Cannot figure out why its been on all the time. I run my nexus an airplane mode most of the time if that's the cause.

Its like that by default. You can make it turn off when the screen is off in the WiFi advanced settings if you want. Not sure why you'd want it to turn off though, as you won't receive any notifications because you won't be connected...

Turn off "4G!" notification?

Does anyone know how to turn off the "4G!" notification that seems to constantly be there if you have the antenna on and there's no service? I want to leave the radio on as I am constantly moving and go in and out of 4G range throughout the day.
The notification is akin to the wireless network availability notification, except that one has a clear way to be turned off via the wireless network settings.
I am rooted and running the latest stock de-odexed ROM from xHausx.
Here's a screenshot of the notification I'm referring to

I 'could be wrong', but i don't think there's a way to do that right now.

About the only way is to turn off the antenna when your out of range of 4g. You can add a widget to make it a little quicker then going into settings.

[APP]Auto Data

Created by Glen Lee
This app is great and free. I can't believe I haven't seen it before or that more people don't know about. Great for people that are mainly on 3g. Haven't tested with LTE.
It turns off data while screen is off and turns on data while screen is on. (Power Saving Mode "on") Default is set to turn on and off every 5 mins in free version. In donate version you can set intervals manually.
No root needed
Works in ART

Deep Sleep Battery Saver is awesome also. Very simple to use and works wonders with the very simple customizations for the method of turning off data while sleeping and/or screen off.

Thank you.
Try turning on mobile data first, then an option should appear under the on/off toggle to turn off the warning. That's how it is on stock anyway, not sure if that's what you're using.

[Q] Security, Access Lock, I want it off!

I keep getting annoying notifications on my statusbar every time i install an app, it asks me to set "access permissions", for example, "ABC" app can use "wifi" "location", and cannot use "bluetooth" etc. It is kinda convenient in a way, but getting really annoying lately when it comes to wifi, it keeps giving me the "wifi on?" trigger message……WTH!!! I don't even know which app is trying to switch on the wifi, how can i make decisions what to do……is there a way to turn "access lock" off? I have LBE helping me to manage these issues.
If anyone know, plz give me some advice over this issue, really appreciated!
Thank you!
