[Q] How to disassociate old installed application from market?

I just rooted my dhd and i noticed that my market account shows how installed all my old applications. Is possible to update the status of the market with the only apps actually installed?
I have the same issue. I installed some applications back when they did all the 10p apps, and some of them weren't very good. They still appear in my market as "not installed".
Not a major problem but it's just one of those small things in life that shouldn't bother me but does lol
Those app will remain there as you now own those apps as you have paid for them, i think what the OP is meaning, there are free apps that show in the market under your settings that you no longer have installed and have not had them installed for a long time but they still show in the market
uninstall the app
Open the market
Press the menu button, settings, remove search history
This only works on non paid for apps.
Only other way is to set up a new google account
Swyped
I discovered that Titanium Backup provides an interesting function. You can disassociate all your apps from market.

Help: Market enabler for installing apps which say 'not supported in your country'

I've Galaxy nexus, and the market is updated to Play store (latest android market). I've Codename Android ICS version installed. Need help installing apps from Play store which say "Not supported in your country". I installed 'Market enabler', and pointed it to T-mobile US, Verizon US, but still no use. Can someone please help me with this?
Having the same issues here ..
You should probably email the app creator instead of asking here...
I was asking if there's any alternative for market enabler which works with Play store...plz suggest
theres no alternative to that just yet...
if you really just want to uninstall apps just do it thru settings > apps ot download titanium backup and uninstall them from there

Clear casche and then force stop
Run market enabler to fake whatever provider you want then restart the play store.

to purchase apps you need to have a Google wallet account registered somewhere that actually supports purchasing apps from the market.

Hi I have a question following what you said. I have a friend who wants to buy a app but he can't do it in his country. He said he found the .apk but somehow it still could not work. So I was thinking maybe he needs Market enabler. If he has it and I buy the app and give him the .apk file, could he then install the app?
Thanks

Google Talk

where can i download it? Running on N7100.
Well...i'm not trying to be an @$$hole but, have you tried the Google Play Store? Every Android phone i've had has been able to dl it straight from there. Only some of my tablets couldn't see it in there.
If you have tried the Play Store and couldn't see it, then you can usually get a backup apk from one of your other Android devices (using titanium backup) and then copy that over to your Note and install it that way.
Hope that helps.
It doesn't show up in my play store, so it could be a regional thing.

Removind adware from my S3

I downloaded something of the play store and now I get this notification of thing I would be interested in buying. The icon that appears is a red star. How can I remove this? I really do not want to wipe and reload lol I'm using Carbon rom.
Download the app Adaway...you need to be rooted to use it though

Sounds like you're getting AirPush style ads. You can download this app from the Play Store to find out which app is causing it, then you can either remove the offending app or see if there is an opt out app, like this one of AirPush.
The first app should tell you which company the ads are powered by, just search the play store for an opt out for that particular company (if they have one).
Good luck!

whatsapp not showing up after installing

hi. when i download whatsapp from google play store or through website its wont show up after installing ...any help ?
from amazon store whastapp version is outdated.so its also not work
I'm stuck on this too. It said the whatsapp version is outdated and the app is disabled. The amazon appstore does not have an updated version either,
Same.... Stupid fire phone, I'm debating what phone I want to jump ship for.
But I did find that if you install the APK from the google play store, it prompts if you want to run the app after installing it. When you run it, it shows up in your recent apps on the horizontal bar of previously opened apps. You can lock it in place there, but it won't show up in your app drawer. Go figure though, did we really expect support for a dead phone?
I just installed from play store and it shows up OK. I'm using a third party launcher though. Are you all on stock - if so, why? Or on a different Rom?

I think the problem all of you are having is that you have a copy of WhatsApp in your Amazon cloud. If you delete the app from your Amazon cloud apps and re-install WhatsApp from Google Play, the app's icon should also be installed.
