Bugs on ICS BETA need to fix

Sorry if repost here!!!
Since I use ics beta I found some bugs.
1. Xperia play launcher n pspocket (semcsuite.apk n pspocket.apk) not launched automatically if slide open when I enable onscreen button navigation
2. Semcphone or dialpad and stock music player not fit on screen when onscreen button navigation enabled.
3. It has a red line when I playing asphalt game.
Here I attach the screenshoot coz I dont know how to explained.. (i am the one stupid guys).

That is indeed weird, but remember it's still a beta. It still has bugs, otherwise it would've been released. Maybe you should try another rom, I'm using CM9 and it works like a charm.. almost.

Question for Instagram users running CM9?

Hi there,
Ever since i've updated my Instagram, it won't let me upload any pictures at all and either gets my phone stuck or crashes every time. Want to know if any other P930 CM9 users are facing this issue or if there is any other fix around it?

Same here. Using the app for just browsing other photos seems to work but whenever I try to upload; it begins to stall and eventually crash. I tried cheating it by not using the filters and immediately uploading it but then it either crashes or takes forever to process and the photo ends up black or this strange black/matrix-y look.
I love the this RC, it's blazing fast compared to my stock gingerbread. With little to no problems since I've been testing it. Anyone know a work-around? Keep it up and thanks for the hard work.
p.s I'm using the P930 At&t Nitro HD.

That's exactly the same issue I have. From what I've read it might be an OpenGL issue... but I'm not going to pretend like I know what that means. Besides that, this RC is running so smoothly. Its awesome. Guess we'll just have to wait.

Neither the ICS leak nor CM9 will run the editing pane of Instagram. I've e-mailed the App developers, they said they will not touch an unofficial build. I've been through multiple updates for Instagram, none worked any better.

For what it's worth, it works in CM10 build 07/26 for me. Maybe you guys would like to update

I actually might try that, do you have any major problems using CM10? My only problems with CM9 is instagram and random speaker volume changes. (which can be deal breakers)

Well there are still some bugs in CM10 and a bunch of features haven't been forward-ported yet, but it's definitely coming along nicely. One bigger bug it has right now is video seems to intakill the OS and reboot after a few seconds.

Well, that was fast lol. Ricardo just put an update out that should fix video crashing. Man, that guy is awesome.

instagram doesn't work anymore with the latest nightly released 24-08-12.

[SOLVED] Losing app settings after reboot on JB

Ok, maybe someone has an idea here:
I started installing custom roms on my HOX a few weeks ago, and started with InsertCoin (ICS) because of the stability. Everything worked - this is my goto Nandroid backup, and I'm going back to it a lot. Now I've been playing around with Jelly Bean roms, specifically LorD's Ice Cold Jelly 0.7 AOKP and tbalden's CM 10 Alpha 1.2.
I had a couple of problems with the former, and everything seems to work fine with the latter, except a very strange issue I have with both. For some reason, a reboot resets all my apps' setting. This is most in the Launcher (Nova AND Apex, same problem), where all the widgets I have added disappear after every reboot, and my custom keyboard choice, Swiftkey. After every reboot, swiftkey is disabled, and the stock keyboard is back.
Since everything works fine with ICS, I've been thinking maybe there is some security setting or the like that prevents my changes from being saved?
I'd appreciate any ideas - I really like Jelly Bean!

I'm using CM10 Alpha 1 v2 from tbalden and don't have any of this problems. I'm using Trebuchet though, so maybe it's a launcher-based problem?

I just checked. Trebuchet also loses widgets after reboot for me. Is it possible that it's just some apps that aren't JB-ready yet that are reset every time (like Advanced Clock Widget, for example)?

I know, that would have required reading the clearly marked 'Issues' section for the ROM you were about to flash, and that would have been far too much effort.

Dude, thank you. I had read everything before installing the ROM, but then forgot about this after experiencing the issue. I will try this solution immediately!

Happens in the best of families It did get resolved, thank you again. Now that both Apex and Nova are working, I just have to make up my mind which launcher to use ...

[Q] Any Suggestions Please???

Hey guys how are you all today? My name is jeff and yes im a newb here lol...i kinda need some help.....i have a rooted S3 running CM 10.1 nightlys, gapps from goo.im and a zip of the 4.2 camera....Now, first off, I would like to say I love CM and i think they do an amazing job....but lately ive been having so many problems. When i boot up i immediately get a force close from Youtube, my camera and gallery crash often, in my app drawer i have 2 cameras and 2 gallerys but when i go to manage apps to disable the stock 4.1 camera so i can only see the 4.2 cam....neither of them show up in app manager. Appolo gets a force close once and a while..my phone freezes up etc...Basically, im just starting to have alot of problems and it is now to the point where i feel like going back to stock rom would ease the headaches...Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a somthing i can do to make this all run smoother? I would just like to have 4.2.2 WITH Photosphere AND all the google apps. Im thinkng that the version of the camera im running is outdated and maybe there is a better one i can flash?? Or is there a ROM out there that is stable that i might like? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you all in advance and have a great day!!

Paranoid Android, when used with the PA gapps, has photosphere and is pretty stable.

It also sounds like you need to do a full wipe and try again. Lots of issues that shouldn't be issues for the latest releases of anything let alone cm10.1

I know right....i havent had this many problems with CM in the past. But i just did a full wipe, both wipes as well as the dalvik and it was after that i began to have the problems? Ill give it another try! Thanks again!

[Q] Subway Surfer

I've noticed this on all my Custom PAC MAN roms, I'm able to install the Subway Surfer app, but when I click on the icon to play the game. All I get is a black screen on my phone. Is there a way to play this game on this rom, or will I have to get a new rom to play?

Seems like a silly deal breaker to me....but so you know, I've seen this posted in other 4.2.2 threads. So its not just pac man.
Maybe try a 4.1.2 rom, or find a different game.

Me and my girlfriend "compete" against each other, and since I lost my iPhone, this is the only phone I have that I can download the game and play. Since it looks like a 4.2.2 problem, I'll probably get a 4.1.2 rom and see if it work, but thank you for your help:good:

I've noticed the same problem not only with subway surfers but other games as well. Ever since 4.2.2 CM 10.1 and 10.1.1 I had to revert back to 4.1.2 myself because the games that I play on the regular don't work with 4.2.2 or 4.3
Hopefully there's a fix for it soon.
For now I'll stick with LiquidSmooth 2.9
