keypad/phone lock

anyone no which to choose in the windows folder so i can set my left soft key to lock the phone??

Why not go to the options of battery status -> tools and DeviceLock on Wake up, check lock if display is off and vice versa.
Then all you need to do to lock is hit the power button, very effective.

i never used this tool but it sounds good for your problem.
If you want to replace a softkey and you can't with this tool - use remapsoftkeys:

But what brings this button on the screen ?
why don't just push the hardware button on the right side of the phone and your display is out = phone is locked ?
IMHO i think it's useless

cause if the power botton for the screen is pushed on the side the wi-fi connection drops and it conects via gprs to msn so i wana soft key to push (quicker than the apps the lock fone through the home screen )
i just need to no which one in the windows folder would control that ??

Isn't it the DeviceLock-Tool you're searching for ? It's the same effect with
this app...the 'original' built-in phone lock - no idea where it is stored...

working great for the odexed LP7, thank you so much.
but one thing missing while pressing power button you should see like spark

That wave bit worked when installed on mine. I guessing he means CRT-on perhaps??

Wtf is this ?

I have no idea how this started but a red sqare apears around the screens edges when i press on something, doesnt always happend, but its very annoying anf xda is really pissing me off coz i cant upload any fuxking screenshots

go to system settings, developer options, show screen updates or dont keep activities or strict mode.. its one of those settings.

[Q]Call keyboard in another language

Hi, my system language is english but when i try to call a number keyboard is something like russian language how can i change that in phone app?

Make sure the Toggle keyboards is ON in settings - Language & keyboard - HTC Sense Input.
Then click the language key "EN" (if currently English) to choose keyboard languages.

The hole app is in other language as i can see and not only keyboard .
when i click option i see first entry: Б.... Набор.

Can you give some screenshot on what you are talking about ? I can't really understand your problem. At first I thought you want to know how to change keyboard on different language.
Give the system language setting, app drawer and the keyboard settings screenshots.

[Q] Can i change the onscreen buttons

Hello there
Is there a way to change the onscreen buttons, like exchange the back button with the "multitask" button, so the back button is closer to my thumb when i hold it in my right hand?
I am using latest stock fw.

You need to install a custom ROM like AOKP or CNA.
That is, unless you want to be buried under miles and miles of XML and smali code by trying to do it manually.

Or you build from source. Or you use Metamorph (i think). Check "Themes and Apps" section. Next time use search first.

You can't change or move the buttons with metamorph you can only change the appearance and designs.
