Which version of CM10 are you on? I think that is a pretty well documented issue on both versions for the moment, but some people are saying they have had more luck than others depending on configuration...
Can you give us the Libs of Google Now please?
On the edevelopment thread someday said to turn in screen sounds and that's worked so far for almost everyone that's tried it. Go to settings, sound settings, and make sure touch sounds are enabled. Let us know if this works for you.

My touch sounds have been enabled since I flashed and I still have to do it twice for it to register.
That fix worked for me when I switched to CM10 PA 1.98

I by no means take credit for these but I can confirm they are working for me. I got these from the Skyrocket forums:
To fix the power off/reboot freeze issue do the following:
Make a CWM Nandroid backup of the ICS ROM. Then do a restore of the backup you just made without wiping anything. Reboot and test it out. It worked perfect for me.
Not sure why it works but it must have something to do with the restore scripts being used. They must somehow correct the power off/reboot issue.
To fix the portable hotspot issue do the following:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24134762&postcount=25
This has been tested by me and it works like a charm.
If I helped you please hit the thanks button.

Unfortunately I think the auto-rotate issue is kernel related so we have to wait for a specific kernel for our phones. I downloaded an app from the market "Auto-Rotate Status Bar Switch" and it seems to work pretty well.
ok thanks will try it right now and I leave at 6 am for my job and I have much time for that lolll
That app doesn't help. Still rotates into landscape when I'm in a portrait mode.

dude, as you can clearly tell from the rest of this forum, no one has a fix for it yet. be patient. besides, the OP isn't trying to address the auto rotate problem in the first place..
OP, i will try out the fix, thanks.
I am patient. Just wondering how to use that app that's all. Couldn't figure it out. Rotation locker works best for me so far

so im using Ravers blackedition rc3, with the ICS theme designed for rc2.
originally, rc3 had the shutdown/restart thing fixed, but flashing the theme broke it.
i tried your method but no luck for me.
im sure this still probably can work for those not using any themes tho
Yea what ROM are you running cause I tried both fixes and no luck
Samsung galaxy s2 almost ics lol
i am trying your method to get tethering to work...i followed your instructions and everything was good up until setting it up...i got to the skyrocket connected part...but when i hit my menu button nothing happens...i dont get the menu to set the SSID and pw
my laptop can pick up the skyrocket signal but it asks for a pw...and i dont know what it is since i didnt set one
edit: found your original thread and read the comments from another user...you have to tap on the word hotspot and then go into that page and then hit menu to configure...thanks!

Settings > Language and input > Voice cmd for apps needs to be ON. Also click on it and make sure the Incoming calls box is checked.
Just double checked that is turned on and unless I have to yell or something to make it work... It still continues to ring when ever I say answer or reject

I've never actually used it so I don't know how well it works...I'm going to try it now. Maybe it isn't recognizing your voice.
EDIT: Didn't work for me. Maybe it is broken in Blazer (I'm running Blazer 1.7) or it didn't work that good to begin with.
On blazer as well. Reject seems to work and answer works too.

Seems hit or miss. I do have to kind of raise my voice. Probably because the ringtone is loud.
I'm not sure if this matters but my phone is on vibrate does that matter?

This is a cool feature, but I had trouble getting it to work with the FreeGS3 rom as well.
Vibrate has to be off in stock Rom. Not sure about blazer prolly off.

well i've tried cm10.aokp and miui. and seems i cant record anything using either the stock app or a download and if i do manage to its seems its really low or has a bunch of static. also in arket when i try to search for an app using my voice it just acts as if i didnt say anything or its not receiving what im saying if anything at all. i was wondering if this is just me or can anyone else confirm this. i had one other person confirm this on miui but on aokp and cm10 they just say those bugs were fixed weeks ago. any help is greatly appreciated
nvm it seems i have to put my face right next to the top mic like literally and scream at it on those roms for it to pick up anything. which is odd because stock does at a normal distance >.>

when i said stock apps i was correct since those apps are stock to those roms >.> and the other time i said that the aosp roms did work as well as stock did a.k.a tw. so both times i said stock were the correct usage in its own case.
Just as the title says. Whenever I hang up a call, the phone will go dim for about 10 seconds, then lock. It's irritating if i have to make another call right away. How do i get it to just not do anything after a call?
If you want us to help you a few more info would be appreciate. Are you rooted or not? If you're rooted are you on stock ROM? If not on stock which ROM are you using? Are you using a custom kernel.? If so ,are you undervolted, over clocked, under clock, do you have a screen off profile?

No root. 100% stock. Screen off profile? I've messed with the display settings. I can get it to change somewhat. I can get it to go to a swipe to unlock screen instead of my pattern lock screen. But can't figure out how to get it to just do nothing after a call.
HTH.

Nice camera but it won't focus until we get a proper fix. The script should work though.

Yeah, considering it's CM based I think Android 4.2.2 and above may be the only way to go, even the WIP 4.3 code might be necessary for some functions. :crying:
I love this camera, But the focus issue still remains.
I appreciate you trying to find a fix for us!

I believe this is something that can be fixed, but its gonna be quite a *****. The International LGOG's camera works on AOSP perfectly, and they have 13mp as well. I really wonder whats so different from them, and why this is such an issue for us x_x

If u look at this screen shot it says the focus area is 0,0,0,0. Shouldn't it be different like set to a certain amount other then zero...

---------- Post added at 06:37 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:34 AM ----------
Official cm works great, no camera issues (But pictures still ****ty though), i think thats the reason of no responses.
On aosp, auto focus stops working when you exit camera app for 1st time. And starting to work if you wipe camera, till next exit.
Probably on exit its sending invalid lense parking settings to camera, causng it to hang. Or something like that

Could this help?
If you look at the script that allows auto focus to work currently on AOSP roms, it shows that you need to kill the mm-qcamera-daemon process first before opening the camera app (any app that uses camera). It seems that the process doesn't end when camera app is exited and that may be the problem.
you know I wonder if you were to set the kill all process upon exit in developer options if that would kill that process allowing the Camera to fully restart

Lol, idk haven't tried just threw out there what popped into mind
I am no expert on the autofocus problem, but I set the "don't keep activities" option in Developer Options and opened and closed the camera at least 15 times. I don't see any focus problem.
