I looked just about everywhere, but couldn't find anything.
While listening to music on my phone (flac and mp3, on phone not the cloud) I get skips and pops when I multitasking. Does anyone else have this problem? This doesn't happen all the time, but enough for me to put the question on here.
Nonrooted locked and stock (yes yes I will do it this next week.)

Phone speaker, wired, or Bluetooth?
I'm asking because I've seen an issue with music skipping over Bluetooth while the wifi was scanning.
I haven't noticed skips wired or through the speaker, however.

While using Google Music, streaming, I get skips and pops on longer songs (Hour long mixes).
This is on cell data w/ headphone jack.
Issue goes away for a few seconds when you pause the track and press play again, only to return.
Wired.. Always resolves itself, but annoying.

Okay.. I replicated it if someone can check...
Open music and play. Then go into the browser, and select a bookmark. Does it nearly every time.

Start playing a song and hit the three dot settings tab in the upper left select sound effects and turn on the EQ. You can change the EQ to to the flat setting if you want the music to sound as it did before. This fixes a lot of the music player sound issues.

Actually it does. People have reported before that turning on the EQ stops the skipping/crashing problem.

If you have a clue than you would know that it does fixing skipping issues so keep your "not trying to be rude" comments to your self if you are unaware of a fix.

Nope
Let me just add that you should read the first post.... Not downloading from cloud, and so that doesn't work....
I had the question so I know what I was asking.. This is why rootz is better, and less self involved asses.

I've had this issue since the beginning and in every other rom I tried for the optimus g. I was curious if anyone else has the issue where when playing music through bluetooth it sounds off key or slightly deeper. I also have a galaxy s3 and evo lte that do not have this issue performing same function.
I too have the problem of sound being slow/ out of sync using blue tooth. It is my first time using blue tooth so I have not tested on any other devices.
Doesn't bother me just playing music but on videos it is slightly annoying.

I guess this isn't a common issue.
Re: [Q] Music sound off key or a little slow when playing music throught bluetooth au

I am still left wondering if this sound issue is limited to only a few users
Literally the most annoying thing in the world - whenever I put my phone in my pocket, it'll usually unplug for a second, pause my music, change the media volume, then replay my music. This happens with all of my headphones, with my AUX cable, even with the headset blocker app.
Basixally the headphone jack is extremely sensitive. Is this just me? Is my phone defective?

Sounds like a hardware defect, grounds for replacement.

Do you have any kind of sound manager such as DSP manager/Beats/VooDoo?
Been happening to me too im thinking its because I have walkman app and regular samsung music player. If you have 2 music players try deleting one and see if that helps. Im on jedi rom btw.

Nope, but I'm using the PowerAmp EQ if that counts for anything.

Im running the vanilla rootbox rom using play music and keep having a problem with audio playback like it a fricken cd player while im walking it keeps skipping is there any way to fix this or a different app to use to play my Google music from? Im also using the lg bluetooth headset if that makes any difference.

It might be the Bluetooth Headset causing the skipping. I've always had bad cases with BT Headsets and they are never fun to work on. Is the music skipping without the BT Headset?
Yes even with regular headphones plugged in it still stalls and stutters. Thank you

Does anyone know why my phone automatically changes songs and the volume? Like when I'm walking with headphones, it'll change songs all of a sudden and increase volume to full blast. (This issue is only with headphones.)
I've tried different ROMs, kernels, and they're all the same. The issue keeps coming back. I've noticed this started happening since the latest boot loader update so I'm wondering how can I fix this or if anyone else has this issue?
Its really bugging me cause I can't listen to music properly.

Did you try different headsets?
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda premium
A headset with a button will have this issue while a headset without it doesn't. Even if I sit there and don't move at all, the songs and volume still changes on the one with a button.
