So I'm trying to get my emulation on with pokemon fire red, and it repeatedly will not let me load the game. I've tried others and it's random on which ones will work and which ones won't. Anyone else experience this and know how to get it to work? What do you do? Create a file for the games?

What's your setup? I'm having no problems.
Did you load gba_bios.bin? Google that and make sure that's the bios selected and then pick the rom.
Ah okay ill try. I think it might be easier zip file. I'll check back in.

Does anyone know how I can fix the animation for downloading and uploading?

Or know what file/jar I need to edit to get it to work?

That's usually within the framework-res.apk. Without knowing what ROM or anything your using, nobody can really help you.
Its a rooted stock ota.

Update: The installing side animation works but the downloading side doesnt. Ive tried looking at it after decompiling it and I still cant see anything wrong, im just not sure what to look for.

It's not just you... I'm using MikG's rom and having the same issue.
I verified the data in stat_sys_download.xml and stat_sys_upload.xml and everything is fine.
Also like you, the animation seems to stay on anim0 the entire download, but will suddenly animate when at the 'install' phase of something.
For Reference, the files TYPICALLY are in the framework-res file. At least they were in Froyo and the files seem to still be there... maybe they are no longer used and there's an alternate xml controling things?
I'm assuming so, just don't know where to look.

It's buggy. Likes to exit the app a lot when you navigate menus, go back a page, or try to run again.

Unfortunately that seems to be happening to everyone. I also get a few "fall through map" glitches when landing on things even though I clearly landed perfectly. The game is still playable though, and it's better than nothing.
Yeah it does crash a lot. Hopefully they fix it soon. This game is actually really fun for a pick up and play game.
Very buggy on my epic cm9, seems to run much smoother on my transformer with ICS.
trouble downloading
It took me like 5 tries to back this up, im working on gettting one up and will put it in op. I wanna make sure that this isnt against xda rules first if its a free app though

same thing here, I've been getting an "error processing purchase" all day, i can't figure out why and i'm on cm9.Luckily I found the apk else where, it's fun but it keeps closing after every 3rd run.
Weird I did a search on the market and it didn't find it. I clicked the link from the PC and push installed it and it's working fine. I can't believe I didn't know you could do that. Pretty cool.
I could not find it on 3 different devices via the market
But I was able to find it via the market website, and just push it to my devices
Crashes a lot in the menus, but nothing that affects game play

I was getting that error too for a while. Not sure what causes it, but in the end I just reflashed my phone and I didn't allow Cm9 to restore my data, and it seems to work.

I had absolutly no issue finding it. You just need to search imangi temple run as who ever posted it clearly does not know how to use keywords properly. My problem was on the download side where it was pause half way through or have an error parsing. I finally got it about an hour before i put the op in,.
They released an update btw, no more freeze when running again/naving thru menus

Lovin this app
Found it with no problems and i've been playing with no issues. My kids love it too
It's a great game,I recently did more than 2,600,000 points.
Is there a type of phone/ROM emulator that can be used to test APK's? I am just getting into trying my hand at some coding and its frustrating to spend so much time de/recompiling and then pushing the files to the phone and rebooting when an emulator of some sort could tell you right away if the code is correct/working. Just wondering.
Thanks,

All this app does is shortcut you so that you can sideload flash player yourself. It is for the noobs that don't know how to sideload
What's this talk about side loading flash player?
I have it installed and all I had to do was download the apk, open root explorer, navigate to the downloads, click on the apk and install.
How hard is that?

You would be surprised. I talk to people daily that don't know how to install an OS on a computer. Nor do they know about other options like Linux distros.
True... I'm always helping everyone in my family do something simple on the computer.
Sometimes I forget that not everyone knows how to use one.

K people. No matter what I try every game I've tried on psxperia2.0 I keep getting the same error. The did not return without errors error? Somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong. I've set the system path. At least im pretty sure I did that properly. ( windows vista) or is that a common error if the game is incompatible? The games I've been trying were pretty rare ( unpopular) back then but that shouldn't really determine their compatibility with psxperia. ? Any ideas?

Try a popular game see if that works or not you might have a version not compatible with Windows vista (vista is a crappy system to Begin with I know I have it on my desktop I hate it

K tried a bunch of stuff including a complete reinstall. Can make apps if I don't extract the crash apk. But they don't work. If I do try to extract the apk I get the error. .. Cannot extract APK! Java says brut.androlib.AndrolibException: brut.directory.PathAlreadyExists: res
No idea what that means. Can't find it in any threads or Googled it with no luck.
Any body?

Tried completely starting over again. And for some reason it worked for three out of the four games I had been trying all along. Final fantasy tactics was my tester. Seeing as it is on the compatibility list. war games defcon1 is also working great with the American crash bandicoot as the source. Hogs of war just needed the rendering. Although it is missing the theme music but appears better than the original game did. But very upset soul blade appears to be broken. Just a black screen and rendering appears to make the black screen last longer. Has anybody had any luck with soul blade? Perhaps using the eu crash as the source?
Almost forgot to add that I converted all my ISO's to bin files and seemed to have better luck that way.
