On stock JB keyboard, when I switch to different language, it still shows only suggestions for english words,
anyway to fix that? Where do I get my language pack?

i was just going to ask the same question..
is it possible to add languages into the stock android keyboard？i really love it but it doesnt support mandarin and other keyboard just sucks..

I am trying to use Polish dictionary in the gingerbread keyboard because i find it more accurate and responsive and less buggy than the HTC IME mod but cannot get the Polish prediction to work
anybody has an idea?

Polish dictionary didn't work for me in Redux (1.1.0). I've switched to Oxygen - now it's OK.

well I got polish and english selected in the language input but when I switch to polish nothing happens, the predictive/correction still comes up as english
Why is there no danish/dansk dictionaries???
How can i get a hold of the Danish/Dansk dictionaries??

Same problem for all the nordic countries. We are still waiting for an official fix.

Use a different keyboard them stock. I'm using Swype which have Norwegian dictionary. Or you could swiftkey from the market (it's worth the price).

There is an ICS keyboard in market and Danish dictionary for it.
But I'm still looking forward to a built-in dictionary. Should be much better than the one from market.
I have contacted Samsung Denmark and they have been very friendly. I also asked if Danish dictionary would be included in 4.0.4, and the supporters would have a talk with the developers to get an answer on that.

Still no solution to this for a built in keyboard. And ics was supposed to fix that issue. Do dupy.
That's probably because you're on yakju. The generic version from Google. The other versions contain localization addons.
Did you manually chance to yakju or did you buy it with yakju?

I bought my phone with yakjuxw and later on flashed yakju cause I was on 4.0.2 with no update on sight when 4.0.4 is already out
Unfortunately I lost the localizations for Portuguese (which is what I want in my case).
I have to look into it myself but maybe you guys know if it's possible to extract the locale from yakjuxw and place it in my currently flashed yakju ? It must be some file somewhere to be retrieved...
is it possible to add more languages to the stock samsung keyboard? i would like to add czech, but it's not one of the current options. i've switched to gokeyboard, but like the stock one more. i'm not rooted (waiting for the imei problems to be sorted out).

I highly recommend you try switkey keyboard. I'd heard so many great reviews on it, but i just stuck with what I was using because it worked well, but now that I've tried it I'm BLOWN AWAY by awesome it is! They have so many language packs, and if you try it, I bet you'll love it. I highly recommend it, there is so much more functionality, they've given me features I didn't even know I needed. Best of luck!

i dont need any of those gestures, handwriting etc, i dont need it to work with the spen
i just want the layout (especially the top number row)
can anyone please help? thanks!!

doesnt quite cut it with the excessive buttons, that keyboard is kinda cluttered :/
tried other keyboards as well from the playstore and none works pretty well...
if anyone can make a keyboard based on the layout of the stock galaxy note 2 keyboard, please do me a favor if its not too much of a trouble
Hi I've got a little problem with my DHD, I have downloaded ROM JellyTime, everything is ok, but I don't have polish keyboard (dictionary), can I add it? Maybe I should change Latin IME.apk or LatinImeDictionary.apk?
Hmm... If memory serves correctly, it should be in the keyboard settings..
If not you can always use an alternative keyboard (like SwiftKey or Kii) instead

I don't think it works that way but, yeah go for it. Just do a nandroid backup before just in case
