Is there any way to get brightness slider on status bar?
I use currently Paranoid Android 1.9a kernel.

wrong section. ask on the current thread of Paranoid
You don't need it. Look under Settings, System, Status bar. You actually use the status bar itself to change your brightness.

1. Did aokp get rid of the whole dynamic/movie/standard display options?
And
2. Is there a way to get rid of the brightness slider on the status bar toggle menu? I like the slide across function but the bar takes too much space up in the status bar.
Thanks in advance to anyone who answers my questions

1. I've only seen that present in TouchWiz ROMs, so dunno.
2. Should be in ROM Control.
Hey guys,
I've been searching for a way to imply a brightness slider into my status bar, but i couldn't find something for my stock ics 4.0.4 ROM!
I would like to have it as a toggle or that the statusbar itself is the slider.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks!!

I currently use Power Toggles on the verizon Galaxy Nexus running JellyBelly 9.1. Is there a way to have the notifications stay on top but not have a notification icon? I used to be on Paranoid Android and it had notification toggles built in without the notification icon. Is there any way I could get that on the JellyBelly rom?

Widgetsoid from the market keeps it on top with the ability hide the icon in the status bar but that place remains empty like if there was something invisible there

Yes that is also an option in Power Toggles but I want to get rid of the empty space completely.
Don't think its possible. In order to display something in the notification shade (like toggles), it has to be tied to a notification icon too.

Is is only possible in custom roms? Because I tried ParanoidAndroid and it had notification toggles on top without any notification icon.
Yup. Custom ROMs only. If it were possible, why would these toggle apps have to have a notification?

Its available in custom roms cause they mod the status bar itself
All these apps do is borrow some space on it

No apps are possible to do that. Google don't let them. Toggles you see on custom ROMs are all built in to the ROM itself, so that's why it doesn't show the notification.

Are you using a different launcher than stock? On my phone only the stock launcher has the transparent nav bar and status bar. In any other apps the nav bar and status bar turns black as usual.
I need stock 4.2.2 status bar but the transeparent one pls.

I've installed the active bar of the Note 3. I found it in a thread of the S2 that works on the Grand. But the Default only works on S2.
