I think the apn depends how you pay for your mobile service - payg or monthly

I have tried those settings, and I can't seem to get them to work.
Thats why I wondered if someone who actually uses CM6 on O2 could actually post their working settings?
I have tried different User Agents on Handcent also.
Anyone have any ideas?
In case anyone is wondering, I got this working, with a wee workaround.
I have put the APN settings in my Desire as posted by O2 on their website here: http://mobilereviews.o2.co.uk/devices/device.jsp?deviceId=651&tab=8&step=2&settingId=3201
I have set the User Agent in both Handcent and Stock MMS (CyanogenMod version) to iPhone 3.0, and I am now able to send MMS messages from Handcent, although Handcent doesn't seem to want to download any received MMS messages.
If I go to the stock Messaging app, the MMS message will download correctly!

What is wrong?
Check your APNs. Probably you have to edit them manually to the right settings of your provider.

Is anyone else not able to send or receive MMS messages? My text works fine. Started sunday or Monday. I've wiped, reinstalled, tried a different ROM, all to no avail. Wondering if its a VM thing. Thanks.

I'm experiencing similar problems. I'm using a Cricket One V running both stock and custom tons. No mms on any of them and It's driving me crazy. I've searched the threads, tried clearing cache, factory resets, and attempted a file replacement with no luck. I'm a semi-noob and would appreciate any tips, hints, or instructions. It sucks only being able to send sms messages

Not sure if this will help you. It is something to do with MSL.

So, I have found after wiping and reinstalling the different JB ROMs and kernels, that most of the time MMS will work a few times, but will stop working pretty quick. I was running JMZ one v with the CM9 kernel and it seemed to work fine. That was the only kernel, however, that would let me use WiFi. Any ideas why my MMS would work for a short time on JB ROMs and then quit? Until this problem started there was no problem. Anyways, thanks for everything.

MMS fix
Need to slightly adjust your APN settings for the fact you are now using JB instead of ICS

has the fixed settings for O2 but the only real difference is the APN type is now * only
maybe a possible fix?
So what I did when I had this problem, after putting a new rom on my phone was going in to settings>mobile network>access point names. I then went to menu and "New APN" I looked up my service providers APN and put in the info I was given from my service providers website and it worked
I have the HTC One V Primo U and I use Koodo as a service provider
my phone is a GSM and I'm using the mySENSE-v RC3.5 rom with titanium-kiss-usb kernal
Is anyone getting this error? it just happns now when i text people. I can't send or recieve texts. It says you cannot use this service and to contact customer support with error 2131. Wtf is this?
I'm guessing you're using the cdma version of myone right? I was getting this so I flashed a rom I built myself and messaging works again.
