I'm looking forward to 2.2 but the biggest feature that was lacking in the older version was the Bluetooth Stack. Does anyone know if the OTA Froyo on the Incredible fixes the functionality of SSP?

Voice dialing through my Blue Ant Z9 worked perfectly on stock 2.2. I believe full HID support (bluetooth keyboards, etc) may still not be present in stock, and I believe it is present in Cryanogen, if you are willing to flash that.

Hopefully someone can test this with the Stock version. I'll be accepting the upgrade tomorrow. I'll be flashing my phone in the future if bluetooth doesn't work properly.

Bingo. Froyo Fixes the Bluetooth stack. Bluetooth SPP now works with Freedom Pro Keyboard Android drivers. http://freedominput.com/freedom-accessories/freedom-pro-keyboard . If you're ever looking for a full size keyboard for your phone, this is very nice. Comes with a little phone holder too.
Now if I could only learn to type!

Has anyone had any luck with the iGo slim keyboards? I've read that there is an issue with HTC's bluetooth stack but supposedly there is a way to "fix" the issue. Has anyone created an update for Froyo (or know the steps to do it manually) that would enable the keyboard?

I've installed the latest version of mike's Android Revolution HD (5.1.11) ROM (and the 5.1.x versions before). Before I used version 3.x of Revolution HD.
Since I use version 5.1.x, I'm no more able to use my bluetooth headset for phone calls. Even though the headset is set as default, it is not used.
If I try to change the device while doing a call it is also using the internal mic and speaker. Listening to music via bluetooth headset is working fine.
With version 3.x everything was working fine.
Is there anything I can do?

I, too, am having problem with bluetooth headset not working.
I wasnt allowed to post inside the developers area coz am a newbie. Sorry if i dont know where else to post so again sorry in advance... am all new to the android world (1st time getting an android fone SG Note2 and then 1st time flashing a ROM (AR HD 5.0)).
My problem is when im trying to use any kind of bt stereo headset it just wont work. Ive paired/unpaired/paired again but still no go. Tried using the BT stereo headset to other smartphones and all go.
I havent installed any multimedia apps that might mess up the recently installed/flashed AR HD 5.0.
Can anyone please help me. Ive tried reading/scanning the developer's forum thread but cant seem to find any workaround here....
Please please dont scorn me for being so stupid about the bt issue that im having...

With some devices, pair regularly but with my car nothing to do!

Im using Arconium ICS V4 and can pair with anything, my cars gps, other phones of all brands, nt having an issue with this Rom at all. Using it as my everyday Rom and still loving it, cant wait for V5

I have the same, tried Doomkernel, ICS stock and various Rom's (stock, arconium) but all have the same. The pairing with my bluetooth headset works fine but when I try to pair with the car audio (random PIN) the PIN pop-up never shows. With another car with a fixed PIN it works flawless again.
Got the same problem, doesn't pair with my car bluetooth after installing ics arconium on my arc s. With 2.3 this worked flawless.

I found a solution for my car bluetooth.
I renamed my car to 1 word (Don't know if it necessary) and I changed my code to 0000. After that my phone connected without asking for a password.
Have Problems with CM9.0 for Arc. My Sony Ericsson MW600 connects but Audio still works over Phone Speakers.
But with Stock Sony ICS Beta Rom it works fine.

I've got the same problem, using a Blue&Me system from Alfa Romeo/Fiat.
It generates a random pin and the device is called "blue&me". Won't pair, doesn't even prompt me for a pin code.
Can't rename the car or specify a pincode there.

For example, last Sabsa 10.1, I pair my headset with the phone, it works fine with music or video players, but the do not send any voice signals while talking. My opponent can't hear me and I can't hear him by Jawbone Icon.
Instead of this my old headset works fine, it is Nokia HS-4W.
Nokia HS-4W has Bluetooth 1.1 - works fine.
Jawbone Icon has Bluetooth 2.1 - does'nt work while calling.
Has this trouble a solution?

Watchout for changing roms.
In this Your BT connection failed (wierd, my car phone set connects, and I can talk all the time) but in another, like R29 cm10 based ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1778202 YOU'RE NOT ABLE to change GSM NETWORKS MANUALLY. So it's worse.

now headphone button a Bt. work fine on Sabsa Prime with new Kernel Beastmode (here ) or if you want tou should flash a new Viper Rom 1.2.2.

Delete your headset name from the list /system/etc/AudioBTID.csv
For example, for my Jawbone ICON i deleted the string "Jawbone ICON,1411,1511"
Now my headset works fine, I can call and speak through my headset.

Wierd... My car speaker set has no problem with bluetooth connection... Nokia CK 200.
Look deeper in the forum, once I've found the solution.

Applied p2jack's v3.0.55 and v0.1 mod, and now I can answer and finish calls, and get calller info in the display, but still no voice heard in any of both ways.
I'm with Sabsa Prime v10 and tried with my Sony Ericsson MW600.

I have old Nokia HS-4W with Hands-Free Profile (HFP), it works fine.
Instead of my new Jawbone ICON with Headset Profile (HSP). I can't hear the voice of my friend. But can hear the sound of the phone like a ring etc through Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP).
Sabsa Prime 11 is released, let me try it and see if Sony Ericsson Bluetooth calling voice feature works fine or not.
