Images Found But Still Need Some Help

I'm using linux and trying to edit these images with GIMP is extremely hard to make them look smooth. I never used GIMP I'm use to Photoshop and my laptop won't boot up with Windows 7 I think my partition is corrupted. So I'm stuck with linux until I can figure out how to fix my laptop. Would someone mind editing these 4 images with the color code 8d8d8d? To match my other Gingerbread icons the time it would take to fix my laptop I would already have left for work I just need those images to release the final to my rom.
Solved-Can someone help me find these four images in the status bar that has the charcoal blackground. I just need the name of the images or if you know exactly where they are that would be even better. I've been looking all day and can't find them. I've extracted 8 roms and some themes and still can't find them.

Text message notification is in system\app\Mms.apk\res\drawable-hdpi\stat_notify_sms.png
4G icon is in com.htc.resources.apk\res\drawable-hdpi but I dont see the one with the !. There is another one in res\drawable\
3G icon. The only place I found it was in com.htc.resources.apk\res\drawable\
The USB icon is in framework-res.apk\res\drawable-hdpi\stat_sys_data_usb.png
Though I think I've changed this one before and it didnt take so there might be another one located somewhere else.
There also might be more of the other icons in additional spots but these are all I could come up with. Hope this helps.

Thanks A lot man I was would have been looking forever for the text message notification.
The 4G notification I found but I don't think that's the one that shows up but I'll try modifying it anyway to see if it works.
3G Thanks I wasn't sure if that was the hotspot image or not.
The usb samething happened to me also.
I'm trying to do the last fixes before I take my rom out of beta and those 4 images was giving me the hardest time ever. I appreciate it

No prob. There must be another USB icon in one of the system apps, but I have no idea which one.

Works for me.. graphically it has some glitches when I go to settings, but the the rest works.

its same app but a different version, as the version that is available on the Epic is not compatible with ICS

The file is an apk but the download is a zip and it doesn't install. Where do I get the apk file?

You don't. You can use a third party text app and block it from view, but I find widgets like APW pull from the stock message app so they are still shown on the widget. You can also either wait and see if the cm team integrates a work around to hide them or use GV. I just use GV.

Is there a newer port than this? I like it, but the graphical issues are a bit of a problem. It happens on the main screen as well.

Unfortunately it sounds like it still streaks on CM9. It's something specific to CM9 that it causing it as it does not occur on CM7.

Using it on 2.3.16 working fine for me thanks for this!

Thanks for posting...there were like 2 updates since the initial port and I have been waiting for one that worked...I can confirm this runs flawlessly.

I'm on CM09ß3 and I don't see no difference. It's still redraws like before.

On all the roms I've used its never worked it always just says failed to upload.

Yep wurks fine on FC 22...but I liked FB black which would work great with this Rom ("Goodness")...But just keeps FC all the time...FB Black wurks way better than Reg FB on GB Roms...Oh Well...

Has worked fine for me on any rom that's been released. It's not really a rom issue but a service issue even if it looks like you have good service which has happened to me.

Yeah...But I really like that FB Black...and it wud really luk great with ICS...

Probably an issue with Facebook servers. It worked for me the other day.

Then my guess it's an issue on your end. I take full size pics and always upload them without any real major issues ever other then what I stated a few posts above.

Usually works fine for me too. I am really ticked off that the android version doesn't have a retry feature like the WinMo version does. Annoying as hell to have to redo the tags/comment/info later on when you try and upload later on when it errors out.

[Q][ICS] Looking for proper/working SMS Splitting

Not sure if this is the right place to post this - sorry in advance.
I'm looking for a flashable MMS.apk or .zip that would give me the stock ICS messaging app with SMS splitting that works.
The only ROM I know that has this working properly is Apex. Every other ROM I've tried either doesn't have the option to split, or does have the option, but it doesn't do anything.
I've searched the forums and could only find themed mms.apks to use. It looks like a few others are looking for a solution to this as well. Has someone posted on this before? If so, please send me in the right direction.

First off it works on codename and it works on markVis's super charged roms, and this should be in general not development, sometime you have to go to settings in messaging and turn SMS split on

Was on CNA for weeks, and a few different versions at that. It was brought up in the threads there, too. Currently using AOKP right now. Will check out markVis's, so thanks for that suggestion.
In my OP, I was saying that some ROMs have the option, but it doesn't "do anything," meaning that the app will still work as if it wasn't checked in the settings. I've re-wiped, re-flashed, and the whole shibang.
If a moderator can move this thread, that would be cool. I'm still (relatively) new here.

Is that the stock mms.apk from the rom or from a theme you installed? I haven't used codename but the problem reported by the user is something reported on aokp and being that a lot of roms will use features from others I would suspect other roms could easily have the issue. The only mms that has properly worked for me is the one originally released with oics.

if you were on two different roms and it didnt work on either, then it probably is safe to say its not the rom.
try the link to denverg's mms.apk's they have saved me in the past when i didnt want to mess with the 160split problem. but over the past couple of months, i have been on CNA and AOKP almost exclusively and have not had any problems with split. make sure you dont restore data the next time you flash a rom. flash it and test the split, then restore whatever data and see if that breaks it. that will tell you if its the rom or your data. my 2 cents fwiw

oICS is the only rom I've used where the split actually worked. Its the reason it took me forever and a half to leave that rom lol. I'm a big texter and its annoying as hell not having the split, specially when the option to turn it on is laughing in your face lmao. Btw I'm as well on AOKP b28 and would love to see this actually work.

I saw these earlier, but thought that they were all themed? They all say "Inverted" on the .zip files. Do I just download the ones that say "Stock", too? And GI or BI (wut?).

They are all inverted. Probably the only place to find the white background would be in the oics thread by aosp. Gi or bi just indicates the color of the icon. Green or blue.

Those are Denverg's as well. I have the blue icon and green icon versions and they have white text if you can't track them down

That wasn't what he was implying, for me it's worked on every Rom I've used except for one, and I'm a flashaholic I flash a lot of roms , it could simply be an issue of not doing a full wipe or something

Thought I'd mention split also broke for me on aokp, option is there but no dice. Worked like a charm in oICS..

Heres a Modded Youtube v4.1.23 Its has 3g+Wifi HD and also this one lets you be able to still have the youtube playing while screen is locked for pple that likes to listen to music
If you already have youtube unistall it first (may have to reboot after)

I installed it but it wasn't on hd. I had to goto setting n set it to hd.
I didn't have this issue before (correct me if I'm wrong.)
