the work for lazy people! He obviously got the app from the other thread which is were I got it! He knows damn well were to check to see if there is a new version! There was absolutely no need for a new thread. But what would you know, your obviously just like him. To lazy to search so let me just ask even though there are two other threads. I have helped many here so why don't you do the same or just mind your own business! How many duplicate threads would you like to see on this forum. If I'm coming across like a **** then so be it! You should have just done a search for him and posted the link. That's what you wanted me to do!
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Ahh, but, my friend, I have already searched. So the link is unnecessary. And just because someone hasn't posted something to an antiquated thread does not mean that there is no new information.
The rest of us will continue to ask as we see fit and within the parameters of the forum. There are multiple threads about the same topic in a lot of these forums - take the DK28 GPS fix for example. At least four active threads right now in dev. Why not go police them too?
Thanks for your help.

[Q] T-Mo/AT&T unlock

Is there a way to make a rooted and SIM-unlocked DInc2 usable on AT&T and T-Mo networks in the US? Any sort of flashable upgrade to any internal components, hacked radio or whatnot that would achieve that purpose?
Search the forum. There you will find the out that this can be done. As well as the fact you shouldn't post questions in the dev section.

I have searched and I couldn't find much on this topic either. Granted I did it using tapatalk which leaves a bit to be desired in the search department. My point is that it might be more helpful overall to just answer the question rather than refuse simply because someone missed a thread and can't manage to find it using search for some reason.

If it is, I can't find it.
I have re-posted the question in the General forum, but all I got there so far is more of the same arrogant ignorance that some of the replies demonstrated here.
I believe it is perfectly clear from my original post that the phone is _already_ SIM unlocked and rooted.
Let's move further discussion to the General forum to avoid moderators' wrath.

Did the link get edited? Because I just followed it and it's clearly a full breakdown of the phone the OP is referring to, including its model number. Not sure what you're seeing.
What I read was related to batteries. Either way, what's the point of it? It may or may not be what the device is, but is unrelated anyways. OP was asking about where to find a case. Its not our job to figure out what phone it is. OP has been given many ways to figure that out.

No, the OP asked us how to find out what MODEL the phone is so they can find a case. Re-read their post. It's not our "job" to do anything. We're here to be helpful. Someone above posted a link confirming what model it was, and was therefore helpful. Mis-reading both the OP's post and the link and complaining that we don't need to help isn't.

Ok, let's put it this way, if the OP can't use 2 perfectly viable options to check the model number of the phone, he is SOL on my book. There is a sticker behind the battery as I stated before. And IF that is gone he can easily go into the phone settings to get it. If that isn't available then there is no point in even posting to find out the model because the phone would obviously be broken. I understand that we are a community for sharing and helping. But we only help when a user has exhausted all means of doing it themselves and failed. He obviously hasn't checked out at least one of those options. Also, OP has failed to follow XDA rules here. This is not the correct forum for that device. If there is no such forum for that device, the question belongs in the General Q/A section of the forums and not in the E4GT section. I did read the OP but really just forgot what it entirely was about, but again, we are not here to spoon feed people.

[Help]Wanting to flash to different carrier

So I'm on bs sprint and still have a little over a year for my contract to be up so if all's well I will be flashing me and my gfs phones to another carrier and buying out of our cantract since we're basically paying 200 dollars for the same service. I'm wondering if anybody is willing to help me out with the flashing process (this will be my 1st time) by directing me to the best carrier to flash to how toos and so fourth. I'm currently rooted and my gf isn't but I can have that done in minutes when it's time. I'm hoping to go to virgin boost or cricket if anyone knows anything about flashing to any of these carriers. Can online help? Please and thanks

Actually edfunkycold has been extremely helpful. No I'm not trying to be confrontational. My apologizes in advance if that's the way it sounds. The threads that edfunkycold pointed you to have the information necessary to complete what you want to do. There is going to be quite a bit of reading, and research involved. Especially as this is your first time. The best advice I can give you is read, read, and read some more. If you have any questions search the thread that pertains to what you are trying to accomplish. If you still cannot find the answer post up in that thread. Someone is usually around to help, in almost every thread. BTW, yes I do know how hard it is to search for answers to questions sometimes . Even though I've been around for a while, I still use the search function quite a bit. Sometimes more than I'd like to admit.

I honestly agree with u 100% edfunkycold cnexus and whiplash are always 1st on the scene when I need help. I just always see people saying to search. I always search b4 I post a thread and I only post a thread to get as much help as possible. There is no real filters on here and u could be stuck on the same thread for days b4 finding what u need. I also feel like posting new threads helps other noobs find things easier than finding something that was posted a year ago. I honestly meant no disrespect to anybody on these forums especially the people that's always helping and if any was taken i apologize

No offense taken at all. But read what you wrote. You feel that by starting a new thread it helps new noobs find it. You don't think that adds to the already hundreds of threads which exist, many of them repeated questions on the same topic? Now that is going g to make it even more difficult for a new person to find the thread with the correct information.
Keep in mind the longer threads with more activity are usually the ones with all the right answers. Some reading and searching will be necessary. Within the thread itself you can search that specific thread to get the information you need and the results come back in order from newest post to oldest post.
I search every day, I search mostly for people that are looking for answers. Keep in mind I do it all from my phone mobile so I only use the app.
Food for thought.

Yes I understand that but thanks to people like u and the others I mentioned links are posted to those threads right on the pages we often look for. Even tho there are repeat questions not everyone has the same desire there fore when the links a provided we get helped as much as we can by this. This isn't a dispute or argument in anyway but a "noobs stand point of thinking" if that's what u wanna call it. Maybe this explains it or maybe it doesn't but it shows we have a high regard for this Site instead of going to another forum or Google searching our issues (which most leads back to here). This is a good Site and everyone is loved here especially by us noobs. I'm not sure if u seen it but a while ago I wrote a thank you post cause what u guys do here is awesome and if it wasn't for u guys my phone would be plain old vanilla my mind bored and a bunch of noobs lost hopelessly. Maybe if we can get some filters on here maybe for dates or key words or different updates there wouldn't be soo many repeat threads. U said yourself u search using your phone (as do I 99% of the time) how long does it take u to usually find a thread you've never seen on a topic u barely have any info about?

If you go Boost or Virgin you will need a donor phone,If you go Cricket you will not as they allow flashed phones on their system.Crickets service is OK but with a flashed phone you will always be 3G no 4G. The S3 is a fairly easy phone to flash you can do it with QPST. Or since you are in louisville the corporate stores can flash it for you pretty cheap.

4.3

Hello XDA.
I Just wanted to start this thread for 4.3 info. I have looked online but info is vague. So maybe the community here can drop solid links or info for the big update. I did find an article that says the Note 2 and S3 are skipping 4.2. But no real time line. So does anyone else here know anything more? Sad this is a great phone...still sort of new...but has yet to get a real update.
Also. Search function on phone app kinda stinks. I did search for this topic first. Got every topic that even mentions 4.3 or t mobile note 2. Sorry if it is already posted here.
When a New XDA app update is made...here is an idea...a detailed search function.
