i really cant help myself
Paying MONEY for anyone who can get my device out of this boot loop
Fastboot and adb are 2 different things this would be a good place to start keep your kindle well charged in the meantime http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552547 . I gave you clear instructions on setting up soupkit if it's just a matter of resetting your bootmode that will be quite simple but I believe there is more to it than just that hence the need for soupkit.

You didn`t stay online long enough for someone to actually help you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1660636 . Your situation isn't rare and not unlike literally like hundreds of others who come to the Kindle Fire forums. For the most part it's usually driver related. I wouldn't accept your money even if it were offered.
Thanks alot Pooch it worked and i intalled a custom ROM " Janecandy "
All i did was
Installed ADK
Got into ADB
and Ran the commands provided by thepooch
HELP
I have a Kindle fire 1st generation, I rooted it but i didn't install any ROMs or android operating system. I got this app called rom toolbox and I deleted the kindle operating system now when I turn on my Kindle it has the stock bootlogo and it stays that way. I've read and read and read and I've come to the conclusion that my device is doing exactly what it should, running the bootloader and waiting for some operating system to take over. I didn't have TWRP installed, and I didnt use KFU to root my device I used this app called Key Root Master (VER 1.3.6), and in every thread the person used KFU or TWRP so I dont know what do please help me.
I installed the driver provided with the KFU before I ever hooked it up to the PC. Started the utility but it says ADB status offline and boot status unknown. So I checked out some youtube videos and I noticed everybody's kindle in device manager shows up as ADB Composite Device or something similar. Mine just shows up as Kindle. I for the life of me can't get it to change after many tutorials on how to. No matter what, even after uninstalling, it automatically goes to Portable Device Kindle. Can somebody help me please? I know somebody will just point me to a different thread but if you could, just let me know what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it. Thanks.
Is it a first gen. Kindle? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923010 and second post here goes into driver specifics http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552547 .
Yes it's a first gen Kindle that I just bought and I installed the exe that was included in the KFU.
Just followed that guide through and it did nothing. The one thing it says though is that if the driver doesn't install correctly, uninstall the driver and check the delete software option. I'm not getting that option at all. Still doesn't show up as android phone or adb composite device. One thing I did though, is run it as an administrator and that at least got ADB to say online. Boot status is still unknown though.

Must be a sign You mean the drivers run.bat file? What os ?
I have a few different things downloading to attempt a fix but I'd like a list of everything I should try to make sure I don't overlook anything. I was rooting and a driver had an issue apparently and now I'm stuck with a boot logo (it doesn't dim at all). I don't have a recovery because the root method failed. I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them and I'm attempting to use Kindle Fire Unbrick Utility but it keeps telling me "error: device not found" and I'm assuming I'm not installing the drivers correctly. Can anyone help me out? It would greatly appreciated.
Edit: I feel like an idiot. I ran Kindle Fire Utility and used option 1 to reset fastboot to 4000. Sorry for cluttering up the thread, but maybe someone will read this and it'll help them.
I was trying to root my first gen 6.2.3 with KFU and now its stuck on the kindle fire logo can anybody help me I don't know what to do.
It is my first time so I have no idea if it is even in fastboot mode, in device manager it says the drivers are not installed and shows an exclamation mark, nothing else recognizes it! Please help!
I tried to install twrp and now my kindle fire hd 8.9 and now it does a boot loop. I've tried to get into the fast boot or use the kindle fire unbrick utility but the reboot doesn't let it get a chance to connect. I believe I used the wrong twrp version and or messed up with a setting in the kindle flash app. I bought a factory/fastboot cable and want to know how to fix this. It's not here yet but I want to know how to fix it despite this. I've tried the majority of methods including the kindle utility. When I go to recovery it just hangs on a black screen. My computer recognizes it but ADB/Kindle Fire Utility do not. my PC recognizes it with a funny name and lets me open it and it's files. It's rooted and I don't know how to check bootloader. Thanks in advanced!
I am new at this myself, I was stuck in a bootloop myself & I to had trouble getting ADB to work, sounds as tho you don't have the drivers installed yet. The part in the directions that seems to be left out is to click on "show all" then click next. I waited forever for the list. So, control panel> device manager> (right click on the troubled device) >update drivers> pick from list> click " SHOW ALL"> hit next then at the bottom> wait for it, wait, waiting. When the list comes up, go down to Google and click it> click next, i think it was, then you should see ADB drivers. If it worked you should now see your device in the device manager under Android device. Now I don't remember where I got the files to bring it back to stock but, I think under one of "DragonFire's" post he had perfect directions to recover back to stock, I think the files might be there as well. I hope this helps you, I too have yet to get a rom to flash right and have used the ADB to reset a few times now. Time for me to try to again
