Hi everyone,
Having an ongoing issue after I have rooted. Every time I try to play a flash video (youtube etc.) or play any kind of game my phone freezes for around 3 seconds, crash and then restart the whole system. I noticed however that when I plug in the headphones into the jack it sometimes gets rid of the issue while other times it will still restart the phone. I didn't install an custom ROMs, just straight unrooted and I have tried unrooting but the issue still remains. I tried finding an appropriate RUU for my phone but as far as I am aware there is none available for the 1.29 Vodaphone Australia version. If anybody could help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Yes I tried factory data reset as well as wiping cache through recovery. What do you mean by dalvik cache?

Yeah that didn't work.. Any other solutions?
Maybe installing a new rom will help. Try arhd ... Looks like stock rom. No visual changes.

If that doesn't work you are probably looking at a wipe and reflash of whatever rom you are using. Good luck.
I probably should have mentioned that I am using the stock ROM..never flashed anything
I've tried installing 2 different ICS roms and it just goes into a continous re-boot after install, I've done the factory reset and wipe cache's, any other ideas?

This is going to sound stupid I'm sure, but what does that wipe do that the other's don't?
Thanks

thanks

Reboot to CWM.
You'll need to full wipe by going to storage & mount
format the following- data, system, and cache.
next go back to the main cwm screen.
wipe factory/data that is on the main CWM screen and wipe cache partition.
afterwards go to advance then wipe delvik cache.
done!
or search for Darkside Super Wipe tool which can be found in the dev section.(pretty much the same thing but in one button)
I successfully loaded the latest Cordroid ROM V4 on HTC One X as far as install goes. However on reboot I get the Sense ring screen which am unable to use before phone reboots.
In a constant boot loop.
Thankfully took a Rom backup prior to install that got me out of trouble.
Anyone else managed to get this to work or is there an error in the Rom or the way I am installing?
Not had issues with previous Roms from Coredroid….
Probably something wrong with your install. Did you wipe dalvik cache, etc.?
Reflash new boot.img.

Hello,
I'm having issues to get the Pacman 19.1a (GSM) to start. It's stuck at boot. I've tried flashing 19.1, which is booting fine, however this is not allowing me to enter a PIN code. This issue was reported fixed in 19.1a which is why I tried.
I'm using the following kernel: boot-HELLBOY-CM10-201212251747.img
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Thanks!

As far as I know, I'm using the latest hellboy kernel. I've tried CM9 and CM10, but they both have the same effect. Should I be mistaken, could you provide me with a download link or version number I should get?
@brusell: So it seems I'm not the only one? I would have reported it in the ROM's topic, however my current postcount does not allow me to...
Resolved in Verdion 19.3
Just wanted to post the "solution"; the issue has been resolved in version 19.3.

you should have done a full wipe. In clockwordmod recovery to do a full wipe you must:
-wipe data/ factory reset
-wipe cache partition
-then go to advanced and wipe dalvik cache
I would recommend doing the above and reflashing the rom. A lot of rom issues that people have are because they didnt wipe properly before flashing, so its best to start clean
Ah, unfortunately my phone has now come up in a language I cant follow... how do I get out of that....thanks
You flashed an international rom on your phone and it's not bricked. Which means you are in the wrong forum.
Thaanks that the one
