I just bought the HTC one v, currently have the Optimus v running tdm's build of CM9 beta. I haven't activated my HTC yet 'cause I'm in no hurry. I assume it would be fine to unlock/root before activating.
Is this true? Thanks!
Yeah, as long as you're on the stock rom, you can activate the phone.

I just got the phone today and the phone is purely awesome. I am looking at all the threads about rooting but so far I see is for tegra 3 version. Anyone root their snapdragons htc one X yet?

I tried using the Tegra 3 method but to no avail. It boots just fine but it crashes if I try loading the recovery partition. Have to wait for someone to release the S4 version to root our babies.
you might want to be looking in the XL forums. i might be wrong.

You are spot on. The Snapdragons are not called the HTC One X. They are the HTC One XL. If you carry on flashing One X roms you'll end up with a bricked device.
Sorry, because this has probably been asked before. Do the ROMS on this forum work on the AT&T HOX or should I stay on that forum. Thanks

No, the phones are completely different.
Okay, I thought that they were but just double checking. Thanks!

Hello,
You definitively saw the new Google wallet, I was sad about the fact that is not available on our htc one x, but then I saw this thread:
http://www.modaco.com/topic/354635-region-device-root-patched-google-wallet-apk-11-r67-v12/
It's the old version but should work for HTC one x with free 10 bucks credit and this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1810118
The new version for sgs3.
Is it possible to port the new version for hox and make it work outside the US, like the old version, on CM10?
Thanks

Hello I recently picked up my friends HTC Evo 4g because he shattered the digitizer and LCD, but I unlocked the bootloader and rooted it for him. But before I give it back I'd like someone to appoint me to where the sense 4 beta Rom is. A few friends of mine and I want to try pushing this out to all of you, and also because I havent looked around yet did anyone successfully port sense 3.6? And is Radio a problem with any of the ports? Thanks

I know that sprint M9 model is 6.0.1
but others model is 6.0
When we receive 6.0.1 OTA?
Maybe you should ask Sprint. It is the carriers duty to give the green light for the roll out, as they surely add their own bloatware to the ROM provided by HTC.

HTC hasn't (yet?) released a 6.01 update for the M9.
If i remember correctly it should be april ish? I think i remember htc saying that they would release it early 2016 but seeing as it isn't a major update they might not update it at all with N being on the horizon.

HTC One M9 already got an M update on many a device. But there are still some carrier as sprint which didn't give the got to HTC for pushing it out to those carriers devices. In case of Sprint clearly Sprint is to blame for the still not arriving M update.

Not true. Sprint do not have to release 6.0. They could be doing a samsung and working on the 6.0.1 update as 6.0.1 is an emergency update to patch a bug in 6.0.
It purely depends on htc. Htc are responsible for sending the carrier a working rom for them to brand and bloat to their hearts content. Sprint may not be satisfied with htc produce.
