Hi, for some reason my when I connect my Nexus to my PC it doesn't show the full filesystem, I thought it was a problem with my linux PC, so I connected my Nexus to my Windows PC and it still only shows these 3 folders.
This was also happening when I was running ICS though.
Phone Info
Galaxy Nexus 16gb
ROM - Team EOS JB 4.1.1 Nightlie 109

After updating my SII SGH-989 phone from [v1] to [v8] Windows started to recognize my phone as SGH-727 (ATT Galaxy S II Skyrocket) USB Storage.
With Evolution.3 [V1] installed it recognized as SGH-989.
I would care less about it, but I did backed up my Contacts and an other items through Samsung's KIES. Now with [v8] KIES stopped working with my phone.
Is that how it was designed? How can I make KIES work again?

I use the Cryptonite app for EncFS encrypted folders on my Droid devices. My phone runs Cyanogenmod 7 (Android 2.3.7) with the 2.6.35.14-cyanogenmod kernel and it has FUSE support. This enables Cryptonite to mount an EncFS-encrypted folder as a volume that other apps can access directly.
However, on my Kindle Fire tablet with the Energy ROM (Unofficial CM9, Android 4.0.4, kernel [email protected] #2), I cannot mount volumes. I really need to be able to do so, but have not yet found a build of ICS that has FUSE support in the kernel. Where can I find one? TIA.
Hello, I bought a connection cable on Amazon (to connect a USB drive).
I am on Alliance Rom xxlsj with latest Dorimanx Kernel. Must a harddrive have an external power search? I connect a drive, but nothing happens. By the way, in es file explorer is no directory like USB-drive - so was it in ics
Is there anyone how knows that Rom / Kernel combination?
Thanks

Interesting! Looks like you put a lot of work into it.
I have tried to use it but when I put the phone on fastboot windows doesn't install the drivers properly.
Then I used the toolkit to install the drivers, unlock the fastboot, and then tried again.
Got the message out of memory

Have you tried to manually install the drivers in Device Manager?
It may be a good idea to manually install.
Open Device Manager > Search for a driver called "Android 1.0" > Right Click > Update Manually > Direct to Drivers > Click Install Drivers Anyway > Sorted. :victory:
Hope this helps you out

I have a Byond Mibook Mi3 tablet with
- Telechips TCC8923 1.2Ghz CPU
- Mali400 GPU
- running Android 4.0.3 ICS
- Primary Camera 2MP & Front Camera 0.3MP
- no GPS/Bluetooth
I Googled for custom roms and couldn't find one for my device
But I managed to find some devices seemingly similar either visually or on specs (though some have extra GPS/bluetooth)
- FreeLander PD20
- OEM A7 7"
- Hyundai A7 ART
- E420 (unbranded)
I also managed to get this page "telechips.com/technical_support/kor/opensource/opensource_list.asp" from Telechips support which says Open Source Software and lists Linux Kernel, Android sources in .tar.gz format.
I would also like to know whether I can flash any AOKP or AOSP ROM on my device?
If so pls let me know which Jelly bean ROM is best suited for my device or o ROM with best compatibility (I prefer a vanilla experience)
please I have the hyundai A7ART and'm also looking for a rom JB
