Hi guys I have a small problem ...when i turn on my phone i type PIN and i confirm it after 1 sec or so of loading my phone reboots and its happening over and over again even when i turn off the phone it turns on on its own i have to remove battery then i can go to recovery.... i tried to turn on phone without SIM and its working without problem .... i know that it could be SIM card problem i will try another if i will have a chance ... but any other suggestions? actually wiping everything or reflashing ROM or even flashing another ROM didnt help me... Ok I tried another SIM card but problem remains the same...now it rebooted even without SIM .... i faced this problem before but i always solved it somehow..i just flashed other ROM and it worked ...i dont know

After rooting my htc one X and flashing the Viper X rom in it, i had some problems rebooting my phone when the battery is lower than 20%.
I restored my official rom back Android 4.1.1 sense version 4+ (that i have recovered from CWM) but i'm still facing the same issue after my battery drops down to 20% sometimes the phone turns off by itself or if im playing a game and some other times if I reboot it (when the battery is below 20%) it starts to the home screen when it say preparing SIM card it turns off. I removed the SIM card and turned it on it started to the home screen and everything went ok but after installing the SIM card it shuts down immediately!
Is there anyways to fix this problem?
Is it a software or a hardware malfunction ?

Hi Guys,
I have this strange error with my One X. When it's on low battery and i enter my SIM pincode my phone reboots.
When i remove my simcard from my phone it just boots up and nothing is wrong. if i put my sim card back in, still nothing wrong, but as soon as I've entered my pincode and it tries to unlock my simcard, the screen turns black and the phone either reboots or i have to turn it on by pressing the power button.
To test if this was my ROM (Android revolution HD 22.0) or not I've also installed CM 10.1 (full wipe, also dalvik + cache) and waited till my battery got a bit low. And it happened with CM10.1 as well! when my phone got to around 20% the phone just turned off without any warning and kept rebooting as i tried to unlock my SIMcard, and yet again when I removed the SIM, it just turned on normally and nothing was wrong.
Does anyone else have this problem? I've run completely out of options of what to test finding out what it could be...
Maybe its the simcard, did you try another one ? (From somebody else)

Are you have this only in low battery or all the time? How many% of the battery you see when you have this problem. If it is too low have simple explanation!!!
Did you ever find a solution? Mine keeps doing this as well.

Yes, Sorry I never updated this post. I've sent my phone back to HTC, apparently the battery was broken and wifi antenna was not working properly. They've repaired it free of charge
Hi, everyone
I got promblem with my HTC DHD, it appeared the notice to "force close" many app all time so I cant do anything on my phone. I tried to re-up rom by sd card, everything was in normal process during flashing rom until i reboot the system after finishing flashing, it was stuck on logo screen althought i take time to wait, it was still stuck. I dont know how to shut it down or restart so i took the battery out for a while and put it back then power on again. The strange thing is it didnt show the rom i've just flashed, it worked with everything same like before flashing rom (require pass to unlock device, home screen, apps... Speicially is the error "force close" still same) . I wiped data, cache and everything before flashing. I tried to restart many times but same problem, sometimes stuck on logo screen, sometimes boot to old rom.
Then I decided to up the ship rom by laptop, after running RUU...exe file, it aks me to update the rom version for device without other option. I click update and wait, It appear the error (#171) and ask me to check the cable connection but 100% nothing wrong with the cable or connection. I tried to redo this several times as well but still same. My friend said the emmc chip is damaged and need to replace.
Could anyone help me? I still can go to recovery, hboot/fastboot screen. If emmc chip damaged, i think we still can fix it by software because it not dead.

Same problem here with one desire hd. Force closing many apps and wipe/flashing new rom doesn't help at all. Guess it's the emmc chip, indeed.
Am having issues with my M8 I got from ebay. It will work like for a week then reboots shows no simcard and a blank IMEI(IMEI shows in Fastboot). sometimes a restart will do the trick, other times it'll take a day or two then it start functioning properly. I've tried flashing a custom rom the problem still appears. am currently runing a Stock MM Sense rom. Any help will be appreciated.
for the past week my G3 wasn't reading the sim card well and i had to restart it every time in order to get the sim to work again, untill the last time the sim card wasn't working at all so i went and had my sim replaced with a new one and it worked for like 5 mins then the phone crashed and went into bootloop..
i only see thhe LG logo and the phone never manges to turn on..
i tried a different battery but nothin changed so now i think there is no solution but to do a factory reset, the problem is that i have alot of important files on my phone which i haven't backed up.. is there anyway i can recover these files before doing the reset option???
