(Req ) stock boot animation - Galaxy S III Themes and Apps (US Carriers)

I'm looking for someone to simply post the stock boot animation I don't want to download a 500+ mb file for it

Are you wanting the .qmg files?

Is it a bootanimation.zip? Or is that aosp only

Only Aosp or ktoonses Sammy kernel support bootanimation.zip files right now.
If you want the .qmg files, no problem. I haven't found a stock bootanimation.zip yet though.

That someone would be me then...
Copied from
File 1: /system/bin/bootanimation
File 2: /system/media/bootsamsung.qmg
File 3: /system/media/bootsamsungloop.qmg
I soppose you could just replace bootsamsung.qmg

Thanks a lot
And what i forgot... Maybe the shutdown-animation too? ^^
Edit: its located in /system/media/video/shutdown/shutdown.qmg
Edit 2: and maybe the sound from bootup and shutdown too?
Thx anyways

Here you go. Not sure where the sound files are though. If you point in the right direction I'll upload them too.
thanks,
/system/media/sounds/ui/poweroff.wav
i didn't find the bootup sound yet but i'm trying to find it in the next few minutes
Sent from my overclocked GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
it's located in
/system/etc/
exactly:
/system/etc/poweron.wav
for me there are 2 files...
/system/etc/1_Power_on.ogg
/system/ect/poweron.wav
i do only need the poweron.wav file
Sent from my overclocked GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
Here's the poweron.wav but I don't have the poweroff.wav. I rebooted my phone to double check and it doesn't play a sound when it shuts down.
Ehhh...
And if I would like to make my OWN bootanimation; how do I create the filetype?
SGS1 forum Themes section has some boot animations .
Most are multiple png files zipped .

Works like a charm! I just renamed 1_Power_on.ogg and poweron.wav and had no bootsound anymore.
zomg it took multiple searches to find this thread haha
many thanks for uploading the stock boot stuff!

It worked on my Sprint Epic 4G Touch. Thanks a lot....
I was wondering if you know how to fix this issue too:
I flashed batista rom before and there is a custom bootscreen where it states that it is batista and stuff like that... it's not an animation, just a static bootscreen.
After flashing other custom roms, it still appears.. i was on cognition and now with touch x-power+ but it still remains... only if i flash a stock kernel it shows the old bootscreen with the yellow triangle...
you know how to get rid of that screen?
thanks
+1
I've got the same problem. Batista boot logo is still there after the yellow triangle was removed with a jig.

where can I find the blue boot animation file on the Galaxy s2?

and how can I make from this file a live wallpaper?
Thanks!
It's in system/media , something like bootanimation.qmg (or similar, but it's a .qmg file).
And I don't know a thing about Live Wallpapers (exc. installing them), so can't help with that :/

[Request:] Default Boot Animation

Hey I just flashed the Liquidsmooth AOSP ROM and I was wondering if anyone could get me to the default boot animation. I just like that clean boot animation that it comes with. Thanks in advance

Qmg to bootanimation.zip

Trying to see if anyone can do this. I have the qmg file for the stock sprint jelly bean. But it's in qmg. My rom only allows to read the animations from the bootanimation.zip file.
Does someone know how to convert?
Basically trying to do this on the animation with the Samsung text and the purple swirl that goes around it.

It's proprietary Samsung format there is no conversion for it. If you would like to enable the stock functionality back to your phone then you will need to change the samsungani located in /system/bin back to the standard one and then the kernel will boot the stock qmg file instead of the bootanimation.zip
Hope that helps

What if my rom (CM10.1) doesn't have a samsungani would adding that file still override the bootamimation and play the .qmg file

If your running aosp all you need is the bootanimation.zip that you want to use. Drop it in system/media and give it these permissions.

Not really my question, I wanted to somehow let my AOSP rom run a .qmg file instead of AOSP's bootanimation.zip

Were you able to try it out? Did the kernal load samsungani with the target qmg files? I suspect the init scripts might also need changing. Please let me know if you have made any progress.

[REQ] original s3 mini bootanimation.zip

Hi there! Does someone have the s3 mini bootanimation as a .zip so i can move it to system/Media?
I dont want to disable custom bootanimations, but all i've tested really sucked.

QMG file format is a proprietary format. The encoding tool, decoder library are also proprietary. I don't think it's possible to convert to .zip
Not sure if possible but is the shutdown one the same ?

Shutdown is also .qmg, yes.
Deleting any bootanimation.zip from system/media should restore original
