Are there any FM radio app for CM9? I tried Spirit FM but didn't work. Also tempted to switch to JJHybrid but didn't like the long period between releases.
The latest CM9 has an FM radio app. There is even a nice skin for it in the Apps forum.

Which one? Can you post screenshots? Tried CM9 RC2 but no FM radio. Flashed JJHybrid ROM last night just for the FM radio app.
The FM Radio app has been available since FXP128 (CM9 RC1). I'm running FXP131 and it's in the app list as "FM Radio". No idea why you're not seeing it.
Try flashing FXP131 or download the "official" CM9 RC2 anzu release and see if it appears.

I flashed CM7 RC 1 and 3 but my GPS does not work at all. I have tried with Google Maps and GPS test but got no result, my GPS is dead....
I have a HTC Desire HD with:
Baseband 12.28e.60.140fP_ 26.04.02.17_M2
Kernel 2.6.32.28-cyanogenmod-gb17f070 android at giulio - desktop#1

I installed cyanogenmod 6.1.3 and GPS works great..... I was thinking that the problem may have been the radio but the same radio with the 6.1.3 works great, so I guess something wrong in the ROM CM7

Update your radio to the latest radio and it should work fine
SOLVED - GPS Problem with CM7
Last night I flashed Build # 6 of the RC1 and everything now works fine.....
which radio are we talking about? link?
You could try FasterFix from the Market. It should help.
You could also try to flash the Radio which the Devs recommend.

GPS status says I have 2 fixed satellites and fixes on them within seconds. Google maps cannot find my location when only gps is enabled. HTC desire hd cm7 rc4.

For my Desire HD a Speck case killed the GPS signal. Remove the case, GPS is fine???? A problem like this could mask a lot of suspected software problems since who would suspect the case?
Please help, on android 2.3 like GingerVillain or caynogen RC2 my GPS isn´t working. But when I install any 2.2 ROM it´s working fine. I tried reinstalling, changing radios, kernels but nothing help Can someone help me ?? (Sorry for my bad english)

now on Amtethyst 1.0 it´s working very good, but with with some other ROM it isn´t ....
This is a know bug in some AOSP ROMs - however in some of them it should be fixed.
Using CM7 with GPS, nothing wrong with it....
Didn't work for me on an older radio but works fine with the latest. Try using faster fix and GPS status from the market.

I guess since it still is the 32.56 release the RIL you mentioned should work fine.

Radio works great for the last few days.
Today I flashed radio-RIL_2.2.1003G and so far so good.
My data plan does not work with ril 2.2.1003 went back to 2.2.0028 and data works fine

I can just say that for now battery life is excellent ...39h - on 61% with "normal" use. GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth and data works ok.
P.S. I'm on MIUI 1.5.6 rom
No poblem here ... I'm on RcMix S 1.4 .
There is no newer RIL coming from Desire , there are several from Desire HD and S , didn't tried them .

So if I just installed the latest CM7 (7.0.3), will installing a later radio improve anything? I dunno what version comes with CM7 but the call quality is pretty crap, although I think thats just the area I live in.
My current radio version is 5.11.05.27.

I'm on 80% battery after 15 hours light use.
Got the fastest Speedtest result I've ever had. Seems to be functioning well.

Same here. Running CM 7.0.3. Tried both stock kernel and pershoot. Still no luck. A buddy of mine still is running CM7-RC2 and it works fine, so I am sure there is something somewhere that can be fixed.

Where did you guys install the Netflix app from? I am running CM 7.0.3, but unable to find it in Market.

same. audio for a few seconds on a black screen then the player quits back to the app menu.
app is on market website then pushed to phone for me but only audio for me
backed up first running latest night build and latest stable releases. updated flash to 10.3 still audio and no video.
I'm running CM7.0.0 using pershoot's .36 kernel. I got audio but no video. Upgraded flash player from 10.2 to 10.3 with no change. I have only tested it over wifi.
I read on one of the engadget comments that someone was running it successfully on cm7, but don't remember what phone.

Sorry, noob question: If I wanted to go back to stock to try out the app, do I just flash the stock rom/original ship rom?
I used market enabler to get it in canada, and it only works on my 2.2 stock sense rom, not cm7
I'm also having the same isssue with cm7 stable 7.0.2. I read the description and it had the device and the rom version so I'm assuming that for now the phone has to have the original stock rom

i heard some chatter that it worked on cm7 rc2 - hopefully someone can confirm. I posted a logcat of the error over on the cm nightly thread in the development forum. hopefully someone can patch this?
if you are on the latest cm stable build please logcat the error and submit a bug report on the cm bug tracker.

I just got my desire and put the MildWild CM-3.8 on. Everything is ok but GPS is not working at all. I can turn it on but there is no GPS sign in task bar in any app that is using it (Igo, sportstracker, gps status, z-device test)...
What to do?

I installed 3.7 and then 3.8 over and now it is working....
EDIT: Not solved I went running with app sportstracker and after 10 min the phone restarted. And started app again and it restarted again after 2 minutes...So there is something wrong with GPS in this ROM....
I will go to another ROM. Does anybody know if there is the same problem with MildWild V-3.5 Based on Oxygen 2.3.2 ?

I've had all latest Mildwild oxygen releases, and flashing the agps fix it all works.

I used fasterfix app on CM 3.7, and GPS works while running My Tracks and Runkeeper at the same time. Haven't tested CM 3.8 yet.

settings->location and security->gps source->use internal antenna

I tryed out new MildWild V-3.6 Based on Oxygen 2.3.2 + GPS fix + new kernel 2.6.35.14_r4. Went running with sportstracker + music from stock player and there was no problem... This is realy great rom . Thx MildWild !
