I was wondering if there was any way to open a PDF document on the Google play books app? I have a few books that are in PDF format and would like to read them using the books app instead of the built in PDF reader

Nope, currently Google Books only supports books from the Play Store. I wish I could upload epubs and pdfs though.

Want to thank you for pointing me to this app. I was completely frustrated that no reader I tried on the Nexus 10 was anywhere near as smooth as on the iPad. Premium version will be purchased.

Even if you do get a hold of the apk, since its US only, I'm going to assume that the cloud feature isn't going to work, even people with VPN had issues.

I got it to work, I had to sign into Google music using the PC music manager using a proxxy. Made the site think I was in USA and I live in the UK.

So I don't if I'm the only one, but the thing I hated most about flashing roms is that after a flash, all your contact pics get all blurry and you have to reset each picture again, so I found this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jgarrison.hdcontacts
Pretty much you just back up all your contact pics and just restore them when you flash a new rom

My menu option for My Apps is missing from the play store menu. I've noticed it using Cleanrom then flashed another ROM that requires gapps and found it still missing. Is this by design with the nexus 7?

Hi guys.
I have problem with graphical issues on Android 4.4 when using AOSP Browser.
It used to be like this on 4.3 when I had any service in accessibility settings active, but when using 4.4 I can't find any solution for this issue.
Here is how it looks like:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I used this zip to get it:

Yes, this is very annoying. I'm not using it because of that.
Anyone else?

It is caused by quick controls as I see. I would be able to pay for the fix if some dev could do that.
Any other browser with quick controls out there?

Habit browser has them, although they are a little different and you have to set them to your liking.It's a great browser to replace the AOSP in kit kat.
This is what happens when I leave the browser.. For a split second

There is no more comfortable browser than AOSP. We need some dev to work it out. Buy how we can find him?
