DOCK-ABLE Folio Case? - Xoom Accessories

Hi All,
Can anyone recommend a Xoom folio case that can sit in the dock?
I already have the Otterbox Defender, and the Belkin Verve. The Otterbox is great, however in my work satchel it is overkill and clunky (will be keeping it for travel though!). The Belkin Verve would be perfect however it does not sit in the dock.
I am not a fan of the leather/faux leather look either.
The Incipio Case has my attention, but I cannot seem to find whether it is dock-able. Does anyone have this case?
The Piel Frama is quite nice though, very expensive (and leather). Again, I am not sure if it is dock-able.
Any recommendations?

EDIT: the Incipio appears to be a 'quick release' type folio. That might be a good compromise. The Belkin Verve is a PITA to remove/insert.

What I want out of my case is something that I would be able to use with the car dock, makes the phone grippy, and protects it from scratches and light drops. (even though I've never dropped a phone) hehe

Any thoughts? I'd assume the feather would fit in the car dock better. But more expensive.

I'm using the Feather now and while I like it, I would like a little more protection. I have tried almost every case they have so far for the Atrix (Otterbox Defender, Otterbox Impact, Body Glove, some generic plastic snap-on, Speck Candyshell, and the Feather), but I haven't found one I like. Next up will be the Commuter case but I'm hoping the market will pick up for the Atrix. Best Buy should have a selection on March 27, which is what they told me anyways. They said that was supposed to be when the Atrix was to be released so they have to wait because that is when their orders are dated for.
The feather is worth the money IMO as it adds up to the phone's protection and appeal without adding bulk.
I like the fact that you can put it on and take it off very easily, that it's sturdy, that it has a great feel to it and that it makes the phone look better / more elegant than without. It also protects the screen as it raises a mimilimeter above the edges.
What I didn't like was the screen protector, but it's an extra and is not even advertised on the box, so that's fine with me.
Have a look at the pics in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=965128&page=3
I have the Otterbox Commuter & Incipio Feather cases. I prefer the Feather as it's not such a dust magnet like the Commuter is.
I have the Otter box commuter as well. The rubber does pick up a bit of pocket fuzz, but other than that it's great. Strong, not too bulky (the same dimensions as my iphone 3g with incase slider) and doesn't look bad either. It also makes the phone a bit less slippery.
Also, for what it's worth, I've read in other threads that folks can't get the Atrix to fit well in the car dock even with a case as thin as the feather.
Alright thanks for the replies. I went with the TPU because it's so cheap... Just want something to make the phone stay in my pocket better. Hopefully it's easy to take off and on for car dock. Because I want to keep the insert in because I enjoy a bit of aggressive driving.

I use the speck case and its pretty simple to take on and off for the car dock, even the otterbox defender takes me like 30secs max to take off

i got the body glove case. fits great. and its rubberized/plastic so it slides out of your pocket easily. ive already dropped it once. WOOPS. everything is fine though.
i have the armor protection that you get at the malls as well. that stuff si great!
After looking at cases I had it narrowed down to a speck or the feather. I chose the feather. With some googling I found a place that sells feathers for 13.99 even found a coupon for to take care of shipping. I ended up paying 15 and some change for it shipped. I'm looking forward to having a case for my phone. It may not offer as much protection as an otterbox but I like for looks of the feather a lot more.
I suggest this TPU Fusion Case that cost less that $5 shipped

Pictures look nice
the mirage is a good case. I have it
I currently have the Feather and its amazing. It fits nicely into the holster as previously stated by most users.
A little nice hint though, if u want protection from the bottom and top since the feather provides for only the sides and back of the phone, use a full body shield protector. They are thin and still allow for the Feather to cover over the phone nicely and they add protection for the top and bottom to compliment the Feather case.

anyone found out anything more about the cover mentioned in the HD dock manual or the adapter for the docks that allow them to take a phone in case
I just ordered the otterbox impact

[Q] Sleeve Options

I'm looking for a microfiber or neoprene type sleeve for the Galaxy Tab 10.1. I've found the Samsung Leather Sleeve, which wouldn't be horrible, but I am not a huge fan of leather.
I really like RadTech's Sleevz for MacBook's, but they don't have the right size.. Something similar would be fantastic.
I don't like those cases that hold the unit and open like a book. When I want to use this thing, it will be coming out of the case.
Anyone have one or seen any?
I've been looking for a nice sleeve/pouch for awhile. I just order the Waterfield Xoom sleeve to see how it fits. Waterfield makes some great high-quality sleeves.

I've seen their stuff before. It's quite nice... although maybe a bit more bulky than I am hoping for.
How close is the Xoom 10.1 to the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in size? I was actually also looking at MacBook Air 11" cases, but they don't work.
They're very close in dimensions, except the 10.1 is obviously quite thinner. The 10.1 is only 6mm longer and 3mm wider which are tiny amounts so any Xoom sleeve should fit fine, it'll prolly just have some wiggle room because of the difference in thickness.
Waterfield also has a slip in sleeve like the one your looking for, for the Xoom.
I asked Waterfield about these. They believe the Sleevecase will fit, but the tablet will stick out of the xoom "Slipcase".
They also said to expect new sizes in the coming weeks.

That is a nice sleeve, wish it had the right size...
I just got a sleeve from Amazon today. It's for ipad and made by Philips. I would post a link but I have to have 8 post first. It's black and red and fits great. Plus its reversible and for $10, you can't beat it. Just search "ipad sleeve Philips"
I got this for $5.00 with free shipping. It fits nicely. What a deal!

Hey I have a sleeve I ordered custom made from Etsy, it came late so I had already bought the belkin one. So now I have a case and a sleeve that I don't need. I'll sell it to you if you want it. I've never used it so it's new.
Check some pics here: http://imgur.com/XjyrS&83NSp&7hnXx&isTnP
Sleeve is padded with cotton inner lining... pretty neat for those who don't like conventional tablet sleeves.

soon to be xoom owner

i'm ready to purchase a xoom and looking for a good case i know otterbox makes good stuff but i hear it makes the tablet extra bulky is there another good recommendation ?
This one looks pretty good.
Has anyone purchased this Incipio case?
There are a few others on the XDA forum here who said the Incipio case is really good. But as far as non-folio cases go, I really like the Body Glove Phantom. It's sleek, snug, and still gives great access to the ports while still giving the protection.
The otterbox rubber sleeve is fine on its own, its only when you put the shell part on that it becomes too bulky, imho of course, I have since stopped using my otterbox and now just use the motorola folio case.
Staples has the Moto folio case for $10 on clearance but didn't like it. I ended up getting the Moto gel case because I don't have to take it off to fit the desktop dock.

I tried the Otterbox case but it was too bulky for me. I tried a cheaper CaseLogics case I got from Ebay which worked great with modifications but didn't hold up to well after a few months. I also tried the gel back but was always anxious that I might damage my screen in transit. I finally got the original Moto folio case made for the Xoom and it is the best one I've tried for my needs. Easy access and minimal bulk with built in stand/prop capability. I haven't even taken the Xoom out of it since I put it on a month ago. It is super slim but if you need the extra protection go with the Otterbox.
Same here!
I actually bought mine off refurb at WOOT.
They're having it for 329.99

Having a tough time deciding on a case

I thought about getting the ballistic case, but I honestly don't need something that big unless I'm out in the field in the military, and for those I don't bring my tablets, the phone is good enough
now I'm looking at the slim cases just for basic protection and I have found a few
Here are my choices -
AYL® High Quality Slim Leather Case Folio
This one is nice, but no prime on amazon (I like to use that feature for fast free shipping and get my money's worth lol) but I think the ratings are skewed because the company sends you a stylus pen if you write a positive review... so everyone is rating the damn thing a 5 star. it's ridiculous and I can't trust the reviews on that thing because of it...
Body Glove Moto Xoom Phantom Case
It's an inexpensive case that seems ok like a not as tough ballistic case, but no screen cover which I kind of want (and no tablet stand)
Acase Slim Leather Folio Case
This thing seems identical to the AYL and I can't tell a damn difference, and it has prime. some people said it doesn't stay put when you have it on tilt while you type though...
rooCASE Executive Portfolio (Black) Leather Case Cover
Now I really like this one and it looks professional but no stand for it, so I don't know about that...
Snugg Motorola Xoom Case Cover and Flip Stand
Just a very sleek nice looking case, I love that white sticthing
I just bought the rooCase and it's nice...a bit bulky, not really slim, unless you use the inner sleeve by itself, but it's very protective and the case doubles as a stand. It's like carrying around a rather thick agenda, with all the pros and cons of that.
AYL CASE
Got the AYL case 2 weeks ago, did not receive that Stylus promotion though.
Overall I would give it a 4.5/5 as its all good except that the top is closed just by pure pressie, so I'm afraid after constant usage the stitching will start to give out.
I would recommend it though. Solid case.
How about that acase slim? it looks identical...
that roocase I think is bit too much for what I want it.

I'd say go with the AYL case... it looks nearly identical, to the carbon fiber folio case from kevikev:

I've had the kevikev case for about 6 months now, and I absolutely love it. I haven't even thought about another case. I notice the AYL case has a cutout for charging and ports too which is nice.

I love that case. The CF look is real nice too, I might go for that case when it's in stock. Shame not on amazon

I do not have any of those cases, I have a zoogue, but I could not use a case without a stand. No stand narrows your choices a bit.

Searching for a case like Griffin Survivor, maybe Seidio Dilex?

Hey guys, new to here, I work in schools, and recently the case for our iPads catch my attention, never used rugged cases before, only TPU, or cheap silicone, or wallet style cases. I some how start to like that industrial design of the Survivor, .for now I use the original Quick Cover, but it has no protection from drops, just a piece of plastic case, with some fake leather flap, id does feel good, and premium, but was ridiculously expensive, but we all know, it's the same for other original accessories, and rarely they worth the price of the company's logo. For example, I searched for some good dual QI charger, but found on from 3rd party, ZENS it is, and I was awsome guys. Now about the case I liked, a searched for a while here and there, stopped at 2 options, Dilex by Seidio, and Aegis by Trident, the Seidio is more useful, and looks nicer on images, but the construction is different. I don't really care for port covers, as I have a pack of separate caps, I bought some time ago, as I only use wireless charging.
My perfect cover would have a built in stand, have good drop protection, not bulky and heavy, and work with a glass screen protector, I use iLoome FLEX, that are most thin glass protector I know of, and do not interfere with GPS, WIFI, and especially QI wireless charging. Is Dilex is the case for me? any good bad experiences with it? how is the material? in compare for OtterBox, is it silicone, or rubber? and how much hard or soft it is? Thank's. and feel free to recommend me other covers that come in mind, that have that features. I rarely drop my devices, but just in case, and want to try some rugged case, maybe I will like it, like I like it on our schools iPads.
