Galaxy W Flashlight (apps) - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

Hello everyone.
Does anyone noticed, when you going to take a picture with any camera app, you'll see that the flashlight will turned on. But, at the second time, flashlight will turn on more brighten then the first one.
My question is, Is there any app will do the same as the camera? I mean, the app that will turn the flashlight more brighten as the camera app did.
I've tried to find it at the Play Store, but the result the flashlight isn't bright as the camera app did.
Any Ideas?? :fingers-crossed:
Sorry for my English..

Same like me....

Try asking in the thread for your AOKP ROM.

Hmmm have you tried using a stock rom?
Auto focus doesn't work for me either. it SEEMS to be working on video mode, but definitely doesn't work on photo mode. I believe it has never been working for me, and I always thought why doesn't samsung phone camera autofocus well like my low end HTC phone (HTC One V). I'm on AOKP nightly, which is actually pretty stable right now.
On HTC phone, even when just previewing the pictures to be taken, it autofocuses when the camera gets closer to an object, but this one doesn't do anything. When I press the shutter button, it takes and sometimes focuses correctly, sometimes blurry (especially when too close to the object, which is not a problem with HTC phone). I can long press the shutter key and i will be able to see if it focuses or not before releasing the key, but why doesn't this adjust right away when preview is shown without touching the shutter key?

Honestly.....

Why does Google do such weird things all the time? I know other people have to think the same thing about why they design an OS the way they do. For instance clicking the clock in the status bar takes u to time settings instead of clock or calendar(when we all have auto time enabled)? And I'm pretty sure(at least I hope) its a bug, but the stupid new camera rotation is beyond dumb. And why they took the so much fun camera effects out, I may never know... I do love Google but just question their Dev team sometimes... sometimes a lot
But that is why we have these wonderful devs across the forums. I can't thank you guys/gals enough!!!!

I have to ask, why would you need to click on a clock to take you to another clock?

LOL Maybe he means alarm settings which is inside clock app

The slow camera rotation is intentional. The Android Dev team spoke about it. As for camera effects, I don't know how many people actually used them. Sure, Mac users seem to use them quite a bit, but I don't know about Android users.

Yea I meant alarms.. Lol. Or even clock app would be smart
Why on EARTH would u want camera lag when changing the phone orientation... Then u end up missing Ur shot!
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
The rotation lag doesn't bug me too much. It usually takes a second or less to rotate. I usually know what orientation I want my picture to be, so I'll press the camera app in that orientation.

Just lock rotation when you want to use your camera, if you are using a rom with toggle rotation it wont be that hard to press a toggle.
I personally always disabled rotation, and only enabled it when i want to use it.

Another thing that bothers me is app drawer. the black background is still stuck in the Gingerbread era.
If I lock rotation to to a pic in landscape its going to take the picture in portrait but I guess u could just rotate it in the gallery... But still useless as fuhk. I'd rather deal with the lag of swiping to my pictures than the actual camera itself... Come one Google... You're better than this... Back to 4.1 camera I am

Better Camera App

Hey I'm currently using slim bean 4.2.2 build 8. I'm looking for a better camera app on my phone because the one that comes with the ROM is very buggy. Does anybody have an app that still has the stock Google 4.2.2 look and feel that is fully working?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
I've used this one on my phone.
Don't know which camera comes with slimbean though.

Have you tried the 4.3 stock camera?
What's wrong with the camera? Not buggy for me. I like LG Camera from the play store

Snap Camera from the play store works well and has the 4.3 interface
I like the 4.3 stock camera, it gives you the photo sphere option. Other than that, a camera is a camera to me.
How about camera zoom fx... havent tried that, but heard about its reviews....

Snap Camera is by far the best. Ive tried them all.

I also vouch for Snap Camera. It's like stock but with added features and simplicity.
Have to agree with ya'll, Snap Camera is pretty awesome.

Okay, I'm going to be honest here...
Normally I ignore app recommendations from this site because sometimes they're just god-awful... but lgcamera is pretty amazing. It's got plenty of advanced features for serious photographers that left their SLR at home and stumble across a perfect photo opp.
Extremely fine ISO control, plenty of resolution choices, AND the ability to set volume up as focus, and volume down as capture.
Overall, with my small snap on telephoto lens for proper zooming and a touch of manual focus, this app has restored my faith in non-SLR cameras for hobby shots. Best free camera app there is, even if the interface is hideous.

Never tried snap camera but I have a copy of the Google photo sphere (awesome features) camera, this seems to give me much better stills and video compared to the gs3 stock camera. Pm me if you want it I'll forward it to you.

Can I install the 4.3 stock camera in 4.1?
Sorry I'm noop
Has anybody in their search for a good camera alternative ever run across one that has anything like the drama mode on the S4? I would love to have that. Thanks for any ideas you can provide.

Slightly off topic, I was playing around with the Touchwiz version of the camera for the i747M and it has the anti-shake feature that can be toggled on and off. Is that a HW or a SW based feature?
I like the Touchwiz customizations in some sense but the low DPI hurts my eyes
snap camera win here.
I use CameraJB+ and absolutely love it I used CameraICS+ on my Infuse 4G before this and it took better video and pics than the stock camera......
+1 for camera jb+
