Hi guys...
i've installed Battery Monitor to check how much mA consuming the phone in stand by and in use... i notice that i have high battery usage...
Can you say to me how much mA use your HTC ONE X?
Thanks!!!!
Mine is using an average of 300-400, but i just flashed a new rom and installed alot of apps.
Are you on root? You can improve your battery life if you have root, also try to turn of Wi-Fi and Mobile Network off if you don't use it, atleast one of the two off if not using. And try not to use auto sync
Hope this helps, be sure to search a guide for improving battery life.
If i'm correct I saw a link in the OP of the ARHD Rom thread.

Need some help here..
I have rooted desire with latest lee's rom (thank's lee, you have my gratitude), installed with setcpu, also juice defender, and have done battery calibration (can't post a link since i'm a junior member).
Fyi, i'm a heavy user, got my gmail, twitdroyd, facebook, and instant messaging sync everytime, frequently playing with internet based games, surfing a lot, and have my based network on 2G and my brightness turn to 10%.
Is anyone here having similar problems like me and have passed the situation? sorry that my english isn't good
Thanks bfore..
I don't understand your question - problems similar to you - like what ? you didn't write what your problem is ?
/Smirge
if its about battery life, i am just as heavy user as you, i can get 8-12 hours out of my battery usually, you can get batterys for as cheap as $10 on ebay, just buy a couple and a dual charge dock (that can charge a battery that isnt in your phone) and your battery problems are gone
In u'r case, no doubt you will have very short battery life
Come on Indonesia, be realistic lah..
Dan gak usah lah pake sebut nama negara kita, malu dong gan
from my Desire + XDA App
try a few different radios - I've seen my battery life double using some of the newer radios.
you can check them out here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=687464
start with the most recent and work your way down the list.
Yes it's about battery life that last about 6 hours, and using the latest radio. R u folks have tried calibrating the battery? I want to know the method, cause it seems wiping the battery stats have no impact to my battery life..thanks

Hi!, i'm looking for a ROM with a good battery life, because, i like to plug on 3g all day and my actual ROM in 2 hours, spends about 20% of battery that's horrible!
Thanks so much guys!
I actually have this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1039257
And 44 radio.
Have you tried LeeDroid 3.0? I'm running that, I'm a heavy user and it works a treat. Plus, HTC Sense =)
The best battery-saving-rom is Redux 1.1.2. for me! Give it a try
Thanks to both, actually the LeeDroid 3.0 haven't shows spanish language 100%, so, it's a "problem" (not too important, but i'm spanish and i like have my phone in my language ) so, i'll try Redux 1.1.2 and later LeeDroid when shows spanish
Thanks!
Htc Desire
it's good and awesome man i think i must go for one.
Tbh I get 3-5mA usage on the stock sense 2.2x rom - so battery isn't bad on the stock roms. What can change is the radio/ril which determine how efficiently the phone handles mobile/wifi signals - after screen usage and wifi this is usually the biggest drain.
That said, I find it looks nice but don't need it all and prefer Redux
+1 for Redux defiently the best battery saving rom i've tried
What do people use to monitor app mA/battery usage?
I've tried battery monitor widget, and system panel; the former show's me - by monitoring every 60s - that something is pushing the battery from 3-4mA to 50, 80, even 150mA usage at seemingly random times (phone idle overnight) - any ideas of an app to shop which these spikes are?
Syspanel is ok, but doesn't show you what causes what usage when.
Battery life is also determine by what's running in the background. I'm running CM7 and I use wifi practically all day. If I don't use that then I use mobile network. My battery life can span up to 2 days or a little more if I'm careful.
Battery saving roms are ok but unless they're been heavily optimized for it, I don't see the real point.

Best ROM I've used is Amethyst. Could easily get 2+ days of usage out of it, but the dev went to a Nexus S, so stopped development on Amethyst, unfortunately.
Hello everyone
I am using my HTC One v for about a week and the battery drains quite fast
I don't play any heavy games or use too much apps
I turn off the wi-fi when I don't use it and the screen is on automatic brightness
the battery drains even in sleep mode
and I would like to know the best way to charge the phone
I've read several forums and somwhere (I don't remember where) I've read that li-ion battery needs some time to become the full potential
Is this true?
and if it is does anyone know how much time it needs?
by the way the phone is not rooted
Thanks in advance!

I'm currently on TeamNVDRU CM10 Nightly from the 1st. Battery is at 34% after 9 hrs off charge and 1hr 6min screen on time.
I have tried all underclock, undervolt, battery life tips i can find and the best i can get is about 14hrs on this rom.
I even asked HTC for the price to install the 2100mAH battery in the phone... they came back with $160 which for a 15% boost isn't worth it.
Therefore I am asking the community, which is the best rom for battery life? Sense roms and stock included.
I'm also wondering if there is an app that can collect battery life stats and post them to the web, sort of like antutu but for battery instead of 3d performance. Does such a thing exist? It would be useful for this phone.
My usage profile:
Listening to music ~45 mins each way from work
Gmail push for priority inbox
Microsoft Exchange sync once a day while on charger
Talkbox for communicating with workmates
Viber for texting/calling my girlfriend
Facebook push disabled, notifications disabled
Underclock to 1200, Undervolt -125
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Its well known that AOSP roms' battery is generally lower than sense roms...so if u want a proper battery life...try one of the sense roms...hasnt disappointed me...nearly same set of requirements for me and it has not failed..!! I am using AHRD which is quite good..also try ViperX roms...read a lot about it being real good..!! but havent had the time to try it out myself..!! but generally ARHD or ViperX can help u with ur usage...give them a try and try for like ~1week b4 u come to a conclusion...What i do is to wipe out battery stats when i install a new rom so that the battery is calibrated with the new rom..!!
Hope it helps..!!

I know people still do it but wiping batt stats its pointless. It's been proven it has zero effect

use Blade rom with no-frils app and set cpu to 860 , lasts for one and a half day with regular usage ......
Honestly ?? Stock rom got best battery life. I used Renovate and ARHD, they don't reach even a half of stock lifetime.
I am on TripNDroids releases now for a time (since 017 I guess) and I must say, the battery life is fair. I use my phone often for WhatsApp and surfing/playing around and one battery charge lasts for one day. Although I have set the screen brightness almost to the minimum.
I've tried a few ROMs, but it's the kernels that are making the difference for me, i'd try viperx with faux ultimate kernel if you want good battery life.
And do try repacking the kernel boot.img with the one from the ROM using the repacking tool on the dev section.
Hello,
I'm looking for a very stable and smooth rom wich has very good battery life.
I'm currently with the last viper one and my battery life is not good in my opinion and I'm having battery drain with media server (already cleared all the sd card and still have battery drain but anyway even when I don't have the battery life isn't very good).
Maybe the stock one is the best one ?
Thanks for your help
PS : Also if you have any tips to improve battery life, it would be great
PPS : I don't expect a better battery life than what can actually offer the HTC One, just something good enough to hold 2/3 days in very light use and one day in heavy use (4/5 hours screen on)
NuSenSeven with the included kernel has given me the best battery life. I have also underclocked to around 1.5Ghz which I cannot even notice performance wise. I also run my screen as dim as possible.

Thx for answer I'll give it a try this weekend
It was even better than stock rom ? What battery life do you actually have ? (how many hours screen on, screen off...)
Any other suggestion ?
PS : I don't see any installation guide for this ROM. I just have to put it on SD card and install it with TWRP ? I am with international HTC One M7 s-on unlocked.

You really need to be S-OFF.

Your also posting in the Verizon section.
Need to post your questions here:

Ho sorry I hadn't noticed I was in Verizon section ! Thank you !
Why do i need to be S-Off ? Don't really want to spend 25$...
