It is here! The 2.13.720.1 stock flashable zip!
Yes, you heard it right. A stock rom flashable zip. No jokes here.
Prerequisites:
Rooted Phone
ClockWorkMod Recovery / TWRP 2.2
This ROM is unrooted. Nothing is added in this. Pure stock.
Note:- I haven't added a radio.img in this, so it will keep your radio, HBOOT, etc. You will only have the ROM.
If you are using this for warranty purposes, I suggest you flash the stock recovery back from my other thread here.
Now, copy the zip to the root of your SD Card.
Reboot into recovery.
Wipe EVERYTHING! i.e. Factory Reset, Dalvik Cache, System, Boot.
Then flash the zip from the SD card and you're good to go. Once done, reboot and your stock 2.13.720.1 is there.

Hi I have a real noob question. With all the different varieties of this phone I have to ask if this will fully work for the T-Mobile usa WFS? Someone just gave me this phone and I wanted to start doing a little development for it and I'm looking for a good base to give me a little head start.
TIA for any replies.

First of all, welcome to the Wildfire S community!
Could you tell me whether yours is a CDMA Or A GSM? That would be a deciding factor.

I already unlocked the phone. I'm not new to rooting just new to this phone. I've been around here for a while. I started out with one of the first androids that shipped with Android 1.5 on it LOL. Its just the whole marvel and mavelc thing. I know one marvel is gsm and marvelc is CDMA but there are more then one version of each. Can I flash any gsm ROM no matter what the base is as long as its gsm marvel?
My other phones only had at most 2 versions of the phone. Since I was mostly on sprint for years I owned a Samsung Moment, lg optimus s, Evo 4g and an Evo 3d. On T-Mobile I have the my touch 4g and this. All of then I've unlocked and modded and none were as confusing as this one.
Thanks for the help.

Hi Everyone!.. New to XDA and it's really helpful.
However, I am unable to find the answer to my query...
I have a HTC Wildfire S. Great phone don't get me wrong. I updated the software to 2.3.5 and I've hated it ever since Everyone moans about the "lock screen" but I don't have a problem with that. It's the fact it's slower and I am unable to root it.
Hence my question.. can you downgrade a WFS to 2.3.3 from 2.3.5?
All help would be appreciated
Yes, you can.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445867
you can do it , but also you can root it ! since you have an unlocked bootloader or s-off you can get permanent root using superoneclick , and flash custom recoveries and others !
downgrade from 2.3.5 to 2.3.3

Guess what? It's old thread bump time!
My father wants to take my old Wildfire S (GSM) as I don't need it anymore ('updated' to Nexus 4). However I had CM7 on it and he disliked it for being different than Sense he knew from his Desire Z. I installed custom Sense 3.5 but he didn't fancy it either.
I can go back to stock 2.3.5 Android as I have it in my CWM backup folder in PC, but I know it will work similar to what I have now, that's why I need a tutorial how to go back to stock 2.3.3.
TL;DR - I must flash stock 2.3.3 on GSM Marvel.
Thanks in advance

but be careful

Let's wait for football to publish it, so we can know for sure what it contains. I wouldn't mind going back to stock roms if they did things right.
There was a recent update to Sense 3.5 in Chinese Roms (if I'm not mistaken...), so maybe it's the European/US update...
Could someone put this package updates.

The Droid and the red triangle is because the recovery cannot find certain apps in system/app
You will have to either restore all deleted apps or install from ruu. But you will loose all your data.the update has fixed the multi touch issue. That's all I've noticed so far.
Is it still 2.3.5?

Ok, as some may or may not know, there are 2 completely diff versions of the One V as of right now. Codenames: PrimoU and PrimoC.
PrimoU:
The phone that cant be bought in the US. The "international" version.
PrimoC:
This is the Virgin Mobile version of the same phone.
It is very important that you know the diff. Kernels and custom roms won't matter to much as they are easy enough to reflash and recover from. RUU's on the other hand WILL brick your device. Had the same issue with Marvel and MarvelC.
But you think to yourself, "same device, I can flash an RUU/rom/kernel from the other." Congrats, you have a $200 paper weight.
Just thought I would put this out there so people can be informed before just going all flash crazy.
Note: Do not panic if you flashed the wrong ROM from fastboot! It's not a hard brick, just flash stock recovery/rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1748684 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1747936, and you'll be back to square one in no time.
But, yeah, using the wrong RUU directly will ruin you. Don't do it.
A mod should sticky this

Hi,
My htc one X arrived today, a little lost so i need some help:
Install a custom rom for 4.0.4 android or go to a 4.1.1 android official rom?
Thanks
Official is still 4.0.3, you can find roms with 4.0.4, i will prefer Arhd and.4.1 jelly bean you can go for cm10.

Hi! You should first go to htcdev.com and unlock the bootloader. You can see a tutorial in the development forums.
Good luck and enjoy your one X!
Just a warning unlocking the bootloader will void warranty.

Yo guys!
HTC wildfire here, rooted s-off 1.01 BUT without clockwork recovery. Which version is best for this phone (most recent?) and would i just flash it through fastboot?
Cheers
EDIT: Also if someone could recommend a nice stable ROM it'd be greatley apreciated
Most recent cwm is 6. Look in the development section. However the best mod I would suggest is cmw5 because it is more stable. The most stable room is either a sense rom or cm 7. It is your preference. Do you prefer gb or sense froyo.

Red Led on the phone keeps on even when unplugged from charger when the phone is off,you need to pull the battery to switch it back on.

A nice ics rom that you should try, aokp v5 light, miui v4 (2.5) and cm7.It change your wildfire interface.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda app-developers app
aokp light has some bugs, but runs quite smooth, as for the cmw, 6 is the most stable.
there are a lot people who has issues when they are installing rom via cwm6. in wildfire's case, newer thing, is not always better thing. nowadays android gets more and more updated so also root stuff do and wildfire often can't handle those new things. personally i use cwm 3.0.2.8 since i have rooted my phone and i have no issues with it at all. even roms which have aroma.installer included work great
