Recovery with capacitive buttons enabled? - HTC Wildfire S

Hey,
My friend has CWM recovery with capacitive keys working for scrolling and selecting options. Since i have iffy Vol - and power keys, i would like to enable that in my CWM recovery. Any help is appreciated.

Your friend likely has an hdpi phone. Koush decided not to bless us with a bug less touch cwm. So until a dev decides they want to rework a whole recovery just to make touch work, we are stuck.

[WFSDev][.sense]Easy Installer

Hello Guys,
This installer is based on:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24490174
Download:

That's just genius I never thought about doing a rom installer like that

And what does you mean?
P.S.: In theorie it is possible to install each rom with this method

If you would have PM'ed me earlier I could have posted this
May I ask what options does it choose for you and is it configurable for different devices. Also what version of .sense is it?
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S using xda premium
Is it the beta 2.0.1 version with the OC Kernel
And it can be used for every HTC device. You can reinsert another system.img so you can use every Rom you ever had
More you find here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24490174
@ONeill123-plz advise people to wipe data before using this......i got stuck at the boot animation while installing....It booted completely only on wiping data
No,
and the answer to the question why:
because this installer is like a RUU (Rom Update Utility). That means, that your data has to be stored to use in the newer version of the rom, too. Without backup or something else.
ONeill
I think the problem might be that I used this installer over CM7...can't think of anything else

***** Guess Who! *****

I'm still here, so I'm going to use this account now cause my other 2 are disabled.

[STOCK ROM] HTC Asia India 2.13.720.1 FLASHABLE ZIP!

It is here! The 2.13.720.1 stock flashable zip!
Yes, you heard it right. A stock rom flashable zip. No jokes here.
Prerequisites:
Rooted Phone
ClockWorkMod Recovery / TWRP 2.2
This ROM is unrooted. Nothing is added in this. Pure stock.
Note:- I haven't added a radio.img in this, so it will keep your radio, HBOOT, etc. You will only have the ROM.
If you are using this for warranty purposes, I suggest you flash the stock recovery back from my other thread here.
Now, copy the zip to the root of your SD Card.
Reboot into recovery.
Wipe EVERYTHING! i.e. Factory Reset, Dalvik Cache, System, Boot.
Then flash the zip from the SD card and you're good to go. Once done, reboot and your stock 2.13.720.1 is there.

I already unlocked the phone. I'm not new to rooting just new to this phone. I've been around here for a while. I started out with one of the first androids that shipped with Android 1.5 on it LOL. Its just the whole marvel and mavelc thing. I know one marvel is gsm and marvelc is CDMA but there are more then one version of each. Can I flash any gsm ROM no matter what the base is as long as its gsm marvel?
My other phones only had at most 2 versions of the phone. Since I was mostly on sprint for years I owned a Samsung Moment, lg optimus s, Evo 4g and an Evo 3d. On T-Mobile I have the my touch 4g and this. All of then I've unlocked and modded and none were as confusing as this one.
Thanks for the help.

Make that 3! I have a base made for this device. I just need a damn recovery to add to it so I can release it! lol
Why not just wait until HTC puts the stock recovery on their support page?
The device just came out 2 months ago, i do not think anyone will be willing to tinker with their device at the risk of bricking it when its so new..
What exactly do you guys need?

Thing is, you can't. You need at least temp root to pull the kernel or recovery. Stupid HTC encrypted their RUU so we can't just pull the file out.

We need a person to teamviewer with us so we can pull boot.IMG ( to make an unsecure boot IMG that gives you root ) and recovery. IMG ( so me or another fellow dev I know can make a custom recovery ) so this way development sparks.

Yo guys!
HTC wildfire here, rooted s-off 1.01 BUT without clockwork recovery. Which version is best for this phone (most recent?) and would i just flash it through fastboot?
Cheers
EDIT: Also if someone could recommend a nice stable ROM it'd be greatley apreciated
Most recent cwm is 6. Look in the development section. However the best mod I would suggest is cmw5 because it is more stable. The most stable room is either a sense rom or cm 7. It is your preference. Do you prefer gb or sense froyo.

A nice ics rom that you should try, aokp v5 light, miui v4 (2.5) and cm7.It change your wildfire interface.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda app-developers app
aokp light has some bugs, but runs quite smooth, as for the cmw, 6 is the most stable.
there are a lot people who has issues when they are installing rom via cwm6. in wildfire's case, newer thing, is not always better thing. nowadays android gets more and more updated so also root stuff do and wildfire often can't handle those new things. personally i use cwm 3.0.2.8 since i have rooted my phone and i have no issues with it at all. even roms which have aroma.installer included work great
