Running an EVO (0003) with Swiperrat's MIUI 2.7.6 ICS build. Love the MIUI setup BUT>>>>
Without Mason kernel or Fergies Advanced Options.... it boots fine.
Flash either addon separately (or both) after the ICS build and I get stuck on the white EVO bootscreen. I use the SmelkusMOD with the FORMAT ALL option to clear old ROM.
DETAILS:
PRL 60690
NV/PRI: 2.15.003
BASEBAND: 2.15.00.12.19
WIMAX: 27243
SDCARD PARTITION is Ext4
Any ideas on a good kernel to run and getting the Fergie patch to work?
Thanks ALOT!

Does anyone know which Froyo ROMS are compatible with Desires which have SLCD Screens?
I've tried OpenDesire and Cyanogen v6, but they both just give me a blank screen on boot.
any rom which use a recent version of our kernel (check my signature for kernel info), sony tft support was added 2 days ago, and cm6 nightlies from 08092010 have slcd support, other custom 2.2 rom might have to update their kernel
and of course any rom which use htc 2.6.32.15 stock kernel
I'm running the very first ROM that Paul at Modaco built from the official Froyo-Sense release. It ODEX'd and has the stock kernel (no mods or anything). I prefer it that way.

Can someone add link for rom that support SLCD. I need it in ZIP format as i can work only in recovery mode from the Desire. I have HBOOT 0.83 after downgrade from 0.92. With the 2.1 arrived with the package the phone work. After trying to upgrade to 2.2 rom i have the problems.
Update
Issue solved. wipe and re install, work perfect.
my phone at cyanogenmod 6 recently i decide to flash wildpuzzle 0.8 i did wipe all and after i flash then after reboot nothing happen still in cyanogenmod 6 im using clockwork 3 anyone encounter this before.
Use Clockworkmod 2.5.0.7 via ROM Manager.
it's work sir thanks. but after i install wildpuzzle 0.8 in android information is 2.2.1 not wildpuzzle 0.8 and the gingerbread keyboard does not appear and also over clock all that i flash after flashing rom.
WildPuzzle is based on Android 2.2.1 only, so what you are seeing is correct. 0.8 is the ROM version of WildPuzzle itself, not related to its Android version.
GB Keyboard is probably disabled by default. Compose a new SMS, long tap on the message body area, select Input Method and then select Gingerbread Keyboard. Before this, you will have to go to Settings > Input and Keyboard and make sure Gingerbread Keyboard is enabled.
As for OC, you will have to go back to SetCPU or an app like that. In-ROM CPU Speed tuning works only for CM and its derivatives.

I try all the kernel listed but the problem still not yet resolve.
Try to reflash the ROM and if that does not help then probably is a hardware problem.
Hi Guys,
i'll go back to XJ's MIUI XPART Rom but i dont know what i must do. My last Miui was 1.7 or so
Is the New 2.3.30 Rom Stable and Battery friendly?
Same Scripts or modifications ?
a simple Step by Step Guide will be Nice.
My Desire is already S-OFF / Rooted.
LG Linda
~~ Sry for my BAAAAAAD English
I used the latest miui for a couple of weeks and had no problem what so ever.....the Xpart version worked great for me
sent from the Netherlands....
what have u..
- HBoot
- SD Card Settings
- Kernel
- Scripts (Supercharger or what ever)
?
That doesn't apply anymore as I am now running runny rom. I had the xpart on cm7r2 hboot with all the standard settings, sd card was setup with a ext4 partition 1024 MB. only changed the kernel to kitty kernel
sent from the Netherlands....
I tried JJ's Hybrid ROM Ver 3.b..
Everything went well except
1. Internet not working.
2. Is there any way to set custom ringtone..
Using ArcKnight RC2.2 Joker Edition Kernel with baseband -72..
Internet works with the same settings in MOODED ICS 80.8 !!
Did you flash the modules for the kernel? Needs to be done any time you flash a rom, on some occasions you may need to flash stock modules followed by the custom one.

Sorry couldn't follow you
Did u mean the kernel flashing?
1. Flashed Arcknight RC2.2 through fastboot..
2.Did Full wipe/cache and dalvik cache . Flashed JJ's hybird ROM
3. Flashed Arcknight Wi-fi modules..
4. Rebooted phone...
i installed Arcknight kernel over Doomkernel ...
Try this; reboot into recovery, flash the stock wifi modules from here, boot then repeat with the ArKnight modules.

in jj hybrid v3.b edge is not working because u have to redefine the internet apn settings YOURSELF . Then it would work.i don"t know this is a bug in jjrom or u can just use apn backup & resore as a system app due to android 4.0 restrictions.
Will try
@ sinkster
Thanks for your reply ..
Tried the steps u mentioned.. Still the problems exist..
@ ArcMan09 ..
Thanks..
Will try and get back..
btw can i use custom ringtone in this ROM?
dont worry mates, I fixed that Bug in 3.1 stable..
it was missing APN configuration file which i forgot to copy in TEST version..
Thanks a lot
Thanks ...
If i understood correctly i can flash the ROM Control by
1. Installing 3.1 Version.
2. Changing to 24 hr format..
3. Rebooting. (as mentioned for version 3.b)
4. Again rebooting in cwm and flash the ROM Control..
Problem Solved
Installed JJ's Hybird ROM ver 3.1 (no edge issues) and its working great..
Changed time format after flashing ROM Control..
Thanks for all.
