When I watch a flash video on full screen, after a while the screen goes to the CRT off thing and after a second or two the video comes back but it loads very slowly. There is a problem causing the phone to not understand that it may not go standby during a flash video in full screen.

hi,
I'not verry sure but i've read that jellu bean will not support anymoreb the flash technology and will only cares about html5.
As announced by Adobe, Flash support will be withdrawn, it has warned that those already with the JB may have problems with compatibility.
But flash is there so should be able to use it.

nope.
JB will not support flash.
HI
Is there any volume solution on JB? as Volume+ doesn't work.. this is really annoying, the volume is simply unhearable!
+1

Trinity kernel app has volume boost if your using there kernel it seems to work good for me.

I've been using DSP manager. Its for ICS but works on JB 4.1.1. Flashable cwm zip make a backup before flashing!

One quick note: I ran into problems with DSP Manager because I was undervolting my phone. When the screen went off, the phone's CPU was restricted too much and any media would have a slight stutter to it. Anyway, not a problem if you're not undervolting, just a word of advice.
Ok thanks everyone
Backing up now, and will flash DSP in a couple of minutes. will report back
Volume+ is working for me.....

So I flashed DSP, it installed, but not working at all, does not affect the volume in any way, I checked the DSP under sounds..
How does Volume+ work for you?? are you ob JB? does it work on all volume levels such as ringtones, notifications etc.. ??

That's odd.. it only works for music on my GN. ringtones, notifications etc' stay very weak, and it's not only me, the reviews on the volume+ google play page are bombarded by JB users who lost the functionality of volume+.. sucks..
I never used volume +...but most kernels have high performance sound and maximum sound tweaks that I use and love. I know Franco and trinity have them.

Um...Just curious, couldn't you just boot into CWM then flash only the kernal without root? Never tried it, but I'm wondering... If you do that, only thing you need to do to go to stock is flash kernal back to stock...
Did u go to settings>sound>music effects ? Enable DSP manager or volume + from there

Halo 4 Load Screen Bootanimation.
Landscape
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/99143562/Halo 4 Boot.zip
Portrait
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/99143562/Bootanimations/Halo 4 Portrait/bootanimation.zip
Just rename the file to bootanimation.zip and install into "system>media"
*Note*
The quality isn't HD Perfect but it's still pretty good.
This is a video of the load screen, not the video I used, nor is it mines. Just an example so you guys can see how it is.

No Problem, thought I'd share it for those expecting Halo 4
**Note for everyone else:**
In case the boot wont load on your phone(s). Try to install/load it on to your phone(s) using either of the following apps = Absolute System or ROM Toolbox Pro.

I don't have anything on AC3 but I'll see what I can come up with. I usually just do load screens since it's simple and short.

Do you have a portrait one?
Sorry for the delay. I'll get on that soon.
*Note*
Portrait version of the Boot has been added
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
landscape works fine portrait comes up blank and I tried to install over 10 times. using jedi kernel 1.
I'll check it on my cell again and see if it works. If anyone else has trouble let me know.
Note: 11/20/2012
-Portrait Removed-
For some odd reason I can't get the portrait version to work no matter how much I try resizing or editing the desc file. The preview works fine on the apps, but as soon as I load it up it stays blank. I will look into this but it will take some time due to the holidays (ugh family) but I will work on it when I can.

Portrait version is up and working.
Tested with my phone
Portrait version only rotated once during the boot cycle. I'm running a Telus T-989D Samsung Galaxy S2x with CM10.
Gangnam Style lol, nice name.
It could be that your phone boots fast so it doesn't give the animation a chance to really play out. Thats my theory but I will reinstall in my phone and see if it plays out.

Just tested it and it plays out with no problem. Could be that your phone has a fast boot time.

Im pretty sure it'll work on any android, might just have to edit the image size using Rom Toolbox Pro or Absolute System.

This will most likely seem like a noob question, but I can't just take the bootanimation.zip from a nexus 4 and manually install it on my phone, correct? I'd love to have the nexus 4 boot ani on my phone but can't find one specific to the S3.
Thanks in advance,
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
Well I'm pretty sure the process is the same. I would try it out myself since changing the boot animation incorrectly can't mess up your phone, but I havent gotten my S3 yet
But anyway, use the instructions from here to setup your new bootanimation (replacing his bootanimation.zip with the nexus 4 bootanimation.zip of course) and see if it works. Theoretically it should, because the bootanimation.zip is just a bunch of pictures essentially
Also, could you give the link to that bootanimation? I've been looking for a nice one for a bit Thanks in advance OP :good:

I don't think it will work because although the s3 has a boot animation.zip that's not how the s3 plays the boot loader it uses a different format its just there because its the way android is built plus there should be some size differences the s3 has a slightly bigger screen which should have some affect on it but hey I may be wrong but all I know is s3 uses a different boot animation format

Screen size has nothing to do with it all that matters is resolution and file size needs to be within limits to be played.
OP as long as the resolution is correct you can use the custom animation method for the s3 to install it.
I like to break stuff!
Figured it out. Thanks everyone.

As requested. I pushed to /system/media and fixed permissions. Can't promise your phone will be the exact same.
Also, I upped the Google splash screen from the Nexus phones, you'll still have the Samsung logo boot first. Use this thread to create a flashable zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1928751
My phone currently boots in this order:
Samsung Logo
Google Splash Screen
Nexus 4 Boot Animation
ROM
I assume no responsibility if anything happens to your phone. I didn't create any of this, so i'm not taking credit.
dear friends,
i have already changed my boot animation. i have replaced it with Galaxy s2's animation. it was so easy.
i am stuck with boot logo. i have tried many methods but unable to change/delete boot logo. cannot found where the image stored (system->media->image)?
is there any one who have any idea about this?
how can i change my boot screen logo(the company logo comes immediate after power on) or delete?
where the image(?) file stored?
my phone is Lava iris 454 (ICS).
