I've been really enjoying ICS, but there is not enough free ram for me, so I have decided to go back to GB unfortunately, I can't find much on xda about GB ROMs so I was wondering if someone could tell be what the best ROM for GB is? Thanks!!

Arconium 8.2 or CM 7.2 are meant to be excellent.

I made the step back to gb. It certainly feels better for me. I'm currently trying out this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797812 and its running fine

I'm guessing a downgrade from an ICS custom ROM would need a computer at some point?

You'd need to boot a gb kernel or flash a gb rom, so yep.

SE.tweaked is an excellent rom for arcs. Lightweight, fast, full function and nice customization. Cheers.

Thanks but I've decided to stay on JJ's for now, I used V6 supercharger and it really speeded up my device and made games playable

No, that's why it's referred to as an ICS kernel.

VitoM, your best bet is to read through the ROM threads, and you will get a good feel for which ones are good and aren't quite as popular. While I appreciate you're trying to get other user input, it is not going to do much for you. You need to remember that each ROM may act a little bit differently for each person/device depending on who you flashed/what apps you have installed.
hello everyone.
I'd like your opinion, that it is the best rom based on the stock.
I prefer Roma jb but clearly the camera is very bad, so it s why I go back to the ics.
I am under the Xtxperience 8.1 but it is not very fluid at home.
Thank you for your help
You have KA Speed, XTX and MIUI based on stock only.

the MIUI is not stable but I think a long time ago, it is better now?

I highly recommend you using dual boot Mod to get both smoothness from JB and quality camera from stock ICS.

Install the ROM you want to be the native one, install dual boot kernel (optional: install any kernel you want for native ROM, but search for it in the Dual Boot kernel thread). Then search for the ROM you want for loop and install it (always from the Dual Boot thread, or it won't work).

Is there any way to get ICS stock on r800x? I saw a lot of stock based ROMs but they were all only gsm. I don't care if service works just want a booting ROM. I know r800x didn't get ICS beta but are there any that work or have been ported. Thanks

You can already install ics. You just need to flash Doom's ics beta kernel then flash rom via CWM. The install process is the same as installing any custom roms into your device. You wont get phone service btw.

Try using whatever kernel you want, what is very important is that flash the correct FTF. Try using an R800x FTF and flash any kernel and ROM. Also you can try using a CDMA Neo L ICS Firmware (If there's any) and flashing it without the kernel, just flash an ICS Xperia Play kernel...
sadly there is no cdma version of neo l i think because i couldnt find one. Thanks anyway. (already used my 8 for today but ill thank you tomorrow. its free so why not )

hey what's a good bloat ware removal app or is there a good gaming ics ROM that has lots of storage space
Sent from my R800x using xda app-developers app
A good bloatware removal app would be titanium backup, 'cause it let you choose which software to uninstall... An ICS ROM that is almost a clean rom, would be the Hybrid ROM by Krisdee...

I have an R800x with unlocked bootloader. I've flashed the Lupus GB kernel and I'm looking for a good gaming ROM. There don't seem to be too many choices for a GB rom on r800x with CDMA service. I'm guessing COLA or Darkforest are my only choices? Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!

Your Rom looks great! Quick question. I am guessing that the google navigation app is removed in the Rom? If so can I back it up with Titanium and restore it in your Rom? Thanks!
